I highly recommend Window World. Amazing professionals from start to finish. Dustin was an incredible sales rep - extremely knowledgeable and did not waste our time like the other companies. Unlike other companies, Dustin gave us one price and did not hold us hostage for 5 hours to get a sale. The price was more competitive than the other 6 companies we got estimates from. We had a big job, over a dozen windows & multiple doors replaced and multiple trim repairs. Josue Alas and his incredible team did any amazing job on the day of installation. They showed up on time, worked hard all day and really showed their art with the end result that left us happy and satisfied. Do not waste your time with anyone else Window World is the best! I’ve attached some pictures of the work they did. Thank you Window World we will be doing business with you again and have recommended you to our friends and family.

We love our new Patio Door and are very pleased with the entire purchase process. The sales rep Alex Marguess came to the house and gave us an honest reasonable estimate to replace our 30-yr. old metal framed door. I knew right away I did not need to look around any further and signed the contract. The difference to the big box store: our door is custom made in a factory in NC and comes with a better warranty. And - it did not cost much more! I was also impressed with the craftsmanship. Josue Alas together with his coworker were done in 2 hours and left us with a clean new door! Thank you!

BUYER BEWARE !!!After much communication with Window World personnel in the Wash DC office (They are a franchise), Window World Consumer Relations Department in the head office in Wilkesboro, NC, and the franchise owner, about getting the products (siding, a front door, and a storm door) that I contracted and paid for in 2022 completed, I thought I was finally out of the woods at the end of 2023 when all the items were finally all delivered and installed. Unfortunately, I was clearly wrong. Issues with communication, follow through, and quality remain solidly inconsistent.Quality is now the foremost issue I have with Window World although there are accompanying matters of follow through and communication. I discovered an opening in the front door sidelight that was installed on May 26th of 2023 as the weather got cooler. I contacted the Regional Manager about a gap in the sidelight of the newly installed front door on October 18th of 2023. This matter was addressed but as usual, later than the promised date.On January 26th, 2024, the storm door which was also installed on May of 2023 developed a serious problem. It could neither be unlocked from inside nor from outside. I was trapped in my house and could not exit. I was concerned about safety and did not wish to sleep in a house I could not exit readily in the event of a fire. Once again, I was forced to contact Window World.Although the storm door lock had had a similar problem on the day it was installed, I was able to unlock it then after several hours of jiggling and maneuvering the lock mechanism before help came. This time hours of jiggling and maneuvering didn't work. I credit the Regional Manager on this occasion for suggesting that the seal for the glass in the door be removed until the next day when he would come inspect the storm door lock. I was fortunate that my neighbor was available to help remove the glass in the storm door. The Regional Manager himself was unable to unlock the door until he picked it apart with a tool when he came to inspect the door on January 27th, 2024. He did replace the glass in the door and I taped the door lock so that it would not accidentally get stuck again pending it being repaired or replaced. He did inform me that a new lock for the storm door would be susceptible to having the same problem since a mechanism inside the lock turned beyond where it was supposed to which makes it catch in a position that makes it lock in place. The problem is a design flaw.The Regional Manager promised to order a new lock for the storm door and to contact me within a few weeks. I heard nothing from him since January 27th, 2024 so I contacted him on March 11th, 2024 by which time the seal that holds the glass in the door had started to fail. I now have to constantly push the seal into it's grove because it won't stay in place. A promise to get back to me the next day was not kept. I reached out again on March 18th, 2024. My enquiries at this point were met with brusque responses and no definite date or window of time when the problem would be resolved or my money refunded so I can go purchase a functional door myself. The manager ended our text conversation abruptly on March 18th 2024. A dismissive attitude toward customers does not grow a business. It invites reviews such as mine and law suits.The quality of the storm door has proven to be worthless and the level of disregard for customers inexcusably shoddy. It is no wonder that so many customers in recent times have few kind words for Window World. I do intend to get what I paid for or my money back.

I want to highlight the outstanding work of Josue Alas and his crew for an amazing job installing 20+ windows on my home. The attention to detail was outstanding, the trim work and metal smithing was top notch, and clearly Josue has skill and pride in his work. Also, Dustin our project estimator and overall manager could not have been more fair, honest, and helpful in the process. I will absolutely be recommending WW to anyone that will listen, and could not be more happier with the end result.

We started off on the right foot as our Window World salesperson (Linton) was incredibly patient with all of our questions, and was very responsive to our follow-ups regarding HOA color, etc. He knew his product literally inside and out, as he discuss the differences in air pockets in the various windows.The scheduling staff kept everything perfectly on schedule. Our installers were incredibly professional and expedient. Everything was clean and we found very little residual mess after the installation.The windows are brand new, so only time will tell how they hold up, but so far they're a massive improvement.Service: Window installation

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE PROFESSIONAL LOOKING WEBSITE.10/22/2021 Update: I was hoping that I could update this with good news. However, that is not the case. Window World still has not completed the work. They came again, took a look and left. They showed up at our house, no appointment and then left. We are now at the end of our patience and the next step is through the courts.9/7/2021 Update: Window World finally came and fixed the incorrect installation of the gutter on August 21. However, the gutter covers are still not installed. The facia wood still has not been replaced as agreed upon on the contract. I have called multiple times for the gutter cover to be installed but have so far been ignored. This issue is now several months.7/31/2021 Update: Immediately after I posted this review, I received a call from Window World and a promise that they will fix the problem. I did receive a visit from the Regional Sales Manager and he took a look at the problem and promised that a crew will come back and a promise "to make it right" with us. That has been about two weeks and several follow up phone calls and still waiting. In the meantime, water continues to gush out of the gutter and is eroding the soil around it. If the water ever goes into my basement, they will have more problems than just the incorrect installation of the gutter. I will continue to update this review until the problem is made right.I sent the below email to Window World after they installed soffits, facia and gutters at my home. I have not heard anything from them and when I called, I was told that they will be at my home to repair the incorrect installation on Friday 7/13. I was not surprised when they again did not show up. I was told that the manager will call me, no phone calls. I regret using this company. I am contacting BBB to find out what my options are in getting a resolution to this problem.Dear Window World,It took me more than a week to write this email because of my frustration with how your people installed the facia, soffit and new gutters at my home. Other than the no show of your installers, you also changed the installation schedule with no regard for your clients. Your customer service was rude and uncaring and hang up the phone because they did not want to deal with a frustrated client.The worst part is that I have lost faith in your company due to several reasons:1. We paid for the facia boards to be replaced and your installers did not replace the facia boards. All they did was cover the old boards. When we asked, they did not know anything about it. So now, the old facia boards are still there only covered by the siding that was installed.2. The installation of the gutters were incorrect. See attached pictures. The gutter at the back of the house and the front of the house were installed incorrectly so that water was gushing out. The installers also did not use any type of adaptor to the gutters to make it fit into the current drainage. My husband was able to fix the gutter at the front of the house that was also installed incorrectly.3. There is a gap between the gutter and the wall at the back of the house that also need to be fixed.4 Installation of the gutter guard was incorrect whereby one of the covers broke and flew during the storm. This cover as shown in the picture need to be re-installed.The installation performed by your installers was extremely disappointing and unprofessional. Please have someone come back and fix the job as soon as possible. I will appreciate hearing from someone with a schedule when the gutters will be fixed.

Window World of Washington DC (WWDC) installed all of the windows at my home in July 2021. On the same day, I emailed WWDC about their mistakes and Greg P. ensured me that the company would fix the issues. The issues are the following: windows installed improperly, uneven borders/frames, lack of caulking, cold air entering through window frames during the winter, and more. Please see the pictures for proof. On September 20, 2021, Greg P. stated, "I will get with my team and make sure this is handled properly and as soon as possible" and "We will all help to ensure we get these issues resolved." As of June 8, 2022, the company has yet to fulfill its obligations. I emailed WWDC several times but received no response. One of my favorite quotes from Greg P. is, "I can assure you nobody is avoiding anything."Update: As of 6/24/2022, WWDC sent a reliable person to fix the outstanding issues on the spot. This is a second time that i have been asking to replace my windows. It's the same issue that happened, between the glass look like their have mold in it! I asking them from last year 2021 around September, after that they sent someone came to measure the windows and said about 1-2 months, but they will send an email to confirm. We didn't their email until around October we call back to them they said will check for us. November we call back again they said they forgot to order the windows. And now February 2022 no one call or contact about my replacement windows. I kept call them back every 2 business days as they said in about 48 hrs someone will contact me!!! I have been calling them the whole month and I also call their corporate. The corporate said they will contact the owener of DC area and now still no one call me back. They treat me like I installed their windows for free!! To the company if you think you can't make a good after service please tell the client first and don't give the life warranty. !!!!Services: Window installation, Window repair

Years ago, Window World installed windows at my childhood home and we loved the service that we received. Now that I’m an adult and a homeowner myself, I chose Window World to replace the windows at my residence. They do an excellent job. The guys that came to do the installation were very professional, friendly, and they put the windows in a quick and efficient manner. I would recommend Window World to any of my friends and/or neighbors who are looking to replace their windows. Keep up the good work, you guys!

Bruno, our lead installer for our job, along with his team member have been on-time, very polite, hard working, and their attention to detail has been stellar. Signed contract for siding, facia and replacement boards as needed to make outside maintainance free in January 2021. Finally installed August 4th with many months of no contact.First photo February 7, 2022, second photo March 7, 2022. As of April 16th I have no resolution just a text saying they would contact maintenance.Reached out to corporate office in NC and I still can't get a date for repairs or a phone call.Obviously, no wood was replaced and they just covered it so I wouldn't have known if it didn't start coming off house.

Was recommended this company from a family member who uses them in FL for construction sites after getting ridiculous quotes from competitors here in NoVA. A 1/3 of the price and amazing quality. Team was on time and extremely professional. One window cam ein broke but they patched window and the new window arrived 3 weeks later. No big deal - things happen in shipment. We also did some trim around the windows and replaced a lot of the wood with metal coverings. Such a great company. The one and only question I asked myself when I decided to replace the builder grade windows on my 13.5 year old house: Should I go through Lowe's, Home Depot, Contractor or Window World? The answer was simple. There is only one of these businesses that specializes in windows. From the beginning to the end, I couldn't be more pleased. Four guys replaced 24 windows in one day. I watched as many windows being installed as I could. What impressed me the most is that each of the four could perform every single task. I think I was most amazed while watching the windows being trimmed out. A-1 all the way. I highly recommend this company. Here's what I chose. Series 4000 with Low E glass and grids. The noise reduction for the outside traffic has been cut in half and I can only imagine the energy savings I will receive. To top things off, the energy rating on these windows will allow you to take a tax credit if this is still available. Lastly, another thing to think about and that is the warranty after the sale. Window World stands behind their windows, 100% with a transferable warranty. Who else offers this? Thank you Window World and thank you Josue and crew for the superb installation.

Window World came highly recommended and my experience was quite the opposite. A window was installed damaged, the installers damaged drywall and window trim in my home, left caulk on my carpet, debris in the yard and spills in my garage. It took months to get the damaged window repaired. No one would respond to phone calls, emails or even a visit to the physical office. Scheduled appointments were usually no shows. Worst (or should I say zero) customer service I have ever experienced. Would NOT recommend!!!Services: General door installation, Window installation

We had Window World, Chantilly replaced all of our windows back in 2020, since then we experience our first issue in 2021 with one of our windows, where there was a leakage. We called and had them repair it. During yesterday’s storm the leakage happened again from the same window.There customer service is one the worst customer services I’ve experienced. We called to have someone repair the issue and we kept getting the run around. Contacted corporate and they kept referring us to their local office which did nothing for us. We contacted them on Thursday afternoon, after many calls they finally had someone call us back on Friday afternoon to schedule Someone to be here on Monday. Meanwhile we were told to do whatever we can to obstruct the water from coming in to our home. They only cared to do the job, once completed they don’t want to own any issues that may arise from their poor installation. Don’t count on them for their lifetime warranty is not true. Their sales department is very quick to respond but when it comes to resolving issues is always someone else’s fault. The worst feeling a customer can experience is to feel helpless and that’s how we feel. We’re pretty much at their mercy, that’s exactly how Elias Barrientos ( Installation Manager) made my husband feel when he said is up to us to see what we do to resolve the issue while we wait for them to come on Monday. I really don’t like to write reviews but I really feel people should know how a company reacts to their clients needs they’re happy to take your money when you’re buying their goods and services but their not willing to take ownership when their clients have an issue. Everyone was professional and friendly and cleaned up after they were done. We replaced 26 windows and a French Door. I purchased 17 windows from Window World during the COVID-19 pandemic and the windows were installed quickly; however, one of the workers accidently broke a window which was taped up and installed until a new window could be ordered. I have called religiously to determine when the replacement window will arrive. To date, June 11, 2020, the replacement has not yet arrived. I called last week and one of the workers advised me to call on Saturday to check and see if my window came in on the Friday truck, so I did. When I spoke to the operator on Saturday, she explained that Window World was closed on Saturday's and she would take my info and have someone call me back next week. (Note: It has taken longer to get 1 replacement window than to buy 17). I called because no one from the company did, and was told my window finally arrived and someone would be calling me soon. Moral of the story, Window World is quick to take your money but when problems occur they are not customer friendly. This leaves me to wonder what type of response I will encounter if I ever need to call them for a warranty issue.Update: my replacement window was installed today (June 12, 2020) with no other issues. To be clear, this post is simply to provide buyers with my experience. I will always give credit where it is due. Cost for the windows were reasonable; my concern was the poor customer service and unresponsiveness when issues occurred.All the best!Service: Window installation

No sale tactics, no lengthy 90 minutes sale tricks, no push to sign the contract, and finally no special rate if signed in 15 minutes. Some companies ask the home owner and spouse present during boring 90 minutes presentation. Window world sales person is very professional and gave options and proposals and left. Scam business, windows don’t last more than 7 years when you ask for a replacement they ask for a deposit and make you wait as long as one year, after many calls they never get the job done. We placed a deposit for siding and bay window wrap in April 2023, and told it would be 2-3 months before installation. It's 3 months today, and we haven't heard ANYTHING from Window World. I've made several calls, only to be told someone will get back to me. Still nothing. We've used WW twice in the past and were pleased with the experience. This project ends the good run.
