After getting several estimates on a stamped concrete patio, I decided to move forward with Blackwater Designer Concrete because they could get to my project quicker than the others. I was originally given an assurance of the job being started in July, but that didn't come to pass and I expressed my disappointment and frustration. I was immediately contacted by the salesperson, Jason. After talking things over, he "made things right" by me. Within the week, there was a crew at my home laboring in the hot August sun. From the prep work, to the concrete pour, to the stamping, staining and sealing -- everything that was done was done with precision, professionalism and perfection. Two year old drive and stamped patio 24k.Cracks across patio, steps not slopped to dischargewater. Stamped concrete not uniform from one level to other. I said something to field manager and he said " You are to picky" Yes and I have a right to be picky, to the time of 24k.All it would have taken was a damn string line or maybe a tape measure.??I have been in the construction field for over 55 years, be careful who you choose, get reference from prior client and do your homework. A year ago this July we had Blackwater do a very large patio around our pool. The men who did the work and also the project manager were great to work with and initially everything looked great and we were very pleased. However, it didn’t take long for the stain began to wear off in blotches. In other work we have had done the stain was mixed in with the concrete and there was never a problem, however, this stain was put on top of the concrete. They have returned twice to try and rectify the problem, however, with no success. Now after the winter months it looks worse than ever. I have called for the owner to return my call as we want this problem taken care of immediately so as not to disrupt another summer at our vacation home. I can’t imagine that this is the method they always use or others would also have this problem. We shouldn’t be having this problem with a $16,000 patio.

Blackwater Concrete poured our stamped concrete patio. Unfortunately the slope of the concrete did not meet normal construction standards, i.e., your car keys or your drink would slide off our picnic table. They failed to tell us about this slope prior to pouring. The new patio looked like a ramp instead of a patio and was completely unusable. Their only resolution to make us happy customers was to charge us an additional $8,000.00 to repair it. We are very unhappy customers and we had to bring in a new concrete company to jack hammer up our brand new patio and then re-pour a proper concrete patio.We DO NOT RECCOMMEND Blackwater Concrete.

Dropped by the house to look at the yard to give me an estimate and left a brochure because he thought nobody was home.Unfortunately my wife was actually there in the front room and since he didn't bother to ring the doorbell she didn't get to talk to him.Since Jim didn't bother to even try to find out if somebody was home we went with another company.

Blackwater Concrete replaced our entire front walk and porch that were falling apart. We are thrilled with the results. Jim was more than accommodating every time we spoke, responsive to e-mails and up front on time line. They are very busy and it took some time from contracting to job time but we knew that going in.
