Big wind. Bad roof damage. Who to call when nearly every contractor you've ever dealt with has caused you nothing but aggravation?We don't expect perfection from our contractors, just good communication, reasonable punctuality, a semblance of professionalism & at least the presumption that we are not idiots. Furthermore, we can't possibly be the only ones who tire of contractors & service people who seem set on being your best friend. We don't want to chat things up, hear your life story & wallow through anecdotes. We just want to see the work done, pay the money, and shut the door. Is that too much to ask? Well, apparently it is - way too much. Nonetheless Feathers Roofing came through w/shining grace.Feathers & crew arrived on time, went straight to work, got it done quick, got it done right, charged us a reasonable fee, and left.We couldn't be more pleased with their service & we definitely recommend Feathers Roofing to anyone w/high expectations.

Came to look at the job when he said, which is why I'm giving 2 stars instead of none. Said would get back to me with an estimate soon and could probably do the roof the following weekend. (10 days later, which was great.) I've called 3 times, leaving details each time, and have had no response. If they can't do the job, or have decided not to, they should have had the courtesy of letting me know. So 10 days later, and I now have to find someone else. I'd heard good things about them, but I'm very disappointed in them. And yes, a little angry.

My mother in law had her roof done about 8 years ago. There were no issues with leaking before. We thought they did a good job until the roof recently started warping and the shingles needed to be fixed in a spot. She called to get it fixed since she had a 30 year warranty and the lady on the phone was very rude. She dismissed everything and said it wasn't their fault. She claimed that they had no record of them and they wouldn't do anything to fix it. It was obviously a flaw with how the shingles were put on or the board underneath the one spot would not have warped. I am appalled that this company would treat my sweet mother in law like this.
