I'm very pleased. I got multiple quotes for both my 100 year old main house roof and full garage roof repair down to the rafters. The price was very very competitive accompanied with a very detailed quote. The crew was very communicative and knowledgeable and worked their tails off. I know because my wife stalked them, being excited to have work done on the house but also nervous at what they may find with the age of our house. They answered all her questions and put her nerves at ease and were very kind. I had a deadline I needed met with this repair and this company was more than accommodating. The cleanup afterwards was tremendous also. They truly take every extra step to relieve the area of nails and debris. Oh, and they were also very accommodating to my free range chickens. I have already recommended this company to a work friend and will gladly pass their name along in the future. The before and after is astonishing.

Clean up was an on going process during roof installation. The owner, Chris, was easy to work with and explained what would be done. After the roof installed, he came and did a walk through to make sure everything was done correctly and completely. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to family and friends.

I had my roof replaced by this company and I am very satisfied with the entire process. My initial contact with their office was polite and professional as well as the process of getting an estimate. They answered all my questions and was able to quickly schedule the work to begin. When the crew arrived they moved like a well oiled machine! Everyone knew their role and they had everything done and cleaned up before I even got off work. Even had someone come follow up with me and my husband to make sure we were satisfied. I needed new facia and guttering around my house and I picked Witt Roofing to do the work. I am very glad I did. The work and attention to detail by Josh and his team from the gutter division is exemplary and the team should be proud of themselves. There is no zipping down with a nail gun as fast as you can. Every nail put in by hand and perfectly symmetrical. The result looks very professional. Chris attended the original meeting on time and provided a well laid out quotation in a timely manner and the office staff kept me informed of progress.All in all, a well-run and professional company. I would not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends and it cannot get better than that.

After a hurricane paid us a visit in late September of 2022, our roof needed repairs. Researched, contacted, met with four roofing companies, I knew while meeting with Chris I was positive I was going to hire Walter D. Witt Roofing Company to take care of the roof repairs. After he inspected, he then provided a very detailed explanation of what he determined needed repaired. Based on the the other estimates, Chris was going to be doing the most work, including installing a chimney cricket (it’s the “Service Not Listed” above) at our request and his estimate was the most reasonable, which was a very nice surprise. Plus the difference between meeting with him and others is definitely night and day! Also, I didn’t have to beg to receive proof he was licensed and insured. When he sent his very detailed estimate which was easy to understand, formatted, read in order which made it easy to understand exactly what he was doing as well as the cost, as it should. He included his certificate of insurance and his license and I hadn’t asked for either yet. Once the work began, his team worked efficiently, effectively, nonstop and finished earlier than expected due to the phenomenal work ethic each showed. My roof looked amazing especially considering how it looked previously. I never imagined there'd be the amount of debris I saw but they did an amazing job at cleaning it up. Definitely in my opinion put the effort into cleaning up as they put in their work and from what I’ve experienced when it comes to cleaning up, once a contractor has finished, I’m always cleaning up the obvious things missed. It’s the big picture for any contractor and most don’t consider cleaning up as seriously as the job you hired them to do and that’s a huge mistake because it’s absolutely part of the job and in my opinion it’s a critical part.Chris and his team were/are knowledgeable, transparent, courteous, dependable, respectful to me, of my property, honest, trustworthy and kept in contact with me when necessary. It’s easy to make mistakes if you’re not communicating. Communication is absolutely key! Chris knows this or he wouldn’t conduct business as he does, staying in contact with his customers when necessary.Thank you for being dedicated to doing the best job you possibly can to continue to grow your business by actually caring about the quality of work you do for your customers, not rushing in order to make it to your next job and that’s when mistakes are made which you proved to me that’s not even close to how you conduct yourself and your business. Thank you for being transparent, honest, trustworthy and treating your customers and their property with respect!Also, those reading this review, we’d been saving for gutters, had two estimates & then the roof happened along with additional repair work from the hurricane. Those who know me, know I’m over the top picky about everything. I research extensively, not afraid to ask questions, that’s how you learn plus when you’re listening to the answers provided you learn a lot by how they reply. Then compare it to the others you meet with, it’s a great way to weed through contractors. That’s one area I feel most don’t do enough of, ask questions. Ensure YOU understand what you’re being told because in the end you’re paying for the work being performed & you worked hard for the money!I can honestly say I’ve never been more pleased with the outcome of the work performed by Walter D. Witt Roofing & should I need roofing services again, it’s a no brainer as to who I’ll be calling. Excited for my new gutters! Had roof on house and side porch replaced. Also had Two whirly birds vents and chimney removed, the Witt roofers did an excellent job. Was very pleased with the clean up after work was completed. I called Chris and asked if he could come and look at a concern I have, but he has not responded yet.

It was a blessing and phenomenal experience with getting my roof from Walter D. Witt. Before I found them, I almost went with another company. There were multiple red flags.  I was a total wreck, and felt distressed because of my previous experience. I learned about Walter D. Witt roofing after a friend had a great experience with them. Chris was amazing! He was very professional, kind and calm with helping me understand everything. Chris, I can never express how appreciative I am of everything you did for me. If I could give more stars, I would! I had my roof replaced and added vinyl siding, new gutters and gutter guards. The whole experience was wonderful - from the initial meeting to the final check at completion. Crews showed up on time each day, cleaned the area before leaving and did top notch work. As a woman seeking contractors, it can be challenging. I felt informed at every step of this process and never felt like things were being man-splained. Don’t hesitate to contact DeWitt!

New roof looks great, and gutter guards will keep me off the ladder!!! Just had a new roof put on my parent's home in Sutherland. The estimate was seemless and informative. I was kept informed from the time the estimate was signed all the way thru completion. Chris (owner) contacted me from the job site to let me know there was an issue with the plywood once they tore off the existing shingles and what would need to be done. I had also asked about possible wood rot behind the gutters and the day after the roof was completed a team of 2 came out and took care of that as well. Everyone involved with this project was very professional. I would highly recommend this business for all your roofing needs.

Chris shared his knowledge, showed me why my porch roof was leaking and damaging the porch ceiling. He is very professional and friendly. He earned my trust and I will use him again. I trust his skills and believe him to be superior to other companies I have used. Another roofing company was not able to diagnose the problem and thus my porch roof continued to have a slow leak with my porch ceiling being damaged over time. Glad I found them. Due to the slope of the roof I needed special shingles to this area of my roof. He was able to replace and fix this area of my roof. No more leaking. I'm Happy

While sitting in the sunroom one day, I noticed a stain on the ceiling and traced it back to our skylight. I did a Google search for reputable Skylight repair companies and Walter D Witt came up. Given their high ratings, I requested a quote and they came promptly to diagnose our issue. Joshua was thorough and explained what the problem was. He promptly sent over an estimate (including photos) and a a price I thought was reasonable (we did not get other quotes). We proceed with the 50% deposit and were given a date.The work was done within the estimated time and was done well. We received a follow up email with pictures of the finished job.When we need to replace our roof (which will be some time to come), we will definitely give them a call.

We got a lower bid, but we decided to go with this company because we trust the owner. He doesn't cut corners in order to save money. He had done work for us before, repairing the old roof to get a few more years out of it. on October 30th Chris stop by my resident to give me a quote on installing new shingles due to some leaks. of all the quotes I received Chris comes with no pressure, before Walter D Witt roofing, I had several quotes. Chris gave me a portfolio with all the choices of color for the roof. I accept the quote two days after. with a date of 11/8/2023 to start the job. his crew was here very early and completed the job that day. Chris was friendly and a Christian of faith. when his crew was finish, they cleaned up very well. thanks for a job well done. he was recommended to me by my Neighbour.
