Window World replaced thirteen 100 year old windows in just one day! They were professional, extremely knowledgeable, and efficient. They verified a couple of times to ensure they replaced the right windows. One worker even had me double check to ensure one of the windows he was replacing was the right one. I’m glad he did, because that was one of the windows he wasn’t supposed to replace. The windows all fit perfectly in our 200 year old house and what a difference it makes in utility costs, noise reduction, and pest control!

Very pleased with the level of service and quickness of the whole process. Brad came out to do the estimate and within 1 1/2 weeks , we were called to have measurements done and about 4 weeks later, install was complete. The fella that installed worked solo that day and was very quick but attentive to detail and cleaned any mess that was created as he went. When he left that day, you would not have known that anything had been done since there was no mess, except beautiful new windows. Very happy with the entire process! Service and price was exceptional.

I signed contracts for a new shingle roof, vinyl siding, all new windows and doors, and gutters. Terrible communication on the part of the project manager and he was also very rude. Contractors didn’t show up when scheduled and really didn’t do a great job. I had to request them come back multiple times to fix things that were done - for example, bubbled siding, missing sections of siding, and sloppy work. A contractor installed gutter underneath of a covered porch. The contractors tried to up-charge me for small things they said needed to be done before installing windows and doors. The siding was still installed incorrectly because according to the manufacturer, holes were to be drilled at regular intervals in the bottom channel because it is a vertical install (board and batten.) I have had to fix a lot of these things myself. I also have video proof that the contractors took 7 unopened boxes of siding from my property and I never received the siding or a refund. My siding contract specifically shows that I paid for 20 boxes. It only took 13 to cover my home. I sent all video proof and a request to the salesman to get the siding back and I was told later that they only had two boxes of siding left over from my home. When I pushed and inquired further, the salesman informed me that my complaint was in the hands of someone else and I was given a contact number. I’ve left multiple voicemails and sent multiple emails but all have gone unanswered. I still have not received the siding that I PAID FOR or a refund for what was taken. The stolen siding amounts to over $3,000. Shadiest company you will ever work with. They promise a lot and produce very little. Save your money, time, and sanity and steer clear. BEWARE! The photos included are after the windows were installed. I have a lot more of damage and poor quality windows that were installed.I have asked repeatedly for a manager to come out and they refused. Took 6 months for installers to come, then they forgot my largest window. Took another 3 weeks to get that one installed. When they came they looked at the window and told me they couldn't install it. After several phone calls they found one more guy and got it up.-Installation: poor quality, mess everywhere, caulk lines are a mess, damage to door insulation, more-windows: several have damage from installed, one is missing seal, very rough finish.Hoping this will direct others to different location. I know others have had good luck with other locations.

Do not give this company your money. Their communication is horrible and it seems to be completely random whether the crew you get is competent or not. They'll get the windows installed, but the more you look at the details the more you'll see mediocre finishing work.When they replaced all my windows and exterior doors they told me they didn't have the patio door yet, some mixup, I said okay just install it when it comes in. When it arrived they sent two kids to install it. They did unnecessary damage to the drywall, didn't bring replacement trim to account for a pad out they knew they had to do, did an awful job caulking, and then I discovered pieces of the patio door were actually broken.It has been months and the issues have not been fixed despite many emails, phone calls, and pictures I've sent them. And I have to reach out every time. They never actually give me an update.I never leave online reviews but my experience with this company has been so awful I had to. All comments can be backed by emails, voicemails and screenshots. Feel free to reach out to me for any information. Hopefully this review helps other avoid using Window World of Winchester. The initial measurement went well. Everything was downhill from there. The Winchester manager Angel treating to make me eat my contract. This is after him realizing what he was quoting was actually not on the contract. To make the first payment I had to jump through hoops. I called the Winchester location twice with no response. I called the 1-800 number and was given the contact to the Chantilly, VA location. They were unable to help me but on the fourth try I reached Caprice and my payment was taken. There was a long delay between signing the contract and the remeasure. I had to call about this to get it scheduled. I was told 6-8 from the October meeting. By February things got worse. I was promised by the regional manager Eric that he would handle any further communication and that a crew from outside of Winchester would do the install. Eric said the contract stated we need to start the install within a certain amount of days. No one could show me where in the contract. I reached out to Fairfax county to try and set up a meeting. Window worlds contracts list them for mediation. I was not a resident of Fairfax county and was told to try WV business affairs and given a number. I was then referred to Winchester-Frederick county where the business is located. After going round and round there I decided to move forward with the install. Eric had promised a different crew and financial compensation. On the day of the install Angel became the voice of reason after Eric became irate and was trying to instigate a fight. I wanted to meet to discuss the emails, contract and calls. He made the comment about meeting to fight. At the beginning of this I did as to speak to the owner. Eric refused and said he was the highest level I would talk to. Out of characters to finish. The installers are great

Window World of Winchester did a fantastic job on our windows. They arrived when they said they would and got all 16 windows replaced in less than 8 hours. The windows look great and we can tell the difference already. The crew was fantastic as well, they kept me informed every step of the way and when they left there was no trace that they were even there.I would highly recommend them if you are in the market for new windows.

My house has about 30 windows, and WW just completed 8 of them for me. They were polite, professional, on time, and did a fantastic job. All the trim on the exterior of my house looks great (4k+ sf colonial in upscale neighborhood) and so does the caulk job inside. I plan to use WW again for the rest of my window replacements!

From estimate to install even with the whole Covid backlog issues the whole experience was seamless. One window has broken glass but it was replaced quickly. Great service.

This was our third time using Window World in Winchester. This time we had siding done also. We we're told that they would be here at the end of August. If we hadn't called them a week before the installation date we would of never known they weren't coming. We were then told to call back in a few weeks to get a drop date. We were then told it would be the end of October. Finally we the siding was delivered and they said they would start within 3 days of the siding being delivered. Almost 2 weeks later their contractor shows up to work. With in a few weeks all the siding was bubbling, it took them a few more weeks to come out and fix it. Attached is 2 pictures of how it looks after they fixed it . I sent an email to the company and calls to the sales men, nothing has been done . They just seem to have an I don't care attitude about them. Never againService: Window installation

Window World was professional from the first call for service and a quote to the moment the techs left. Their price came in in the middle of the four bids I got but the service, timing for install, and quality of the product and warranty pushed me to choose them. Brandon (in sales) answered all of my questions and explained the process thoroughly. Window World provides great quality products. I had my entire house siding replaced, windows replaced, gutters replaced, and all exterior doors in my single family home. The door and window replacement was completed satisfactory with good subcontractors. The siding installation which included finishing the trim around the windows was done with a lack of attention to detail. The finishing details to include the caulking was not done with care and had to be redone in certain areas. The crews sometimes include one person and seemed to rush the finishing touches. As with any job, the finishing details make the difference.One thing to note if you get siding installed, they will remove your exterior lights but will not replace them, something the salesman did not mention. They even lost my mounting hardware for the lights and I was left going to get parts to reinstall.All in all, we are now happy, just keep an eye on the subcontractors and ensure you are satisfied with the quality before they leave the jobsite.Services: General door installation, Double pane window installation & replacement

I'm happy with the windows and installation. But the workers need to learn to clean up after themselves. I've found Screws and pieces of the Aluminum that they used around the windows everywhere even in the middle of my bushes. I asked they to be very careful with this material because of my dogs. I've found over 30 pieces in various sizes. They left a mess in my garage, laundry room and bedroom in basement where the took the small windows out of the cement block also. They need to learn about flowers. I even showed them the flowers with bloom in them. The one which didn't speak English just trampled them. I figured out what was wrong with the one basement window that the one who could speak English told me I'd have to live with it like that. You may also want to consider having Window World signage on the vehicles that come to install the windows. Neighbors and others could of got information off the vehicle.Service: Window installation

Window World did a good job. I was not made aware of the efficiency of the windows. I thought it would be better. After the job was done the guys asked me to sign off saying they cleaned up, but after the fact I realized they did not do a good job cleaning. They left pieces in the yard and inside the house. It was all dusty where they worked. Never got a call afterwards to see how everything was. They are good windows. Just wish they would’ve told me what the efficiency of the windows were. We've had 9 total windows replaced. The crews were professional but lacked in cleaning up after themselves. There is some spray from on the vinyl of the window that I'll have to get off somehow and the interior trim has about an 1/8 inch gap where a correct miter cut would've fixed but they choose to try and pull the trim and throw a few extra nails in that didn't hold. Other than that I have no other complaints.Service: Window installation

We purchased windows here and I need to warn others who are considering buying windows:• The guy who measured for our window order was very friendly, however he did not order frosted glass for the bathroom window.• Installers did not speak English and were not friendly. They rushed through the install, in my opinion.• Our new windows were not caulked well. It’s now a couple years out and we will have to re-caulk several of the windows.

We just received our new windows and WOW they are amazing. We have so much more light! Cameron was our sales guy and he came in and gave us a great recommendation for the house. He was very professional and on top of the entire process. The team who came out to install the windows were kind and clean. They went in so fast. All 9 of our windows were in before 1pm. What a great experience! We highly recommend them.

Window world did a great job – very responsive, excellent service. A really great value. The new windows look great and are working great. The crew was fast and did the job well. They replaced over 13 windows in a day! I’m very happy with the look of the windows and their performance. Are used to have a lot of drafts – those drafts are gone the windows look good from the inside and the outside. They used good quality materials and encased the outside of the windows with metal trim which looks really good. We have an a stork property and I feel like these windows look good – at least as good as any new window could.
