We love our new roof! Bart Howerton and his crew did a wonderful job! We have never before seen such thorough preparation! Prior to removing the old shingles, Bart and crew installed plywood and tarps all around our house to protect our house and shrubs and to facilitate cleanup. They replaced a rotted pipe collar and stopped the water from dripping down to my ceiling and potentially destroying the drywall. Howerton Roofing and Construction completed a roofing job on a house and detached garage for me in December 2019. I found Mr. Howerton to be straightforward and attentive to the work throughout the entire process. He explained the work throughly and supervised his workers at regular intervals each day. The materials used were of a quality nature and the preparatory work prior to applying shingles was good. Care was taken to protect the grounds around the buildings and cleanup was through. I would highly recommend his company to others for any roofing needs.

Job: full replacement of 23 yr old roof w/ bump-out skylight replacementProject time: 2 1/2 days on 2700 sq ft houseHowerton Roofing, in my opinion, is the gold standard in roofing. Bart is professional, detail oriented, and knows his business inside and out. He was spot on what my insurance adjuster estimated for my claim after significant 4/2020 hail damage. Bart goes above and beyond to make sure you know every detail of the job and treats your home as if it is his own. The crew arrived just before 7 every morning and were rolling by 730. They stayed late and even made sure their work was protected at night from potential frost. The crew was careful to protect the home, the decking, driveway, the bushes/shrubs, and my grass. He personally offered to help put stuff back in place on my deck rolled my yard for any potential nails that got away. I am sure few gotta away given my yard and driveway were tarped.Bart is the type of guy where a handshake is his word and as good as a contract in black and white.
