As a second time customer, I knew I was getting a quality build and the company drew plans to suit my preferences as a custom home. I am very happy with the job that Graystone Homes has done. My wife and I had Graystone build us a house and after more than 14 years it is absolutely the finest home we have ever had. From design to the completed home, Graystone made the experience great! They’re eye for detail and quality work is second to none! I have known people who have had their homes built by other companies and they all say the same thing “I wish I would have had Graystone build my home!” I have had several houses built for me in the past but none of them can compare to the home we have now. I can honestly say without a doubt that our home now is the first home I’ve had that felt like home from day1.When we first met Anthony and Linda (and everyone else) we not only found the best builder but new friends!!!Thanks again Graystone for the great job!!!

Graystone Homes is a wonderful company to work with. They built me a beautiful home, one that exceeded all my expectations. Even though the home they built for me was probably one of the smallest ones they’ve ever built I was treated like royalty, treated like family. Linda, Anthony, Tony and Stephanie (not to mention everyone else) truly cares about their clients and they make sure the homes they build are of the finest quality. I feel extremely lucky I found them and I can’t imagine a better experience. If you are looking for a builder that doesn’t cut corners, listens to you and guides you through the entire process Graystone is for you. Oh and they build Green!! Graystone Homes built our home in 2019. They were a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process. Anthony sat with us initially and asked questions about what we wanted and didn't want, including our budget requirements. He had a number of designs to choose from, but we ended up starting with a design and customizing the layout. We worked with them every step of the way picking out fixtures, cabinets, lighting, colors, carpet etc. We even chose a reclaimed beam and had it cut down for a mantle. Once we moved in, they were always prompt in answering any questions we had, or addressing the couple of minor issues that we had. We are very happy with our home and would highly recommend Graystone Homes.

Anthony, Linda and Tony were absolutely outstanding and a pleasure to work with. Anthony is a straight shooter and made sure I knew everything I needed upfront. This is the first house I have had built, and he was able to keep me leveled and within budget. Linda made every effort to work with me on times and once we started the selection process, she kept me up to date and was even offering me ideas and options I hadn't even considered. Tony is a hard charger. He was always on the ball and guided the construction superbly!My Parents and my brother also had their homes built by Graystone, and all of us are supremely happy with the results across 20 years. Highly reccomend!

They started with our basic drawings and went over them in detail with us, then guided us through the selections process, providing invaluable recommendations to make our home more beautiful and functional than we could have imagined. We contracted with Graystone for design and construction of our new 26,000 sq. ft. office headquarters in Culpeper. Anthony and Conrad were involved in the initial design and materials selection as the design evolved from simple ideas to complete plans. Once we had site approval they oversaw site development and construction of the building. We had some challenges along the way which Graystone managed well. One of the important parts of this project was to ensure that the construction process and the end result was consistent with our desire to use sustainable products and end up with a site and building that is efficient, environmentally friendly and beautiful. I believe we met all three goals. We have a very energy efficient building, a staff friendly work environment and a gorgeous building to look at. We could not be more please with the end result. At all times Anthony and Conrad were very cooperative, collaborative and offered expert advice that made sense. We were very pleased with the experience of working with Graystone. The whole Graystone Group is a joy to work with. They helped with the lot selection to the finished home with us. Anthony is very knowledgeable builder and a Straight Shooter. No gimmicks with this man. We needed confidence the job would be done right as we were building our retirement home but living in another state 6 hours away. We would have very limited chances to visiting the homesite as the home was being built. We love our home and appreciate and value the expertise in the designing and construction. I'm writing this in 100 degree weather and we are amazed how cool the house remains and as a bonus are electric bill is less than half as our old house. We had our first home designed and built by Anthony Clatterbuck and Graystone Homes in 2016.On our little peace of heaven in Culpeper, Virginia, was built a beautiful colonial. On our journey, Anthony was there every step of the way, educating and advising us, along with his fabulous staff. He was always available to answer our questions of which we had many. Lest I forget to say, they all had patience.Our home is beautiful. He is a builder who has much pride in his craft. We would highly recommend Graystone Homes to anyone who is considering a custom home or an addition to their existing home.No question that quality is their middle name.

Graystone built our home in 2014. Great experience. From the start my husband and the builder (Anthony Clatterbuck) saw eye to eye on everything, so I knew we were in business! They build smartly and efficiently and did their best to help us stay on budget without cutting corners. They WILL work with you on custom odd projects, like a 22K masonry heater (including foundation). They use cellulose insulation in most of the home, or all if you wanted (not usually necessary in the basement. We live on the edge of a flood plane so they used a special product around the basement and house at our request to protect the home. I could go on and on. Our house was built over all the major holidays from October to February, and there was not a working day that went by that Tony our super didn't have someone working on it. We know because our neighbors sent us daily updates! We love our home. Stephanie is a gem, she filled out the paperwork to get our construction loan company approved in very fast time. (Union Bank by the way, really great also. I recommend Lynn Blatt there.) Linda clatterbuck went with us to the offsite area for the kitchen, living room (carpet) and bathroom piece selections. She really spent all the time with us. I should mention that I was pregnant during the entire build and our baby was 9 weeks old when we moved. They really worked to finish our build in a timely manner! Thank you Graystone!
