I am glad to share My experience with Michael Nash design and build.We are living in Springfield Fairfax Virginia.We received Michael Nash design and build advertising by mail.I searched online and looked for their website .Then we called them and arranged Virtual Meeting.We had unfinished basement which was so small.And I decided to ask my brother and his family to settle in our house while their house in California was being ready. I sent them some pictures and documents and explained my goals.So Sonny called me and surprised me by his offers .We together decided to extend one side the house and move the garage to the other side of the house . So Sam their master designer sent us the plan .In this plan we extended basement , main floor and second floor .Their plan approved and we received approval from county shortly.Then we sat meetings with tony the other designer and selected all materials one by one .We started this remodeling by end of February and the job finished week ago , on time and well managed. My brother and his family moved to Virginia and their remodeling started in California. we start doing punch list which is take one month.We can not be happy more than this , specially we are spending time with my family.My neighbor saw their finished job and amazed, they signed contracts with them and they are about finishing their remodeling.Definitely highly recommend great Michael Nash company.Special thanks and all respect for Sonny who supported and supporting us to Finish the job.We just bought another house in Fairfax station and signed new contract with them.

I had great experience with Michael Nash design and build for my custom new home although it took longer than expected. They provide a full range of services including a Strong design and construction team. Michael Nash has own design architect and interior designer . This saves you a lot of hassle and a lot of time during the construction period.For a price advantage for custom new home customers without hassle and prices are very reasonable compared to outer builders who asking for sky- high prices.Michael Nash provide three packages to new custom home customers1) Economy home package for budgeting customer2)Dream home package for Desired home customers3) Premium and Luxury package for providing ultimately design concept and building material. I chose the premium package.. the advantage of this one is that you can choose the configuration design and material you want without hassleSonny is CEO & FOUNDER and soul of Michael & Nash .As long as you tell him your own design ideas. He will draw plans for you through his own in-house architect.Another advantage is that they have their own 75 employees to do all the work. so the quality is guaranteed for consumers. but many other builders hired subcontractors . although the speed is faster. Micheal Nash performed a kitchen and family room remodel for us. Their design was by far the best of several companies we considered. They did an excellent job in transforming our kitchen and family room. When problems occurred, they resolved all the issues to our satisfaction. Michael Nash remodeled our bathrooms and kitchen a number of years ago. When the Microwave over the stove broke and was not repairable, and we found out 36" microwaves no longer exist, Michael Nash saved the day! We provided the new microwave and paneling, and they came and removed the old one, installed the new one, put in the new paneling, and it looks like it was always there - all done at their expense as part of their lifelong customer service! So appreciative because we really didn't know what to do and we did not want to replace the kitchen cabinets! Thank you Michael Nash!!

We just recently moved into our new dream house (April 14, 2021), we spent a couple of months and visited over 40 houses, all of the sudden we came across this house.At first glance the kitchen with contemporary style was stunning and that was the main drive to hunt this house!Everything is made with the highest quality with the high-end appliances.The seller was also kind enough to share their great experience with Michael Nash and recommended them for any upcoming projects and support as well.After moving in, I found a very minor issue with the hinges and contacted Michael Nash to see if that can be fixed.Immediately after contacting Michael Nash, with their amazing customer service and support team, the issue was addressed, and I am very happy and satisfied with my lovely kitchen and outstanding service to the new owner!Service: Remodeling

Approximately 10 years ago, Michael Nash renovated our master bathroom for $50,000. The results were wonderful and I was told that our bathroom won a design award. That was the good news. I believe the warranty period was 5 years and the following problems occurred after the warranty was over. The tile floor in the shower leaked and had to be replaced ($5,825), redoing the floor required redoing the glass shower enclosure ($1,545), plumber to replace pipe to shower head because of slow leak behind the drywall ($480), replacing part of basement floor and ceiling because of water leak from shower head pipe ($10,174), and two bathroom floating vanities with granite countertops started pulling away from the wall because of inadequate support and needed to be repaired ($2,000). The total expenditures following the remodeling job was $20,024. This house was built in 1979 and we have had no issues with any of the other bathrooms other than the one that Michael Nash remodeled. BUYER BEWARE, ALL THAT LOOKS GOOD MIGHT NOT BE GOOD!

Michael Nash has completed three renovation projects in our townhouse. Our home was starting to feel a little dated and it was time to upgrade from the “builder grade” materials used when the home was first constructed. We started with a major kitchen renovation that included removing a wall in order to create an open floor plan and converting the adjoining family room into an extension of the kitchen. We had them remodel a small powder room on the same floor as the kitchen and were amazed at how much glam Michael Nash could fit into such a small space. We followed those projects up with substantial renovations to our master bathroom. We are thrilled with the results and pleased that we have all the upgrades of a brand new home without having to leave the neighborhood that we love.We worked with Oliver as our designer on both projects. He was very knowledgeable and helpful, providing guidance on options and helping us visualize what our spaces could look like in the end. We were not in a rush to complete the designs and Oliver was very patient as we went through several concepts before landing on our final design. He took our ideas, many of them from Houzz and other online sites, and then improved upon them based on his years of design experience.The Nash showroom is filled with many examples of materials and styles that could fit with any home decor. The quality of products that Michael Nash carries is impressive and they allow customers to choose from many of the same name brands that you would find stores (such as Kohler, Moen, and Delta). But if you do not see what you are looking for then they are very accomodating in letting you choose from other vendors. For example, we were able to search through several lighting catalogs from major manufactures to find the kitchen lights that best fit with our design.The fixed price approach of Michael Nash removed all the stress and anxiety of setting our budget for the projects. After getting quotes from other comparable companies in the area, Michael Nash offered a substantially lower bid -- especially for the quality of products and the comfort of a fixed price. We thought that the fixed price was especially important since we were removing a wall in order to extend our kitchen space, and Sonny (the CEO) assured us that if there were any structural challenges there would still be no changes to the price of the project. Fixed price also removed any “nickel-and-diming” during the project. If we decided to add a cabinet to the design, or change the style of tile, there were never any changes to the price.The Michael Nash construction crews were always very nice and professional. Our kids really enjoyed watching them work, and they always interacted with our family in a very professional way. Luis, the lead on our kitchen project, was especially wonderful with kids -- taking time even at the end of a long day to tell them about the different pipes, wires, and tools that they would see during the renovation.Sonny, the CEO, came out to our house several times during the projects to check on the progress and make sure that we were happy. It is clear that, for Michael Nash, customer satisfaction with the end project is always most important. Our kitchen has already won a regional award from National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and we look forward to learning if the bathroom will also win an award. For us, however, both projects are already award winners since they they turned out amazing. Everyone who visits our home is wowed by the transformation. Other neighbors who have the same floor plan are now planning on remodeling now that they see what can be done when you have a skilled design build company involved.Thanks to Michael Nash for making our home a showplace that we will be happy to live in for years to come!

We are over the moon with the outcome of this project. This was a very large Kitchen project that included knocking walls down, moving windows, and making the Kitchen footprint 2x. I've seen plenty of jobs involving kitchen companies where you could tell the companies doing the work didn't have the skill set or knowledge to customize certain aspects of a kitchen. This was not the case with Michael Nash. The quality is unmatched, and the way Sonny works was something we were actually very impressed with (Firm Fixed Price). I'd hire Michael Nash in a second to do more work in our house. They're exceptional at what they do!We couldn't be happier with the results of our remodel, and honestly feel like we're living in a new home. Thank you Sonny and team!

My name is Marwa Elsiguiny, a renowned food blogger with a substantial global following, particularly in the United States, with a noticeable concentration in the state of Virginia where I currently reside. Many of my followers are eagerly awaiting the reveal of my kitchen design, as they are interested in the tools, clothes, and decorations I use in my videos.In order to create a kitchen that reflects my unique style and captures the vintage classic vibe seen in my videos, I hired Michael Nash, a reputable design company, and worked closely with Me S., the CEO. We signed a contract on April 2, 2023, and I paid around 120K as agreed.Unfortunately, I am extremely disappointed with the progress of the project. It is now mid-February 2024, and there has been no progress made on the construction or extension of my kitchen. This delay is completely unacceptable. A month away and it will be one year since I signed, and yet nothing has changed and the project hasn't even started.To make matters worse, the kitchen designer, Mr. T., has made multiple mistakes in his calculations. This includes miscalculations in the spaces next to the kitchen window, the space between the coffee corner and the kitchen island, and even forgetting to order essential components for the built-in under-counter refrigerator.When presented with the designs for the new kitchen, I was shocked to see that there was an empty 8-foot space that had been completely overlooked. I took it upon myself to design a coffee corner for that space, but it is disheartening that such a significant area was neglected by the professionals I hired.Communication with the company has been abysmal. There have been constant delays, with promised start dates being repeatedly postponed due to additional paperwork and confusion with other projects. This lack of transparency and accountability is unacceptable.To add insult to injury, on February 1st, I was informed by Mr. S., the project manager, that the planned 6-foot extension for the kitchen is no longer possible. It has been reduced to a mere 16 inches, which greatly affects the size of the kitchen cabinets and the overall design. This sudden change is completely unacceptable, especially considering that I had already purchased a stove and designed a kitchen island based on the original plans.Furthermore, I have entered into contracts with renowned international kitchen appliance companies, including an Italian, an American, and a Spanish company. It was supposed to be a year of collaborations and promotions with these companies. However, to my great disappointment, the kitchen has not been built yet. I have informed Michael Nash about this issue and even presented them with the contracts I have with these companies. Unfortunately, they did not show any interest or concern in the matter. This situation could potentially lead these major companies to withdraw their contracts with me and cancel the planned advertisements.Moreover, it is worth mentioning that we are only a month away from the one-year anniversary since signing the contract, and yet there has been no progress or significant changes made to the project. This is a clear indication of the lack of commitment and professionalism from Michael Nash. The fact that the project has not even started after a year is incredibly frustrating and unacceptable.I am deeply upset by the lack of progress, design mistakes, constant delays, and the overall unprofessionalism displayed by Michael Nash. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied, and I hope that the company takes immediate action to rectify the situation and deliver on their promises. I will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as screenshots attached to this review ..

We had 2.5 bathrooms remodeled in 2018. I was initially angry because (it appeared they had signed more contracts than they could handle in time) the work took considerably longer than we had agreed upon. However, after it was finally done I was exceedingly happy with the quality and can recommend. Two other points worth mentioning: (1) we got really good and well-informed help at every stage of designing the bathrooms, and it was not a trivial design - each BR had its own and very distinct style, - nor did we feel any pressure to settle for cheaper options, even though we paid a lump some and more expensive materials meant less profit for them. (2) They promised life warranty, and I was not taking it very seriously. But, they did come promptly every time we had an issue (three of four in seven years), and did fix everything for free.Oh, and they actually gave us a few thousands back (on a $70 K project) because of undue (and serious) delays.

When I wanted my basement done I was very skeptical on who should I hire and the cost it's going to be on me. So a friend told me about Michael Nash Design, Build & Home and how they take thier time and explain everything you need to know. I worked with several of thier disgn workers on what I wanted from Led lights with dimmer opition and speakers with marble bathrooms. They told me that won't be an issue and drew up a design I would like. I did make some changes due to my wife likeing. You know how it is. Happy wife happy life. LOL. Any way. They got started and you could just see the progrees one by one it was a eye opener. The workers were friendly and made sure everything was setup to my likening. We love our Michael Nash renovation! We felt like we were in good hands from the very first visit from Sonny to our house to discuss what we wanted. His many decades of experience were on display as he asked tons of great questions about our needs and the habits of our bustling household of five. He confidently explained his vision for what our remodel could be, and we enthusiastically signed on to get started.Then came the design experience with Tony which was everything you would expect and more from a high-end design firm. He was patient (we spent more than eight hours in the showroom over several weeks), he was opinionated but not pushy, and he quickly adapted his ideas and suggestions as he discovered our tastes and style. The all-in pricing was also a tremendously positive part of our experience, because it meant that we could pick the options, finishes, hardware, lights, etc. without having to worry about every little incremental cost. The whole process was so easy, in fact, that we kept finding ways to add scope to our project as we were designing it. Fast-forward to the end, and what started out as a kitchen makeover ended up as a new kitchen, new hardwood floors on the main level, new overhead lighting, a new mudroom, a renovated first floor powder room, and our laundry room relocated upstairs to be closer to the bedrooms! When it came to the additional scope, Michael Nash never pushed us for any of it and we always found their prices to be very reasonable. The fact that as our project moved forward we wanted to do MORE work with Michael Nash than we started out wanting is a testament to how confident we were in the quality of the result we were going to get.Of course, no major home project is without its little bumps along the way, and ours was no exception. There were some unfortunate delays between signing the contract and our project starting, and the scope we added resulted in a considerably longer timeline to get everything completed. A bright spot amidst these frustrations, however, was that our project manager Shawn always answered the phone when I called to ask questions or express concern and always came to our house when I wanted to review something or talk something over face-to-face.I also want to highlight the skill and professionalism of the Michael Nash employees who did the work. We found them to be extremely knowledgeable and courteous. They kept the site clean and tidy (which was very important to us, since our remodel was in a very central location) each and every day when they finished up. From the painters to the electricians to the plumbers and floor installers, it was clear that we were dealing with real industry experts which added to our comfort level.Finally, the story of our experience wouldn’t be complete without mentioning Fred, who is in charge of customer satisfaction after the job is complete. Like any big job, there are always going to be little things that go wrong or that you aren’t completely happy with but don’t notice until later, and that’s where Fred comes in. In the nearly one year since our project finished, Fred has answered our calls and emails on those few occasions when we’ve needed his help, and he has gone the extra mile to make sure we feel supported by Michael Nash well after they got their last payment and the work was complete. This is a rare thing in the world of contracting, and Michael Nash does it better than anyone we’ve ever worked with.

We had small building in big lot in Mclean Langley .We called them and arranged virtual meeting with Sonny. In 30 minutes meeting he gave ideas which were totally unique and different.Before them I called six more companies And individual contractors. So I previously had gotten four estimate from them, but based on what they offered their price was so competitive.I used Michael Nash company to add an addition in one side of the house to extend basement, garage and second floor. By this addition we extended our basement 2 times and built a nice bar and fitness room and fireplace there . Also in main floor we extended our garage and extended and remodeled our kitchen, built a nice mod room and modern laundry room including nice cabinets and big and special vanity, added master bedroom for my parents and in second floor we totally remodeled our 3 bedrooms for my 3 teenage kids , and added one master bedroom and one master bathroom .I love this new bathroom specially because we have sauna and jacuzzi in there.They added screen in our existing porch, repaired my sagging ceiling on the porch, added fire place and small bar area by extending of our existing porch.Every single detail including size, materials … discussed and specified in our job specifications .Sonny is one of the nicest people I have met and is not your typical contractor. He really amazed me by his perfection. He scanned my house with his eyes and quickly gave me the options based on county rolls and structure of the house .I would recommend Michael Nash to my friends and anyone that needs personal work done. They are fair and do wonderful work. I am very pleased with the work of Michael Nash and could not be happier than this.I have 2 additional jobs with them , My Parents house and my sister in-law ‘s house .that they scheduled to start on October .Also for next year we have contract with them to build nice pool in our backyard.They are 10 stars ⭐️, highly recommended

Our remodeled Kitchen is fantastic!We contracted with Michael Nash Design Build & Homes and are extremely happy with the quality of the work they performed remodeling. Sonny the CEO visited at the beginning to estimate what it would take to transform our kitchen into the showpiece it is now. We worked with Tony one of their designers--and our favorite--to plan the tearing out of walls and redesigning the entire space. He helped in so many ways with great ideas, quality cabinets and countertops, flooring, and other finishes. it is amazing to me all the details that go into designing a kitchen!The construction crews were wonderful! They were all friendly, knowledgeable, skilled and polite and are employees not contractors. They did their work carefully and cleaned the worksite every day upon leaving. They put up plastic barriers to seal off the rest of the house from dust. They were precise in their measurements and their installation work. They consulted with us when needed to make sure every detail was addressed.In the end, our kitchen is everything we could have wanted. It is now opened up to the rest of the dining room and living room and has the views of the lake we desired when we started the process with Michael Nash. It has features we never though of before the design process. Michael Nash can be proud of the work they did here since we surely are.

They presented several designs with our ideas and we could pick and choose the designs and materials. After 30+ years the kitchen really needed updating. I had heard good about Michael Nash Kitchen Design and Built and was sure I’d get a nice new kitchen. I ended up getting much more. Sam and Marji’s innovative and elegant design transformed the house. There was No Room to make the kitchen and hall bath and hallway bigger but they designed a nice addition to both sides and made it happened.Their crew, Martin and Cordoba were excellent, polite and reliable and it was a pleasure having them in our house like members of our family. I also had an especially good experience with Tony who designed our kitchen paying attention to all details even one screw!Even with an inexcusable delay caused by a third party materials supplier I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience.Shawn and oliver the project managers walked through us and guided us when we needed them and made the change orders effective and efficient during the construction.Mike, their punch list manager at the end of the job did great work with his crew and finalized and wrapped everything based on our needs and our expectations.Especial thanks to Sonny, the owner who helped us many times by his exceptional experience. We had our owners bathroom remodeled and redesigned. The design is wonderful giving us a more open space and more room. The workmanship is very good and the assistance with selections was very helpful. Would definitely use them again and recommend them.

Primary Bathroom RemodelThis was a long process, as one would expect, but the experience and professionalism of Michael Nash made our bathroom come to life! We were so pleased with the design consultation and working with us to find the right pieces we wanted. The quality of the work was great and we passed inspection the first time and have had no issues with the function of the products or any issues with the quality of the materials. Given that our work took place during the pandemic we did have supply chain and personnel issues, but Michael Nash was very responsive and made us feel like we were a priority. Overall, dealing with contractors and renovations can be a headache but we have a bathroom that we love, looks great and was done right the first time. Michael Nash's experience really shows.

Our neighbors, who were very pleased with their kitchen remodel, referred us to Michael Nash Design, Build & Homes. Our home in Arlington is a 1964 split level, with a narrow doorway to the kitchen at the top of the entrance stairway. Our kitchen project was a total tear-out and rebuild. We expanded the doorway with double French doors, added wood floors, all new appliances, new sliding glass doors to the outside patio, high-end cabinets, quartz countertops, and beautiful Portuguese tiles. We added a peninsula with quartz countertop and partial overlay of walnut butcher block with six bar stools. The kitchen is beautiful, and we are thrilled with the results. Sonny and Oliver made the kitchen design process easy with their many years of construction and interior design experience. Oliver was our project manager, and he was fantastic to work with. The many workers over the months checked with me on everything – Edwin, the electrician, on where to place the light switches, Cordova, the carpenter, on the cabinet installation and shape we wanted for the walnut butcher block bar counter, and Sebastian on paint colors. And especially Mike, the finisher (as I call him) – helping us finalize all remaining requests in completing the job. Michael Nash did a fantastic job on two projects for me. They built a beautiful flagstone patio with a retaining wall and a basement bathroom with an ejector toilet.
