Really enjoyed working with Jessica and John throughout the whole project. The pricing for the project is reasonable. Jessica has been great to work with and answered all my questions and concerns promptly and I never felt I had to chase them to get an update or answer to my question. John kept us updated on the actual building process on a regular basis. Their customer service was amazing and we really love the end product and the craftsmanship. We are excited about the way our composite deck replacement turned out. We got a lot of quotes since this was a large project (~900 ft2) with a unique built-in pond feature. Their quote wasn’t the lowest or highest, but was very fair. They were willing to provide references which we checked out. Unlike many of the other contractors we visited with, we felt Matt was very knowledgeable and willing to work with us to tweak the design to insure we were happy with the final result. That turned out to be the case. Jessica was very easy to work with as well. We never had any communication issues. The people constructing our deck, Ray and Steven, were perfectionists and their attention to detail shows in the final result. They always showed up for work as planned. We are entirely pleased with their excellent work. We enjoy our new deck with the separate sections for different uses (one for grilling and dining, one for relaxing on a swing, and the other for sitting, relaxing and enjoying a morning coffee while watching the fish. We particularly enjoy the pond feature. We are very happy we selected 13ten and highly recommend them. I hired 13/Ten to install a 2nd floor balcony. My 1st contact was Matt he was very knowledgeable and helped me decide on my design, and gave me a fair quote, I collected 3. He was very professional and easy to work with. Then there was Lin, honest hardworking experienced builder. He was always punctual, and neat in his work, great guy! And then Jessica who keeps the crew moving. She was very nice and honest. I would highly recommend 13/Ten, and I will be contacting them for my future projects. 13Ten built a new porch for me. The only glitches in the process were caused by an official at Chesterfield Health Department. Once the demolition started every thing fell right into place. The workman were awesome and their craftsmanship is top notch. It was a special treat to watch them turn raw lumber into a work of art.

Matt, Jessica and their group of construction guys were a great group to work with! The maintenance free screened in porch and new deck are BEAUTIFUL! It’s much more than I expected and I love it!!! I had this installed for my almost 88 y.o. mom. She LOVES sitting in the fresh air (minus the bugs and sunburn). The porch is perfect for her! Matt and Jessica always kept me up on what was going on and they did site visits almost daily. Their professionalism, attention to me and the job they were doing for me, the timeliness in completing the job and the skillfully constructeddeck/porch are characteristic of 13TEN. 13|TEN was the first, and only company, to respond to my distress signal. We noticed that the support beam on our porch was rotten and would most likely not last another season. Upon contact, they responded quickly and set up an appointment to give us a quote. Matt came out and asked a ton of questions to fully understand our need and provided me with a very fair quote. The contractor, Lin, that arrived was extremely friendly, professional, and thorough. He explained the job in full and delivered on the service promises made. I called, Jessica answered! Most places, you leave a message and are lucky to get a call back. She arranged for Mike to swing by in a few days, discuss the job and have an proposal done. A few days after the evaluation, I had my proposal.Like nearly all construction businesses, they were a month or more booked. After seven weeks, the crew along with Mike came and did the job. All through out, they asked me if I 'wanted it 'like this or like that'. Communication! Wonderful.Great crew, first rate work. Exceeded my expectations. No shortcuts, quality across the board. When I have other work that they can do, they will be my first call, zero hesitation.

13|Ten Renovations was up to the task in replacing the old/aged stairs attached to our country-style front porch. This was a somewhat unique project in that it involved the use of rough-sawn lumber, including many 8' 6X6s used for steps/treads. We are very pleased with our new stairs and the craftsmanship that went into them. The 13|Ten team was very responsive and conducted themselves in a professional manner .... from quote presentation to the finished product; highly recommend.

First time I spoke to Matt one of owners, he understood what I was looking for and explain by detail how the process would go from the start to finish. Last individual Lin the carpenter, this is a man gifted with a hammer. He took this project as if he was putting a new porch on his own home.
