This is the first negative review I've ever taken the time to send.Hero mold removed 2 walls of sheetrock and "fumigeted" in my basement. My well-intentioned wife paid $3,200k for 2-3 hours of work with a 2 man crew. They left nails in the brick and corners of broken drywall still on the walls. I'm actually embarrassed forthem. Some two weeks later I'm still in shock at how poor of a job they did and how badly my wife and I were overcharged.

Hero Mold Company responded to our call right away for a mold test and they took time to explain everything to us. They were not pushy or high pressure, they really were knowledgeable. We had a small area of mold in our closet so I did hire them for the removal and I’m very pleased with the job they did.

A thorough evaluation for mold was conducted inside and outside our home's exterior, including some air and tape samples. These guys are wonderful service providers. As our house is quite bigger, they worked consistently well at it. I am happy and relaxed after having my home inspected by them.

My spouse and I took “advantage” of a duct cleaning coupon from groupon that turned out to be some crooks trying to scare us into doing a whole house treatment for mold after they found “dangerous mold growing in our HVAC”. I called Hero Mold for a second opinion and they took some samples and found out there was nothing to be worried about. The HVAC guys tried to turn a $60 vent cleaning into a $6,000 job…. One mold test saved me 6k. I reported them to groupon and will be following up to see if I can get them prosecuted. Anyway, thank you to Hero Mold for not trying to scam me and I’ll refer you guys out to anyone I know that needs your services!

We had a mold test done by a large franchise company that wont be named and they quoted us $6,000 to fix our mold issue. We called Hero Mold and their quote was $2,000 less! What, is there a $2,000 franchise fee or something? Geeze. Hero Mold saved us 2 grand. Glad I called.
