I purchased a Heatmaster G4000 from Highland in July 2021. They gave me a good deal and kept their prices low as long as possible given the price increases elsewhere. This was my first gasifier. I have had a Central Boiler Classic stove for 20 years. I did some research and decided on the Heatmaster. I'm in eastern North Carolina, which is not a tremendously cold climate, but our winters can have some low temps and the cold is a wet cold which cuts through you. I finally got my stove installed in October (did it myself) and have been using it a little over a month. There is an initial learning curve when switching from a traditional boiler to the gasifier, but I wouldn't look back. When they said you would cut your wood usage in half they weren't kidding. I have been utterly amazed at how much less wood this stove uses. It has at least been cut in half and I would venture to say it has been cut by as much as 60% for me. It takes some getting used to because it fires different, but it is worth it. I'm very pleased. I highly recommend the Heatmaster and Highland Outdoor Stoves to anyone in the market for a boiler.
