This company definitely deserved a fantastic review done by me. Window king was by far the BEST company I have ever had come do work on my house. The owners Lee and Cathy were amazing and so professional! The guy they had come install my windows name was Jason. Jason was on time, professional and very communicative. I was impressed with his craft, hard work, and the dedication he provided for my windows. I highly recommend this company to anybody that needs new window installation. I met Lee over twenty years ago! He is the most caring , kind and professional person I have ever met! Had no issues in buying 16 windows from him back then. When it was time to replace, I didn’t hesitate to call him back. Several years ago we had 14 windows in our townhome replaced by the great folks at Window King. When we had a window get foggy, they were courteous and prompt in replacing it under the lifetime warranty.We just had our patio door replaced today and we are totally pleased with it. We had a fairly complex situation and the guys were professional, polite and did a great job in an amazingly short timeframe. I'm sitting in my living room feeling no more drafts and no outside noise. I highly recommend Window King!

I just wanted to say what excellent work I had from this company. They came out and gave me a quote, windows were ordered and came in within the time quoted. Their team came - informed me of everything they were going to do. They were such a great team. 5 workers came the first day and 3 to finish up the second. They cleaned up everything inside and out. Everyone steady worked - only short lunch break and never slacked up. I got the best grade of windows and I am thrilled. My old windows were a bear to remove. No mess anywhere when all was done. I highly recommend them to anyone. I am more than pleased and was such a great price!

I NEVER write reviews but I felt compelled to do so after my recent experience with Window King. I had 21 windows in my home replaced by Window King over 10+ years ago. Over the past few years, a couple of window seals had failed here and there but my husband & I just kind of waited to contact Window King because we felt like it would be an overall hassle to file a claim under a "warranty". To us, "warranty" means there is some type of loophole that benefits the company in to making more money over the years or "up-selling" (i.e. we would have to pay for labor/installation or there are better windows available now, etc.). That is not the case with Window King. LIFETIME WARRANTY MEANS LIFETIME WARRANTY. I contacted them a few weeks ago - they were able to locate my original purchase, I took pictures of each window that had an issue and THEY submitted everything to the warranty department. I didn't have to fill out any forms, etc. Today, the owner and his wife came by my house to install 9 brand new windows. I was floored! The owner and his wife were installing the windows because they are a family-owned/run business and they take pride in their company/work! What?!?! A company that doesn't "sub" out their work to other contractors?!?! I was blown away!! Over the years, we have made a ton of repairs to a 1960's house, but working with Window King is the BEST investment we could have ever made!! Thank you, Lee, Cathy & Tiffany!!!

Window King did an excellent job on the delivery and installation of new windows for our home. Not only did they replace windows over 60 year old, they covered wood trim and replaced exterior dentil molding. We are very pleased. The windows have made our home more comfortable through the winter and after living with impossible to open older windows I find opening them in good weather a pleasure. I highly reccomend Window King to anyone looking for either new windows or exterior work.

My windows were installed about 7 years ago and I was very very pleased with the quality and the service. However I have been trying since last August to get 3 panes replaced that are cloudy. I have talked to Kathy numerous times and have been told she would check again with the factory and get back to me but she has never gotten back. I'm about ready to give up on getting the replacements.

I had eight windows installed in December of 2012 by this company. One was a large awning window. It has been 2 1/2 years, and the window still leaks, and has gotten progressively worse. From the very beginning Lee has tried to deny any responsibility and has tried to blame the problem on everything but his company's incompetent installation. While the initial leaks were caused by a bad gasket and faulty hardware on the awning window, the succeeding water coming into my house is clearly due to incorrect installation. I just had a local contractor who I have known for years check out the window and he verified that the window was installed incorrectly. The flashing above the exterior part of the window was improperly installed causing water to flow into the top portion of my house. The excessive use of exterior caulk by this company to cover up their incorrect installation proves their incompetence. I am having a contractor correct the problem with the leaking window and I will eventually have to get all the windows re-installed by a competent contractor. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Window King has the best prices in Hampton Roads. They have a "no hassle" sells approach were every question is answered clearly. They are the window company that I recommend to my mother and all of my friends and family, because I know they have good business ethics.

Not worth the low price. Try and get a warranty replacement. Go ahead, I dare you. Been working for over two months with them and still have no replacements. Several times now I've spoken with them. Several times they've said "we'll do x and call you back." They don't return calls. Most of windows we originally got were bad. Now they're telling me it's the manufacturer's fault, that they called the manufacturer and THEY were supposed to call me. I'm having a hard time believing that, but we'll see. Supposedly the manufacturer is going to call me today, we'll see. Either way, it shouldn't take this long and take so much work on my part to repair a defective product. Do yourself a favor, choose another contractor.
