We had a very bad wind storm and it blew a large piece of metal flashing off of our side roof. We could see the exposed plywood. We are in a townhouse in Kingstowne and our roof is 35 feet in the air. We contacted GoTech Roofing and they came out the same day (Sunday) to inspect it. They then scheduled a repair appointment for 8:00 AM the very next day. GoTech Roofing fixed the repair very quickly. When they were up there, they found very large gaps around the top of our large sill window where the old caulking had dried up and fallen out. They cleaned the gaps and resealed the window. We are so thankful that they took the time to fix the window – just a little snow and we would have had major leaking coming into our wall. We had a 26 year old cedar shake roof that was on its last leg. Our neighbor had their roof replaced by GoTech Roofing using DaVinci composite shake. So, we reached out to them to get an estimate. I live in an HOA where they have cedar shake roofs. I thought for sure that I would have to replace the roof with the same expensive cedar wood. But, Julian came out and explained that there were composite shake roof products now. Turns out that HOA already had the product he recommended on their approved list. We had roof damage and our insurance company came back with their report. The insurance inspector barely looked at anything on our roof and we felt he wasn't very thorough. A local roofing supply company told us to get a HAAG certified roof inspector to look at it. GoTech Roofing has HAAG certified roof inspectors, so we went with them. Their inspection report found so many things the insurance company didn't... They communicated with the insurance company and we got everything covered. GoTech's crew was professional and efficient.
