The experience was nothing short of excellent. From Matt explaining everything to Paul and his crew, led by Will, to the entire team on the site, they were professional, thorough, hard working and extremely pleasant to work with. Daily clean up, attentive to the task, and very accommodating to us, the home owners. I would recommend Blue Ridge to everyone. They have done four homes on our street (we all have a defective siding issue from initial construction) and every single neighbor has nothing but high marks for them. Job very well done!! They have been everything I could ever have hoped for.

When my original siding from Certainteed failed after just 8 years, I knew I wanted HardiePlanks on my house based on their stellar reputation, owner feedback & certified Hardie installers who have been trained in Hardie's proper installation techniques.We interviewed several installers but only Matt from Blue Ridge told us what was fact: we didn't need to replace our entire house with Hardie; that only certain areas needed replacement. Also important - they are the only Hardie installer in RVA that is certified ELITE PREFERRED meeting Hardie's strictest installer's requirements for best practices & training & # of satisfactory jobs completed per year (20+).Blue Ridge was also able to quickly get me on their schedule for a 2 day job & Paul, the installation manager was very open in communicating all logistical activities that would take place from dumpster arrival to hours his crew would be on site.4 man installation team led by Will completed the job in 2.5 days during the HOTTEST week of July where one day felt like 108*!They cleaned up all issues & glad to say they were all minor without any drama.Blue Ridge save me $, are professionals & is highly recommended by me.

Blue Ridge replaced our siding and 15 windows. Both Matt and Paul were great to work with. Responsive and detail oriented. I am a licensed civil engineer in the state of Virginia and understand construction pretty well, and have run many projects through the years. I can say without reservation that this job ran very smoothly throughout the process, due to the professionalism of Matt and Paul. There were several typical hiccups along the way but they were quickly addressed and resolved. The crews were neat, courteous, experienced and very well equipped to do the job. I invariably dread having contractors to our house for anything, as they usually create more work for me after they leave, but NOT Blue Ridge. Would hire them again in a second. Great bunch of guys.

The people behind Blue Ridge Exteriors are some of the most experienced, good-natured individuals I've had the pleasure of interacting with. My family originally came to the company through a referral from a family friend last year in regards to replacing the siding on our home. We wanted to take the step to installing a higher-quality product, and after doing our research, decided to go with James Hardie-Plank material, which Blue Ridge Exteriors specializes in.After speaking with many friends & colleagues, we chose Blue Ridge Exteriors because of their affordability, craftsmanship, and overall reputation.I can honestly say that this was one of the greater purchases for our home. We were 100% happy with the experience because they worked hard to make sure we were 100% happy. From the first sales meeting through the installation and "after care," they were available to answer any questions, responded quickly to any concerns, and made sure we were getting what we wanted. What I was most impressed with is that an owner of the company was here every day checking to make sure things were going well -- and then he came by at the end to do a walk through with us as well. This is very rare for contractors these days -- we have had a LOT done on our house and I don't think anyone we have worked with on any of our several major projects has taken this kind of oversight with their day-to-day operations. When company owners were not here, the team members who did the actual work were very professional and respectful with our home. I'm not going to lie -- having all the siding removed from your house (two layers!) and then putting your house back together again is a very stressful endeavor. This company listens to its customers and wants to do right by them. This job was done better than we anticipated. Our house looks amazing!

When I first moved into our house we knew the first thing we wanted to replace were the old windows. We called Blue Ridge Exteriors and got an excellent price on new windows. They sent out a professional team and replaced all of our old windows which has saved us money over the years on our electric bill.
