I hired Hunter to repaired my garage due to pipe busted. I read his reviews in the past and it seen to be the right person. I was very disappointed with his workmanship. Painted all over garage door, garage door rails, some area’s that was repaired look like amature workmanship, had many other issues I had with his workmanship. “Quote and quote” “He said is just a garage and it didn’t matter” he NOT here to give me a brand new house”.I was very disappointed with his worked and also he is on a high end. I would not recomend him.

I was very pleased with Hunter and Star City Construction. We planned to redo a kitchen and master bath in the summer of 2021. I started to reach out to contractors in the spring to get things going. Hunter was prompt about returning my call and coming out to our house. We were pleased with all aspects of their work in the kitchen and bath. We were very pleased with the tile work that was done (Thanks, Emma). Each day before they left, they made sure the house was clean. We called Star City Construction after we bought our first home. We wanted to see how we could expand or improve our small upstairs bathroom. Hunter called back almost immediately and listened to our ideas and concerns. Just a few days later he met us at the house to discuss the project. In the end, Hunter advised us against the project since it was just too costly and intense for our first house. Even so, we had a great experience working with Hunter and truly appreciate his honesty! Will absolutely call Star City Construction for our next house project.

Star City Construction did an amazing job for us. We needed to have some old, rotting wood trim replaced on our house. They took incredible care at every stage of the job, always checking with us to make sure we were happy with the work. They also fixed a few other things along the way, going beyond our expectations. Our house looks great, and I would recommend them for any job.

I read great reviews about Star City Construction and decided to call them to get a quote for finishing my basement. We scheduled a time for the owner to come out and give us an estimate for the work and he didn’t call or show up during that time. I texted him to see if he was still coming 20 minutes after the agreed upon time and never received a response. It was unprofessional to not send a text or call canceling the appointment. Work schedules were adjusted and time was wasted. I’m sure this company does great work based on the reviews, but unfortunately I did not have a good experience.

Had a difficult plumbing situation, beyond the ability of a plumber. Needed a general contractor to assess the situation of a main line leak, that would involve removal of cabinetry, drywall, and all other necessary fixed items between basement and main floor, make the fix, and then put it all back like it never happened. Star City took on a job that wasn’t cookie cutter and easy to see where problem may be located and “figured it out”. It was approaching a remodel in reverse to reach a line that is made to last life of the house. Main thing, problem solved, in a responsive and communicative way at a fair value. About all that you can ask.
