Shawn did a very thorough job with diagnosing and replacing the compressor in our unit. Couldn’t ask for more. He is also very considerate of your home and pets while working. The breaker for our hot water heater conked out on us (or so we thought) and we were stranded with no hot water for a couple days. Gave Michael and son a call, and had a technician out less than 24 hours later. When Matt showed up, he got straight to work assessing the issue, which took about 30 seconds to diagnose and resolve. Not only was he quick, but he only ended up charging us about 30% of what we were expecting to pay, which speaks to his honesty. We will definitely be using Matt in the future for our household projects, and cannot even begin to recommend him highly enough. Friendly, professional, honest, and efficient. Caderious arrived on time and completed the inspection efficiently. We had septic clean out pipes sticking out of the ground about 4 - 6”. He cut them down to flush with the ground early the next day. Now the danger of breaking them is nonexistent.

We gave him a few details about the problem, and he was able to give rough estimates over the phone. And when he got to the site and worked on the problem he was knowledgeable and efficient when working and explaining what the situation was and gave me multiple solutions so I was able to pick the best option for my family. My only issue was when he was coming to our job he was sent to another one and there Dispatcher didn't notify us, and left our technician out to dry; however he was still there within the job window and wad able to get the problem fixed in 25min, probably would of been faster if I didn't ask so many questions. All in all was delighted with service and will definitely call for all future needs as well as recommend to family & friends.

I am a new homeowner and this was my first experience calling someone out for repairs and it was overwhelmingly positive. I called Micheal and Son after a major rainstorm caused some flooding the basement of the house I recently purchased. They were able to send someone that same day, whereas a competitor I called said they could not send someone for a full week. Noah Mayhew arrived that afternoon. As a new homeowner, I want to learn as much as possible about the systems in my home and Noah went above and beyond in showing me how things worked and explaining the systems to me so I could understand. He did not pressure me to get any repairs done, but laid out my options. He spent time making sure I had what I needed and seemed to really enjoy his work. He was very knowledgeable and I felt immediately I could trust him to do a really solid job. He fixed the problem and I feel prepared with more knowledge going forward. Next time I need work done, I will call Micheal and Son and ask for Noah Mayhew by name. What a great first experience; I didn’t know having a leak and having a technician come out could be such a pleasure!

Swavyon Constanza installed four electrical outlets, a surge protection system, and a living room fan at our home. He is personable, efficient, knowledgeable and talented, and did a great job on everything. He explained the estimates very clearly. The scheduling for all the work Sway has done at our home has been very easy to set up, and he arrived right on time, even after a snowstorm the previous day! We feel that we are in excellent hands in our new home, with Michael and Son, and with Sway, and we feel confident in planning other home improvements, knowing the work will be done professionally by workers like Sway.

The maintenance plans have been a good experience for me. It is affordable and good to be sure someone is checking out my HVAV, Electrical and plumbing. There is no pressure to do suggested improvements but they will talk you if something is unsafe or not up to code and what would save you money or extend the life of your system. I get a discount on parts and labor because I am in the maintenance contract.I will say that the scheduling of the services is a pain and frequently the schedulers and workers don’t seem to be on the same page. I have taken the day off for the visit three times so far when the guy doesn’t show up. This is the weak part of the company in my opinion.The tech that came out most recently for my electrical inspection found some issues and created different estimates based on what I wanted to have done. He let me know the options which was great and he was very thorough with the inspection. Thank you Russell!

This company is truly amazing from the receptionist to the two plumbers they came to check my toilet out. Thank you so much James and Christopher! They were both so respectful of my home, very kind, professional and informative. Both deserve a raise! Even though Christopher wasn’t able to do much when he arrived, he called someone right away to help and they showed up same day. James fixed my toilet within 8 to 10 mins. I will definitely use Michael and son again!

So pleased with this company. I didn't have to wait weeks for an appointment. The plumbing technician was fabulous and very accommodating, and everything is done by code! Signed the yearly inspection contract for hvac, plumbing, and electrical and received discount on services. The electrician came 2 days later and completed the hot water dispenser install and even vacuumed up after the job was done! Both technicians were efficient, respectful, and competent in their fields. Five stars from me! AW
