This was a great experience from beginning to end. The admin staff and the techs were both professional and helpful. The work itself was completed fast, gutters and downspouts cleaned thoroughly despite the gutter guards I'd even forgotten I had. On top of that, I had a small place under the gutter that had come loose from the wooden piece that held it in place. One of the techs quickly fixed it for me! Thank you!! Bugs were getting in there. The price is great and the company wonderful. Highly recommended.

Update: It has been over 10 weeks and Ned Stevens never called us back despite assuring us several times they would call us back. We called them several times and each time they said a manager would call us, but none ever did. The damage to our front door remains and we've never gotten a call back from Ned Stevens to discuss the issues they caused. We would be careful of this company as they are large and appear to have trouble following up.We hired Ned Stevens for roof, gutter and siding cleaning. Their team came out, however, they missed treating entire hip roofs, some gutters, and some siding areas. They also left a large amount of organic matter on some roof areas they treated, but left it to accumulate in the gutter. We had gone over all these before before we signed - including cleaning the roof prior to cleaning the gutter and where assure. When we saw the issues, we called their support and sent them the photos. They said they’d come out today and correct all of these issue, however, after waiting all day (it is now after 6pm) they are a no show.If they come out and correct their work, we’ll update this review.So they came out and finished the cleaning which is good, but the manager never called us after promising us twice they would call as our wooden door was flooded by the original team (I know as I grabbed towels to clean up the water they sprayed inside my house. The bottom of the front door swelled up so now much it gets stuck. I’ll likely sand it down and refinish it myself, but Ned Steven said they’d have a manager call us back. We call twice over 2 weeks and no call back from the manager.Please call us back Ned Stevens. We’ll give them 3 stars as the second team finished the job, but if they don’t call back, we’ll be forced to drop the review.Having to call them multiple times is a small nuisance, but them never calling back is bad.

Still waiting for our service to be completed - when I signed up they said they had a lot of trucks in my area so I assumed that would be a fast service as the weather was nice for quite a few days. Now I am faced with the weather getting colder and the possibility that they may not come and clean the gutters this fall at all, even though I signed up before the cut off date…. No reactivity and slow to perform the service.

They did a good job cleaning the gutters and informing me of problems with the gutters.Things I didn't like:-They don't tell you when they're going to come. They don't even tell you what day. You just get a text when the crew is on the way that you can't respond to. There's no way to schedule around them if you don't know when they're coming.-The service is noisy because they do it with a power washer, and they don't tell you that in advance. I am autistic and sensitive to noise, and this was very disruptive for me. A heads up would have been appreciated.-They cleaned up the leaf debris, but there is a whole ton of roof grit all over my back deck and roof shingle debris on my lawn that I am now going to have to clean up. I am disabled, so this is going to be a big hassle for me.-They try to upsell services to you, and in doing so they tell you that you need to clean your gutters 4+ times a year. This is not true--twice a year is the most I've ever seen recommended anywhere else. I don't mind the upselling--they're a business--but I do mind flat out lying.Lack of predictability, dishonesty, and leaving a big mess to clean up means I would not use this company again.

They came when I wasn’t home and cleaned my gutters. They also let me know of certain problems they detected that need to be addressed. The price was very reasonable with a first time customer coupon which was very nice. They are very professional.

They've been cleaning my gutters for 3 years. Their crew is well trained, they can get on your roof, clean your gutters (and do an excellent job) in under 10 minutes. Price is fair, considering we are experiencing inflation.

They bought a small local company that was previously cleaning my gutters. The cleaning went well, although the scheduling was off. When I reached out to have them come back on the appropriate day, I was told to schedule more cleanings. They spam with emails and text messages which is annoying.Again, the cleaning itself was fine, but def lost the local company touch.

I really needed my gutters cleaned in October. However, when Ned Stevens Company came out, they realize they needed a taller ladder because of my townhouse size. They said they needed managers approval and they would get back to me. Eventually they got back to me and said it was approved and they would finish the job before the year is over. Mind you it’s two months now, I hear them pull up to my driveway and soon after drove off, when I called them they say they still need managers approval because the townhouse is tall. Im so frustrated because I gave them a chance and waited! I will not use them and I do not recommend them!

When the appointment was made I was told they would send a text to let me know the day and time. Received a text saying " We are on the way". I walked out to my living room and to my surprise they were already here and on the roof. I then get a call 10 minutes later that there is a problem with my gutters. The CSR that I spoke with did not explain what the problem was but sent me a picture. I told him to have them explain to me what was wrong. Went to my front door and they had flown the coop. I doubt they even cleaned my gutters in 20 minutes and never once heard water turned on. They did send another crew out the next day and they did at least run water through gutters but never told me what the supposed problem was.......

They mismeasured and selected the wrong color for the gutters when they visited my home. The sales person then proceeded to blame me for the errors. After taking my deposit in advance of the initial meeting, it has now been over 60 days, and they refuse to give a deposit back. There are other gutter, cleaners out there… I even told them this review was coming in the event they did not send my deposit back. I guess it just wasn’t that important to them.

They were scheduled to appear yesterday. They did not show up and did not bother contacting us. We called and were not able to get through but left a message asking if they were still coming and when. We told them if they could not come yesterday, we would not be able to do it the next day and they would need to call to reschedule.This morning, we get a text that says they are going to come this morning. You cannot respond to the text, so we waited on hold forever. We told the rep we finally talked to that we had two other service people coming this morning--emergency plumbing and prescheduled leaf removal--and she told us they would not come until after 2 PM.Almost right away, we get another text saying they are on their way. Once again, I call and tell them in no uncertain terms we cannot accommodate another service person this morning, let alone have them tromping all over when people are trying to remove leaves from the front and side yards and when our back yard is being dug up by the plumber. The lady I spoke to said she will "email" them, very odd not to call them, and call us if they cannot come this afternoon.A little while later, and with no phone call, I start hearing clomping sounds on the roof. I looked out and saw that the gutter cleaners had parked in the very beginning of the driveway, blocking out any other vehicles. The leaf people had to park on the birm across the street. The plumber called us saying he needed to get into the driveway because he had heavy machinery to use on the septic system.We only have one car and I had parked it to the extreme side of the parking pad out of the way.I call AGAIN and express my displeasure to someone named "Sayeed" and he just says, well go out and tell them to leave. No apology whatsoever. No acknowledgement that they have ALREADY messed up our other services, and they are already ON THE ROOF, and there are already TWO other trucks wanting to get in who can't.The plumber is my hero because he came on foot and kicked the gutter people out so he could get started on fixing the septic system EMERGENCY that these clowns prevented work on.I literally would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

These people are out to get your money and that's that. They show up unnanounced and without us requesting gutter cleaning, and then charge us $177 for the "service." They will not accept that WE DIDN'T REQUEST THE SERVICE, and are forcing us to pay a service WE DIDN'T REQUEST. We, of course, paid, but seriously, they didn't even have the decency of not charging for the UNREQUESTED service. We've told them time and time again that we do NOT want to be on a monthly gutter cleaning plan, but they keep doing it and they don't even ask permission to do it, they just go on the roof, do it, and leave. It's criminal what they are doing, absolutely criminal.

I have been a customer of Ned Stevens, Gutter Cleaning, for 20 years. Upon completion of maintenance to the gutters, I found a tag on the door advising, "your service is complete, but we found an issue." Please call for details". I called, and they suggested that I have the house power washed.Ned Steven's crew arrived with two garden hoses and proceeded to water my trees and plants before hosing the siding. Upon questioning, I realized the workers had a limited understanding of English. I called the office and was advised the company does not do a power wash; they do a soft wash.After the team hosed the siding, it did not appear cleaner, and the white gutters were streaked and stained. I called the office to complain about the mess, and Ned Stevens advised they only do the siding and are not responsible for staining the gutters. This 'soft wash' cost $500.00. I am very disappointed in this company and the mess they created, customers beware!Service: Power/pressure washing

Always do the best job. Never leave even a trace of even being there, except for leaving the area spotless. All businesses should be this good.I have been dealing with them for about 20 years and in the 20 years of them servicing my gutters I have never had a problem.Ned Stevens sets the standards by which all others should be judged when it comes to the quality of work and service they give.

Downgrade from Gutter Maid. Ned Stevens rarely shows up during the timeframe window they provide. And they usually don’t let you know they’re coming in advance.The gutter cleaning service is comparable, but the customer service is not close.

Ned Stevens has installed our home gutters. One of down sprouts' nail and hold band came off and it thus would fall off itself. I called them for repairs but they refused to fix for free but instead I will have to find own contractor to the repair on my own expense. They suggested to pay for a new gutter cleaning service and then they will do the repairs

Very disappointed in your service. I called because I needed a gutter cleaning and paid extra for same day service because we were expecting a big rain and my gutters were causing my neighbors basement to flood. I expressed from the very first call that I wanted to be present when the work was done because I wanted to show them what was happening to my neighbors house. Was told " We dont need you there but will text an hour ahead". I received a text and left work to meet techs and arrived 35 mins later and the techs had come and gone and left a note that there were problems. I called and was told that I need new gutters. I paid for new gutters and was told that they couldnt even tell me what day the company would come and again they reiterated that I didnt need to be there, even though I wanted to be there. I receive a text the next morning that they are an hour away (even though just the day before they told me that they couldnt schedule a date) and I left work at the last minute again to meet them. I arrived in 40 mins and the new gutters were installed and workers were gone. Again, I couldnt speak to them to make sure that my neighbors flooding issue was fixed. I called the 800# again and told them that the problem didnt appear to be fixed and they sent someone else out to fix the extension on the drain (on a third visit, where I wasnt present) and I believe the problem may be fixed now. I feel a bit taken advantage of because things were not explained to me. I dont know for sure if the services I paid for were even needed. Do better by the customer. Just because you do your work outside doesnt mean the customer doesnt want to be present. I couldnt even get the rep to nail down what day you were coming. Very shady service and I regret using your company. I am a single woman who is not knowledgeable of the intricacies of these things and would have liked to understand what I paid for and why. At the end of the day, Im not 100% sure that I ever even needed new gutters considering this company consistently dodged seeing me in person and the issue was the drainage (which they also never replaced).

I received a quote to perform two services: 1. roof cleaning and sidewalk cleaning for removal of moss. This scope of work was observed during a yearly gutter cleaning. I accepted the quote and waited for several months to get the job done. Once the workers got here they said that the quote was wrong and that my sidewalk is too large. I said ok then just do the roof and they said no. Once the office called back the price doubled from the orginal estimate... I kindly requested my money back and told them to take me off of their call list. I do not recomend them.Service: Rooftop/skylight cleaning

I appreciate having the service you provide, especially since I am now a little too old to be cleaning my own gutters. My only concern is with the increasing cost each year. Is there a way to have a special discount for seniors? Otherwise, many of us on fixed incomes may have to eventually reduce or even cancel your service. Thanks.

I would rate Ned Stevens Gutter Cleaning Services with 3 stars. The team is very professionalism, thorough and friendly. A very customer originated business, except for their yearly price increases. It would be a good practice to concern giving seniors a discount or a discount to returning customers. I do not think it is necessary to increase your prices each year. Just a thought

Upsell, upsell, upsell. They tried to upsell me on unnecessary stuff many times. Annual service plans, mold removal, replacing the entire gutter system...Not only that but they said they had to remove my gutter guards to clean the gutters after they had already arrived at my house...well, I know why there were gutter guards before, and also why they wanted to remove them. Because my gutters are clogging up 2 or 3 times a year. So I have to reinstall the gutter guards or give the gutter cleaning companies more money. Really unhappy with their service and it's going to cost me money and headache in the long run.
