Fernando was just extremely polite , professional and clean in servicing our chimney and resecuring the chimney cover. We also had some cracks in the interior and he is drawing up proposal to address. Would highly recommend this company. Making the appointment was easy and they came on time!

Manuel and his team were incredible. They showed up on time and worked efficiently and effectively to replace our chimney cap with new concrete and power washed all the white residue off the bricks. When the appointment was originally set up, Alex explained everything that was going to happen. We compared several quotes from different companies and Potomac Services had the best to offer with great reviews. Today, when Manuel showed up with his team, they worked very hard on getting the job done. Manuel answered all of our questions along the way and explained everything to us after the job was completed. He showed us a picture of what the top of the chimney looked like. It looks like we have brand new bricks! I would use them again for any services… In a heartbeat!

Potomac Services team, led by Manuel, were contracted to demolish some old brick around our wood burning fireplace, install a platform for a new surround, and raise the firebox floor one course of fire brick. The project went according to their estimated time, the team was punctual on a daily basis, the surrounding areas were protected from dust, customer input was sought at critical decision points, and masonry work was high quality. Manuel provided excellent recommendations throughout the process. Thank you!

Sometimes it’s the little things that count, sometimes it’s the service - in case of Potomac Services, it’s all of it: starting with their answering machine, it’s clear, short and gets you to the right service center in a single choice.I got lucky on the appointment as there was an early morning slot ready the very next day I called.Booking the appointment as a first time customer was quick and painless.The service itself was outstanding: the technicians arrived on item, were extremely courteous, and neat. They installed blankets to protect our floor and spent ~1h on our fireplace.The job was done perfectly and I feel 100% confident they inspected and fixed every single issue we had, and likely fixed a bunch that we didn’t know we had!I warmly recommend their services.

Update on 3/25:The team quickly sent someone out to address the continued leak, which I appreciated. I hope it finally fixes the issue. That day, an associate told me that the previous work done only addressed some of the mortar issues on the chimney, not all. However, when I initially agreed to do the work, I was told that all the mortar would be replaced at that time. I am definitely questioning the integrity / honesty of team members at this point. I'll need to do more homework on local chimney service providers in the area.Update on 3/23/24:The leak has returned during a heavy rain. Will update review upon resolution.Update on 3/19/24:I’m updating review because leak persisted in fireplace after paying for a significant amount of work to be completed. Months later, another technician identified that the crown needed to be repaired. While the company did offer a discount to finally repair the leak, this is something that should have been identified during the initial inspection and the first set of fireplace repairs.***Carlos and Ian were prompt, professional, and courteous. Will recommend to others.

Carlos was great! He did a great job, going above and beyond the standard cleaning and inspection to fix a leaky chimney cap and remove a slab from the flue. He answered all my many questions thoroughly, giving me a better understanding of how the fireplace works. This is our second year using Potomac Services, and we love the company.
