Snell replaced 2 systems in my home. I had some difficulty when initially installed. The first installers made a huge cut through a section of wall, cutting a stud unnecessarily! It was a most ridiculous error. However, an installation manager came out, reviewed the install and agreed that it needed a ”re-do”. A second team that I’d call the “A Team” came back and made quick work of the necessary details. Nathan Owsley and Howard Shifflett are the best. They are detailed, knowledgeable, professional and creative. Snell still needs to send a drywall repair to correct the initial install snafu. I’ll update my review once that’s complete. Stay tuned.

I am very happy with the service I received from Eduardo, Maximiliano (Max), and Charnin (on the job training). They arrived on time, were very friendly, and were very efficient in bringing my electrical system (from the 1970's) up to code. They answered all of my questions about the upgrade - that included new outside wiring, a new cover box, a new electrical panel box, and running a grounding wire from the panel box to the water shutoff valve (inside) so efficiently there was only one small hole in my laundry ceiling (yay!). Charnin brought the new cover box (the old one was not useable), and assisted Eduardo and Max. I am so impressed with theses guy that I will use Snell for other inside lighting upgrades that I am planning. I am so EXCITED - now I feel safe!

Couldn’t be happier. 10 out of 10!From the start, Trevor was pleasant on the phone and got me in right away. Our technician, Lloyd was knowledgeable, friendly, professional and went above and beyond to try and get our system up and going (even though we both knew the compressor was DOA). Kevin was our Salesman who was able to come by later in the evening because of my work schedule and was also very professional and knowledgeable. He gave his recommendations based off our budget and needs and gave us a trade-in discount for the old system. Our install was better than expected. Both Joshua and Dan were friendly, professional, on-time, neat and very knowledgeable. Both guys said on multiple occasions how much they love what they do and it shows! The guys also showed us why our last system died before its time (installed by another company that was negligent in proper maintenance and installation of the original unit). We learned a lot from Josh and Dan and are very happy with our new HVAC system and Snell. Thanks Snell!

Snell delivered exceptional and professional service like I have never experienced from a business. Michael, the technician, was an outstanding professional. He took his time diagnosing, repairing & replacing the damaged items in my HVAC system that were caused by faulty and improper maintenance by another contracted company that serviced my unit. Michael showed me all the damaged parts and the new parts he was replacing. He answered all my questions promptly and made excellent recommendations as to continued maintenance and optimal operating procedures. Michael covered his shoes while walking on my hardwood floors and cleaned up once finished. I’m highly satisfied with the professional work performed and have acquired them as my HVAC maintenance provider. I upmost recommend their services as their prices are comparable and within reason especially if you find yourself in need of emergency service. Try them, you won’t regret it. This was not the first time we used Snell Home Services to take care of a household problem. This visit, like those in the past, was on time...with a 30 minute heads up that the technician was on his way. He replaced a basement light fixture, a porcelain pull cord type, in what felt like under 15 minutes. Alex was professional, cordial, and clearly very experienced. The overall cost was fair, and considering how well this repair went, we'll be sure to call on Snell for any future electrical repair needs. Highly recommend these folks to you without any reservations. Slainte !

From the initial consultation, my wife and I have been super impressed with Snell.Gary came out to perform a thorough analysis on our old system, and was very honest and detailed in his assessment, providing us with multiple options and recommendations.Julian came out to provide a quote, walked us through our current system, what the snell team would update, and was very knowledgeable about how our current system works and what the company could provide. He was also very flexible as we were looking at other options, and was able to work with us to find a system at a price point we were comfortable with (and overall better than competitors).Daniel and Ben came out to install the system, and were extremely friendly, knowledgeable, diligent, and walked us through the entirety of the system and pictures of the install process once complete. I was very impressed with the amount of work and detail they accomplished in one day.Post install, Robin followed up to take a picture of the thermostat and make sure our account had all of the records needed. Sabrina was very knowledgeable in the permit process and quickly got an inspection scheduled.Overall, every interaction has been a pleasant one, and I look forward to having snell as an our HVAC provider and recommendation for others going forward.

Before we went with Snell, we had quotes from 3 other companies that just weren’t listening or trying to sell us something we didn’t want/need. Once we contacted Snell everyone from the sales associate to the technicians were fantastic. They were incredibly professional, courteous, and attentive. They listened and worked with me to decide what system would be the best for our home. We decided to purchase the system and the installation was scheduled for the following day. The crew showed up within the window, went over the complete project, answered questions I had and encouraged me to feel free to come by, watch them work, and ask questions. Before they left they went over the complete system in detail and ensured that I was satisfied with the work and understood how to use everything. Super impressed with the company overall and really glad we went with them.

Tony, Snell’s technician provided excellent service! He arrived on time, was courteous, friendly and took time to explain what he was doing to complete the service. He showed me what needed to be done and how he would do the job. He was very informative and told me what I needed to do for the future plumbing concerns. Eduardo Cabrera did an outstanding job making numerous electrical repairs at a townhouse I just purchased as a rental investment. He obviously knew his stuff and knew exactly what do do for each repair from smoke detectors to outlets to switches to junction boxes and lights. Also, he did a great job recently at my own home on an electrical switch repair. I would recommend him and Snell highly. They were on time and fairly priced.Service: HVAC system maintenance

Snell did everything you would want in the installation of a completely new furnace and A/C system. They arrived promptly, worked diligently, and Gabe Schick kept me fully informed throughout the process and did a very complete briefing upon completion of the install. Dan Holland's ductwork was beautifully done. And Dennis Torres' help was also invaluable, especially on the work requiring heavy lifting and careful positioning of parts.Very satisfied with the end result.

We were really disappointed with Snell when we had our routine yearly Tune Up done (4/28/2024) as per the Snell marketing flyer sent to my home "Book an A/C tune-up now for $89 and get free fall Heater tune-up". The technician tinkered with our AC, which has never had any issues and told me that the system were going to be broken soon due to too much gas and cannot be repaired (?) He then used a scare tactic on us to try to get us to install a new AC unit with them. He went on to set appointment with a Snell sales person to come to present us with the replacement A/C the next day (we have not decided to buy the new system) The technician did not work on the tune-up but instead focused only on persuading us to buy a new system! He still charged $89 without giving me the maintenance report and the receipts saying he will email to us, but evidently he did not! My system continued working until 3 days later, 5/2/2024 the system produced no cool air though still running. We are people in the 80 year-old , so this was really awful with the summer heat. We ended up calling another HVAC company, (7:00 am 5/3/24) who found down that the system was empty of gas, they also showed us the gas cap was not tightened properly allowing gas leaking out. the system therefore could not produce any cool air. They then refilled gas and just a half an hour later, the system provided plenty of cool air, this HVAC company told me that the system works fine, no needs to replaced with new one! They charged us $600 for the gas refill although they waived the emergency call surcharge to fix the problem that the Snell employee had caused. Either it was gross negligence or Snell technician tampered with our AC. We will NOT be using Snell again. They, Snell technician is not honest and no professionalism at all!

I contacted Snell Plumbing first thing in the morning after noticing an issue with my water softener system. An appointment was quickly scheduled for the same day by the office and the technician arrived at my two hours later as promised. Martin Steele, my technician, was knowledgeable, polite and friendly. Mr. Steele did a thorough assessment of the system and contacted the manufacture for additional information. Mr. Steele determined that the system’s timing mechanism needed to be reset and minor maintenance was overdue. Mr. Steele will be returning in a couple of days to complete the work. I was extremely satisfied with the service that I received and I look forward to using Snell in the future.

Michael Maturo was really excellent! He was very professional and took the time to explain everything to me in great detail. I feel very confident with his diagnosis and appreciate his time and effort. I will also say that Snell Home Services was extremely quick to provide service. They were actually recommended to me by someone I know and I’ve also seen them in my neighborhood quite a bit! I would personally recommend this company and will certainly keep them on speed dial!

Recently, Snell performed repairs to our sump pump alarm and replaced the backup battery. Their response was fantastic. A service rep came the same day of our call. Logan quickly diagnosed the issue and performed a thorough inspection of the entire pump system. The required parts were ordered and installed within a week of the initial call. Snell is highly responsive and charges a fair price. We would definitely use them again and recommend the company.

Did a thorough inspection and preventive maintenance of my AC unit inside and outside explaining everything: The pro and cons of any decision I have to make to ensure good air quality and sustained life of my unit. I just had a new boiler and water heater installed. The whole experience was great. Jason was terrific in informing about the equipment, its function, and cost. I thought the cost was good and fair. The day of the install, the guys were terrific. They were informative, considerate (wore booties in the house) and cleaned up after themselves. The equipment is working beautifully. Max, Cesar, Joshua and John were the install team. I think the company did a great job using email and texts to alert me of their arrival and to confirm appts. Great job all around !! :)

No hot water. Technician (Tony S.) arrived on time, did some troubleshooting and confirmed what I thought--the valve thermostat on the water heater needed to be replaced. Took the time to track down a supplier with one in stock as most stated the part would be a two day wait. Then worked to find me the best price for the job!! Install was fast, no water spills (heater needed to be drained), thorough clean up and Tony did not leave until he was sure that the water heater was properly working. Great experience and highly recommend.

Mohammad from Snell came today to perform a checkup on my HVAC system. He was unbelievably thorough and explained everything he was doing and looking for each step of the way. He explained how each subsystem worked as part of the whole. I always watch the procedures and processes when a repair person comes to my home, as I am always interested in how these devices function. My hovering presence didn’t seem to bother Mohammad at all. He was very informative and pleasant!

We had a technician visit today to give us an estimate on work we want to do. We had been told that he would arrive between 8 am and noon and that we would get a 1/2 hour notice that he was on his way. He arrived at 11:57 am and the notification that he was on his way arrived at noon. The technician was very cordial and informative. He was fine. The price estimate that he quoted though was exorbitant. We were told that all work was done on a job basis (no hourly fee) and in our case, I did not feel that the amount of work and materials justified such a high price. I would have much rather paid a materials and hourly fee for this service. It could never amount to the figure we were quoted.

The Snell plumbing technician, Martin S., did a superb job replacing a toilet and a few other basement water lines that were either failing or about to fail. I greatly appreciated his phone call alerting me to the time of his arrival and then his phone call when the job was finished. Martin was friendly, courteous, and professional. The job site was clean and tidy when he completed his work. He also pointed out a bathroom electrical outlet that wasn't GFCI protected. The entire job from dispatching, estimating, scheduling, repairing, and billing was handled professionally. I have two homes and a rental that Snell services. I have been a customer of theirs for twenty years. I am delighted to see that they've expanded their services from heating and cooling to plumbing and electrical. I'm sure you could find a service provider for lower prices if you searched diligently, but you won't get the long-term value that Snell--or Martin S.--offers.
