We recently had Windows on Washington replace all the windows in our home and were very happy with their work from beginning to end. The estimator was very clear about options and costs and presented us with a lot of information, including links to external sites. On doing our own research, everything he told us was true and the costs were in line with the estimate we received. The installer came to measure and also provided further details about our installation day. The crew who did the installation was very efficient and professional and they completed all our windows in one day, and capped it off with a walkthrough and instructions on cleaning and caring for the different windows types we had installed. A great experience from beginning to end and we love our new windows! Highly recommend Windows on Washington!

For those looking for the absolute cheapest place to get windows and siding no matter how good the reviews are for another company, then you can stop reading now. WOW is not the cheapest; in fact, they do not want to be known for being a bargain basement shop. What they are is a place to get a reasonable price with outstanding quality and excellent customer service.My project was quite large. Our house is now over 25 years old, and we are the 3rd owners. Unfortunately, we never replaced any windows, fixed almost no trim, and while our siding was in okay shape, the builder cheaped out and didn’t bother to put Tyvec on the house. So, our windows were allowing wind to literally blow around the edges, there was water visible between the panes of glass, and with a strong wind gust, we could feel wind blowing through the light switches and outlets since there was no wrapping on the house. Further, during the summer, the poor quality windows would allow the sun to pass right through the glass and guests would be sweating while sitting in our kitchen. It was long past time to replace everything, sadly we came to this decision post-Covid and prices are at least 30% higher than pre-Covid.We shopped 4 different places, one was 20% cheaper, one was well over 20% more (and didn’t even do siding) and the other was comparable. The cheaper place sold reasonable windows, but when I went and looked at a house they did, the trim wrapping looked terrible. If this was an example of something they wanted me to see, then I was pretty turned off. After talking with WOW, and reading their reviews, we decided they were the right ones to use.We replaced 28 windows with Okna high efficiency triple pane windows, 2 sliding glass Okna doors and one Provia French door. We replaced our old Vinyl siding, Tyvec wrapped around the entire hours, and swapped the siding to Alside’s Ascend Composite product, which has qualities of Hardie Plank that we liked, has a wood look to it, is insulated and is a bit lower cost (it's more than Vinyl). We also capped ALL of our wood trim, replaced all our gutters, and all our soffits. This was a big, big job.The biggest pain was waiting for things to arrive. This was not WOW fault, it is simply the Covid supply chain world we live in. Once things arrived, they were reasonable in setting up the installation dates. Windows and glass doors were done first. The crew was awesome. They were insanely fast. They basically had this done in about 2 days. That’s a tremendous amount of work in such a short time. The windows look great, although the slight green hue from Low-E is something you must get used to seeing. The Provia door had to be installed separately once it arrived. The biggest job was the siding, trim, etc. This was about a week’s worth of work. The crew arrived early, worked late, was courteous, and cleaned up each night. The gutters were installed a bit later – shockingly they bend and cut their own gutters using the metal to match the trim, so they coordinate perfectly.As the project came towards completion, there were a few issues we had to rectify. I worked with the owner, Eric, and everything was resolved to our satisfaction. In the end, when it came to final payment, there were some things we owed them for and some things they owed us for; Eric simply said let’s call it even. I wish other companies would realize how much better a customer feels with that type of treatment as opposed to arguing about a few dollars here or there.We and our neighbors love how our house looks. Several have already told us they are planning to use WOW when they go to upgrade. In fact, one of our neighbors already did their house with WOW based on our recommendation from just our interactions with the sales department. Every part of my experience with Windows on Washington (WoW) was excellent. From the time I contacted them for information, to setting up my initial appointment to get an estimate, to ordering, installation and customer service (more on this in a minute) were simply second to none. Based on other reviews, I knew WoW was not the cheapest place for windows but I also read of the great quality products, installation and customer service. Let me say that their pricing is comparable and more than fair, and their products, service and installation are simply outstanding. I love my new windows! This is one of the very few places that vastly exceeded my expectations. Don't get the wrong impression that everything went perfectly. It did not. Based on the fact that some of my windows vary slightly in size, the manufacturer sent a couple of windows with the incorrect handles. This is where WoW stepped up and demonstrated why they have the best customer service. They worked with the manufacturer to correct the issue and made it 100% right. They worked as my advocate each step of the way and made sure I was completely happy before calling the job complete. There was no effort required on my part as WoW took care of everything. I only wish every business were as ethical and service oriented.As for the windows themselves, they are top quality and perfectly installed. And I do mean perfectly! My house looks better and is quieter and more comfortable. The windows are so solid that they feel and sound like mini bank vault doors. Cosmetically, the area around the windows (inside and out) looks and is better than before. There are no marks, scratches, dings, leaks, air gaps, nothing. We have had our windows for a couple of months now and dealt with rain, snow and very high winds (40 mph+ gusts). From the inside of my house, you cannot tell what the weather is outside. I give Windows on Washington my highest recommendation and suggest you give them a call if you are considering new windows!

All questions, phone calls, and concerns are addressed fully and in a timely fashion. Very happy with my windows and the service provided. We had 8 non-standard windows and 3 sliding glass doors replaced, so it was a big and pricey job. We had several quotes and WoW was very competitive in their pricing. We really appreciated that the sales rep who came for our initial estimate wasn't doing a hard sell, but instead gave us a very thorough and informative description of the window options, benefits, etc. We learned more from this person than any of the other companies that gave us quotes. After deciding to work with WoW, they were easy to communicate with and kept us updated through the whole process. On instillation day they took great care with ensuring everything was done correctly and cleaning up after, then walking us through each window to ensure that we checked each one out. The workmanship was fantastic, and 3 months later and we couldn't be more pleased with our new windows.

I went with windows on washington not because they were the cheapest (they weren't) but because they were the most professional. I didn't want cheap, I wanted good and boy, did I make the right call. We had 2 windows removed and replaced with a 13ft wide trio of picture windows that are just beautiful. Special shout out to Shayne, thanks for making all those contact changes when we changed our minds. Tayna, thanks for taking our money, it was very well spent, Becky, thanks for keeping us up to date, Tom, thanks for your knowledge and confidence and not letting us worry about the little things. I wanted to share with you my experience with Windows on Washington as we recently replaced 7 large sliding windows, inside white and outside custom painted color to match existing windows in our house with their products. We had initially considered other brands but found that the quality and price of the Okna 500 windows offered by Windows on Washington was superior to the competition.We had originally planned to replace the windows in 2018, but due to some other issues, we had to put the project on hold. When we decided to proceed with the renovation project in 2020, I booked an appointment online with Zach, who was able to find our information and old invoice from the company system. Although the cost of materials had increased since our initial appointment, Zach worked with us to find an end-of-year promotion discount, which helped to keep the cost reasonable.The installation process was very smooth, and the crew was professional and efficient. While a little shaky in the beginning, our overall experience with WoW was great. Our sales rep was extremely knowledgeable of all of the offered products, gave us a fair and balanced opinion on competitors and their products and at the end of the day, reached a fair deal with a no strings attached price. Communication about our order was clear and actually arrived well before our promise date (COVID supply chain issues have pretty much been solved for by now).Installation day was quick and thorough. The installers told us what was happening, made us aware of any possible issues we had with the structure of our home (we had a tiny amount of rot that we weren’t aware of) and the front and read doors were installed in about 3-4 hours. We had a few issues with our order in terms of fitment and after making WoW aware of them a few weeks later, the president himself came to our home the day after Thanksgiving to personally see to it that everything was taken care of and to our satisfaction. Truly a stand-up guy and one that is 100% involved in every aspect of his business.When the time comes to order windows for our home, we will be ordering from WoW.

The windows are fairly priced and gorgeous, but as important is the fact that the crew arrived -- on time and with many, many skilled workers, each of whom had a function and was fully engaged, so that all of my windows (7) were replaced in just over two hours, with perfect clean-up inside and out. I only have wonderful things to say about my Windows On Washington (WoW) experience. 100% recommend to all in the DC area who are looking to replace their windows. The entire process was professional and PRESSURE-FREE. Buying windows is expensive and when you go around and get quotes most salespeople from other window companies overwhelm you with presentations and ridiculously high numbers and try to pressure you to "sign now" or some today-only discount will disappear, etc. In stark contrast, WoW treated me with respect and Zack (my sales rep) was incredibly patient while expertly answering all my questions, selecting the best window type for my situation, and dealing with HoA requirements in my neighborhood. And even after my work unexpectedly took me away for travel, other members of the WoW team were extremely communicative and flexible with scheduling my install date. The install itself was perfect. Joon is one of their master installers and he and his team were incredibly efficient and clean and replaced all 16 windows in my job within 8 hours. The Windows on Washington team provided excellent customer service from beginning to end. They replaced my double-hung wood windows with vinyl windows and I couldn't be more pleased with the product or the workmanship. After I contracted with them, a technician came to the house to measure my windows. After that, the customer service team kept me apprised of the status of the windows as they were being manufactured; later, they worked wonderfully with me regarding the installation date. On the day of the replacement/installation, the crew showed up on time, protected my floors with tarp, removed old windows and installed the new ones; they worked together like a well-oiled machine! Can't say enough about the transparency, professionalism, and quality of work from this company and its employees. From our initial consultation and assessment with Greg Schwartz to our installation lead by Young Kim, and everything in between with the office staff (Becky & Tanya), things could not have gone smoother. They gave us timely and informative updates through the process as our windows were being manufactured and when we got put on the installation schedule. The installation team themselves were extremely polite, professional and went out of their way to be careful with the outside landscaping and keeping the inside of the house clean. Young even notified us when he found issues with some of the existing window surrounds and steps the team would take to fix things. The difference with our new windows was immediately noticeable from the insulation and sound difference to the AC barely running with some of the already warm days. My wife and I cannot say enough about this company. It was a breath of fresh air dealing with them after getting several quotes from the other major competitors in the area and nationwide. Truth be told, it felt like dealing with the proverbial used car salesman when we were getting estimates from the other window companies. As soon as Greg walked in, no pressure, informative, and clearly was "working" for business as opposed to trying to "trick us" into another sale. If you're in the market for new windows, go with WoW. Windows on washington is an excellent company that stands by the quality of their work, and makes sure the customer is well taken care of. We have had a number of projects done by WOW. We've had our front and rear windows replaced. Our sliding glass doors. Our deck and railing. The external wood on the house. The skylight. The work has been substantial, and always done with attention and care.Even when there were issues with supplies, or a problem with a contracted out part (re-welding a metal railing), they made sure everything was fixed, done right, and that we were taken care of.I would highly recommend them for any housing project you need!

I can't say enough wonderful things about this company. We have used Windows on Washington for several years for two different properties. The professionalism, quality of work, and attention to the detail is outstanding. Joon, an installer, is incredible. I don't think anybody can install windows and doors better than this man - and I am really really picky. He spends time making sure everything is absolutely perfect. Joon just replaced our sliding door and even ended up replacing some of our subfloor he noticed was rotted. He really goes over everything with a fine tooth comb. We are very pleased with WOW and use them for all our window and door replacement projects.

He provided information on your windows manufacturer so I could do research on that company. He explained any additional costs I might incur if they found damage and provided estimates for that work. I was very nervous about this large purchase, but felt very comfortable with the information he provided and how he covered all known possible issues I might encounter.
