Went to Lowes and bought over a$1,000.00 in lumber and couldn't get anyone to help load it up. So ridiculous to spend that much money at a place and can't get any help. Plenty of people just walking around doing nothing. Really wished we had a Home Depot around close.

The absolute worst customer service of any store I have ever shopped at. I recently purchased a house near Wise VA and needed everything. In the last 2 weeks I have spent over $3000. dollars there. I have been helped with almost nothing, waiting for someone to get someone to help takes forever .Twice I just walked out of the store. Last time asst mgr. Tyler Beverly was so rude I vowed to never go back.

Typical big box home improvement would have given a higher rating but their bathrooms are always nasty and the last few times ive been there there are no cashiers working to check me out leaving the only option self check out which really sux because I often shop for clearance items that hardly ever ring up as marked making the whole experience a pita i only shop here if I have to

I ordered an $800 shower stall online. Delivered to the wise lowes. I tried calling doe a specific question. I called 22 times and after the automated operator finish, I had dead air for about 3 minutes and then would get cut off.

The name needs to be changed to slowes,not lowes,if it not for a couple employees I wouldn't even shop their. When I as a customer help staff help other customers, no good. Cashiers are great tho. When they block contracts sales door way on a Monday for delivery is stupid

Girl at Customer service desk , basically stating she didn’t have time to pull up my phone number and order an additional 2 solar lights after I spent $7000 on an aluminum fence ( doing this to make sure I reordered the correct ones to match ) put me on hold for 7 minutes, so I called back the she told me this was a working desk and she would find someone to do it , I waited 10 minutes on hold . Approximately 1:45 in wise va. On Dec 5th . Very rude person, shouldn’t be in customer service if you don’t want to be of service. Have had an account for years with no problems until now. No light ordered today.

This store had the general selection of products you'd expect from Lowe's. The staff was courteous enough. However, there was only one employee working the lumber area (which is understandable, it was a Sunday) and he was busy servicing another patron. Now, I had asked 4 different employees for assistance in finding what I needed. 2 employees told me " If it's not in X look in Y" and two others(at the customer service area) sent me to the already occupied lumberyard worker. Ended up taking me 1½ hrs to find & pack the order to the cash register.This is why I rate this store 3⭐2nd visit 10/11/23: found one(ONE) person who help me find the items I was seeking. Out of the 6 people I asked for assistance, 2 spun me off in a general direction, 2 had no clue of anything, 1 didn't know the department she was sent to work in, but she did call for assistance and the gentleman that arrived was courteous and knowledgeable. Took me an hour to locate all the items on my list (most in the final 10 minutes of the excursion). Corporate needs to focus on employee working knowledge and customer involvement. 3⭐

Didn’t realize you can’t take your purchase with you when you buy a refrigerator. They don’t keep appliances in stock now. Have waited 10 days for a delivery that was suppose to happen between the hours of 11am-3pm. Still hadn’t seen delivery by 4:30pm. Call them and they can’t tell me where my delivery is! Next purchase which will be soon will not be purchased at Lowe’s!

Great selection of items however this place must have the most well conditioned sales associates in the county because they are continually running from customers. It is not uncommon to see a group of employees congregated together but as you approach they split up and go into hiding. So go prepared to help yourself.

I went in there for a wash machine and the boy sold me a dryer and I have been on hold and gave the run around on the phone since I live an hour and some away from the store not really happy about my experience

In my opinion the best lowes in our area. Very helpful and definitely cleaner. All their lumber is inside in the dry, and you can load out of the rain. All they need to be perfect is support the veterans and first responders more by offering a discount. Which is each individual stores option to do it or not.

Went in for an appliance sale. Website said sale ends on Aug 23rd. No time was given in advertisement. We were in store before 2 pm in appliance section and employee said the sale ended at 12 pm today. Called another Lowes, they said the sale ends at midnight. Your employee is bad for your business.

I had a washer and dryer set that was bought 2 days ago. I was told that there were four in stocks and that my purchase was locked in and nothing would be sold out from under me. Well ithe washing machine wasn't delivered . When try calling to find out why they refused to call me back within 15mins as promised and wouldn't give me answers.

Understaffed. Worker didn’t really seem interested in assisting us with our questions. Just pointed us in the direction of what we were looking for. NO CHECK-OUTS OPEN!!! Only self-checkouts! A worker was “sweeping” the floor. I asked about a person to check us out and she mumbled something about not enough people working currently. Spent $500 on paint and supplies and had to check ourselves out. My husband had to lift 5 gallon bucket of paint with a hurt hand.

No one in this store knows what they are doing. The managers don’t care if you are satisfied or not with your purchase. When you ask for help they never have anyone to help you. Or they tell you the person that can help you isn’t working. When you Call the store you are lucky to speak to a manager because they never answer their phones. This store is a joke. And the managers running are a bigger joke. And if they don’t like what you say they just hang up. And never ask for Sherry because she doesn’t have a clue.

Service absolutely stinks. Called and spoke to 5 people before i was able to confirm they had item needed and price. UPon arrival young lady called for assistance for 30 minutes prior to then calling for a manger. Waited another 15 minutes to only find out not a single straight board in size. Managers only response: "you know how it is , nobody wants to work."

Terrible customer service. Terrible management. Take no responsibility for their mistakes. Incompetent, yet want to make $15/hr. Purchased a washer and dryer. They set up a delivery time. I took off a day of work. They never called and they never came. Starting calling them at 8pm that night and was on hold for over an hour. Nobody every answered. Called first thing this morning and was advised by the manager, Eugene, that the truck had just arrived with our washer and dryer and we can set up another time. Can't get it today because the truck has already left. Might be able to get it tomorrow but the driver will have to call me because they contract that service out. I asked if there was some kind of compensation for having us wait home all day and not coming at their assigned time or calling. He said nope and have a nice day. Needless to say Home Depot will be our new store of choice.

We were disappointed this trip, seems like nobody was working there tonight. Only self checkouts open. Couldn't find any help in kitchen faucet area. Intercom kept asking for help in paint, who knows if those people ever got help. We finally decided to buy somewhere else and just left.

Had to buy a new washer. A bad experience from get go. They hooked my water up wrong a d was rude as heck. On top of that I hate the washer. I guess it's good that it saves water but makes a mess of your clothes. Make sure you know what your buying. I just bought the cheapest one I found and paid the price.

Back in April 2022 my mother purchased roofing siding and gutters to be installed on her house by this Lowe’s. All was good until the papers was signed, and money was received. Now employees hide and blame others on why contractors cannot do the job that was promised, after contacting the CEO which will not respond to me himself but only passes the response to others below him. We are still waiting almost a year later for work to be done, even being told to find a contractor myself that is “Lowe’s” approved. DO NOT shop here, I have learned by this past experience and talking to some of the contractors that this company has nobody to do contract work and doesn’t tell you this until they take your money and doesn’t care that a 65 year old elderly lady is stuck paying payments on a job that hasn’t even been performed.

The last couple of visits to the wise lowes has been a terrible experience. There's literally no one to help and no cashiers in the front. Self check out only. The couple of people that are in the front are extremely hateful. Pathetic service.

I have called twice to speak with someone about returns. Phone rings numerous times. No one answers . Then it disconnects. So much for customer service. This is why I prefer Home Depot. I occasionally try Lowes because it is closer to me. But this is an example of the poor quality of service I get. Alot of poor reviews on here. I take it the general manager takes very little interest in the reviews and the quality of customer service at his store. So I feel it's time to reach out to Lowes HQ. And see what concern they may have on the situation here.
