Seth is a master of his craft. Unfortunately, that feels a bit of a rarity and so it stands out by comparison. He shows the skills and dedication to do an impeccable job at a very reasonable price.The chimney needed the mortar repointed, a new cap and most importantly, new flashing. Seth handled all with true expertise. He showed up when he said he would and stayed until it was finished. I couldn't recommend him more highly.

I would give like 8 stars if I could. Seth gave me a ton of information even before I committed to the work. He kept me updated the whole way through, and gave me photos that he took throughout the process. My chimney was leaking water into my wood stove and needed a full rebuild from the roof up. I'm extremely happy with the end result and it looks so much better than before.

We were in a pinch trying to get our house sold and Seth was the third person I called trying to get my chimney fixed and up to code. Thanks to him our fireplaces are able to be used which got our house sold quick. His work was efficient, quality work. He accommodated a tight schedule with us being out of town for a super reasonable price. If you’re trying to get your chimney work done don’t pass Seth up. His chimney work is far superior from anything I’ve ever seen. Not to mention his kind communication skills, allowing me to get on my roof with him to show me exactly what was going on. It's so hard to put into words the gratitude I have for Seth and the work he did on our Chimney. Our old chimney was a sponge, which caused roof and ceiling damage, along with a lot of stress. I knew most masons wouldn't want the job, so I'm so very thankful that he agreed to. The chimney required a partial rebuild, all new façade and of course a new crown. When he tells you he makes the most amazing show stopper crowns, believe me, he does! They truly are stunning. It was a huge project, but he never rushed. Leaving the area clean before he left daily too, which I really appreciated. He's very busy, but if you are lucky enough to get a quote from him, I highly suggest you take it! He's also a great guy to just chat with. My husband and I said we'll miss our daily Seth chats. :) From his detailed quotes/receipts, to the beautiful work he did, I can't imagine finding a better mason. We absolutely LOVE the result. Seth was hands down the most honest and reasonable contractor I've dealt with to date. From the first conversation throughout the entire process - I always felt Seth had our best interests in mind.After receiving a handful of quotes from other local masons - we were certain our chimney was destined for demolition.Seth came out (on a Saturday!) and spent a good deal of time assessing the chimneys condition with us. Seth just finished putting a crown on the chimney of my home and he did a fantastic job! From the initial estimate to the final product, Seth has been great to work with. During the estimate, Seth took the time to understand exactly what we were looking for in order to make sure that he was proposing the right level of work and that the end result would be just what we needed. I had a number of companies bid the job and I got far ranging opinions on what needed to be done and how much it would cost. I definitely felt that Seth focused on doing the "right" work. When the job was finished, Seth cleaned up the job site and you'd never even know he had large scaffolding up on the lawn and roof. He left everything exactly as he found it, except there is now a much improved chimney. Seth even took the time to fix a couple of items on the roof not directly related to the chimney, which was much appreciated. I would definitely recommend Seth to anyone needing masonry work.

I was working with a local roofing contractor for a roof replacement and was referred to Seth at Advanced Masonry as the roofers do not handle any chimney repair or inspection. Seth was able to walk me through a "remote inspection" by sending him some close-ups of my chimney.He was able to quote me for repair which ended up being substantial. Even better though, he offered up the idea of a complete removal of the chimney by the roofing contractor as it only houses my furnace gas insert. This ended up saving me $$$$ of dollars.I really appreciated Seth's honesty and proactive suggestions on the phone.

My chimney cap was lifting, along with widening gaps and cracks between brick and mortar. After seeing the one of a kind chimney crowns Seth builds I contacted him for a quote. Seth came out, assessed my chimney, got back to me with a quote within a day. Two weeks later Seth was onsite installing a new crown on my chimney, three days later the crown was complete. He also fixed some flashing issues and completely cleaned the brick surfaces, the entire work area was left clean and free of debris. Seth is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional, does high quality work, I will be contacting him for any future chimney work.

I needed maintenance and restoration on 2 chimneys within my 1951 home. One of the chimneys is rather large with 3 separate flues and the other chimney is a small appliance chimney. Seth arrived on time for estimate. We went on the roof together and he slowly talked me through all my options for restoration. We then looked through photos of his previous work of similar restorations. He proposed good solutions which were within my budget and would protect my chimneys from deterioration for years to come. After getting several estimates from other companies, I hired Seth to do the restoration. Seth arrived on time to do the work and finished within the window he said he would. I am very pleased with the quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail of the finished work. I will hire Seth again to do similar work at an investment property I own. Love love love this business. My chimney was leaking and needed repairing asap. Seth responded right away and continued to communicate throughout the project. He had to coordinate with roofers and tenants, and was always stellar with it. Price was fair, and he was accommodating. But the MAIN thing I loved was the people I had hired to do my roof did the flashing incorrectly, and I would have never known until a couple years down the line when my entire roof was rotted again. Seth told me about the problem, and refused to do work on top of it because he knew it wasn't structurally sound, and had already communicated with the roofer to fix it. AMAZING work ethic, and probably saved me 10k in having to repair it all again. Thank you Seth, the world needs more people like you
