This is the company to hire if you are looking for reasonable prices and accurate service. There is zero price gouging and unnecessary sales pressure you would experience with the larger commercial companies. When I was desperate and willing to pay, De Jong repaired my heater in a timely manner with a reasonable fee.

Our experience with DeJong heating and refrigeration was great! They came out quickly in the cold northeastern storm, diagnosed the problem with our heater, ordered the needed part and were back the next day to installed the part and fix the problem! I highly recommend them!

Called about having our water heater inspected/replaced. Fast and helpful service. Cleaned out our old water heater so the burner would stay on and we could have hot water until they could replace our tank - which ended up being the next day! The owner told me 3 different times that he'd call me back in 2 or 3 days, but not even ONE courtesy call back to let me know if he would give me a date or time to look at my air conditioner till Wednesday. Untrustworthy business company. Please don't let people keep waiting for your response or the service you couldn't even get some day. Thanks. Had a phone call back after the owner saw my rating and questioned me in regards to a single star, and I explained exactly what I have written in here, so the owner agreed to take a look at the ac unit a day later and within 7 hours he called me and refused to look at my home AC unit and said he thinks his review was awful and it would be wise to stay away from customers that rates his company so low. So now you all know that how this company rates the consumers, make an appointment and later cancel them as if nothing happens. Good luck to those who needs service from unreliable company and not keep up to their promises.

I can't praise De Jong Heating & Refrigeration enough - they have saved us thousands of dollars by helping us to maintain and keep our historic boiler running (when none of the other services we engaged - before learning about De Jong - had a clue and simply tried to sell us on totally replacing our system). Our particular thanks go to their awesome technician, Nate. The day will probably come when we'll have to retire our ancient boiler ... but it's good to know there are skillful people out there who can keep her going as long as possible. You guys rock.
