Alan completely removed and replaced my old rotten cantilever deck from my house with a modern and up to code deck with Trex. I am completely happy with his work. Alan is professional, courtesy and knowledgeable. I will definitely rehire him for any other future projects; as well I would recommend him to family and friends. Alan completed the project on time as quoted and I believe he would have most likely finished it before schedule if WA winter weather hadn’t gotten in our way. When we ran into a couple supply issues I asked Alan “If this was your house what would you do?” I’m glad I went with his suggestions over mine as it clearly turned out for the best. I also really liked the fact Alan was excited about this project from start to finish. You could tell he enjoys what he does, which is a reflection in his work and the completion of the build. I’m looking forward to spending this summer with my family and hosting BBQ for many years to come.Services: Deck construction, General repairs

I honestly can’t say enough good things about Alan. He built two beautiful, good sized decks for us, one at ground level and one at second story height. He’s very knowledgeable and highly skilled. He’s also very easy to work with and a great communicator. He conferred with us every step of the way to make sure he was giving us exactly the look and quality we wanted. We were getting our property ready to sell and needed our front porch redone with not a lot of time to spare. Alan was recommended to us by another contractor who did a kitchen for us. Alan was great with communicating (calling back, texting and emailing) very quickly. His price was fair and he went well beyond what was expected by helping us out and getting the project done on our schedule. We were so happy with the finished project and our only regret was that we didn't get it done earlier so we could enjoy it. Alan had really good design ideas and made the deck cost us less and look much better than what we had originally proposed. We would definitely recommend Gravity Construction.

Alan was a true professional! He came in to repair damages that were caused by my water heater bursting and flooding multiple rooms (garage, guest room and finished basement). He worked with me to find the best balance between quality and price of the materials we needed for the repairs. This is the third time I have used Alan for work on two different homes. He has built a deck, constructed a lot of fencing over a difficult multi level yard and most recently pergola rafters over a brick patio. He is fair, honest, timely and skilled. I have used Alan for multiple projects last year. He has installed new doors and locks in the house, built an interior wall, installed shower doors, installed shower doors, and a rooves on the decks. All is work is done well, in a reasonable time, and at reasonable cost. I plan to use him again in the future.
