Micheal from MJMax did a fantastic job on our home project! I can’t recommend him enough.*UPDATE 09/11/23* we used Micheal again for a deconstruction project, which involved some electrical work. He did a phenomenal job and left the area in clean condition. The deconstruction was thorough, precise, and nothing was damaged in the work area. We tested all the migrated electrical, which worked as expected. For this project, he was as reliable as the first. I believe Micheal is a true craftsman. Thank you once again!He was reliable, communicative, punctual, and provided a fair quote for his services. Before the estimate he answered all my questions, arrived for the estimate on time, and provided progress updates throughout the day of work. None of the contractors I’ve worked with have been this diligent and I appreciate all the hard work he put into our home.I want to emphasize that Micheal and his crew were respectful to our home. We can see that because it wasn’t left in a huge mess and nothing was damaged when he was there. During the project, I saw that he laid a drop cloth before loading a heavy steel bench, which helped protect our real hardwood floors. This attention to detail is appreciated and rare.Lastly, Micheal was incredibly quick. I’m not sure how long this was supposed to take, but he had everything done in a single day.It’s evident he works hard and takes pride in his craftsmanship. We had a range hood vent installation done by this construction company. He came alone and done the work all by himself. The range hood vent is heavy, I was surprise he could lift up the range hood vent and screwed it all by himself. Then, it turned out a very slappy work, he didn't paint the wall before he installed the range hood vent, he told us to paint it ourself. A piece of drywall is tearing apart form celling to the adjustable chimney. And a few month later the raining season start, we had water leaking from the vent through the wall, and many yellowish water marks remain on the wall, so we called the owner to fix the leaking issue. He came and applied some sealant around the vent to the roof, the water leaking seemed stop. He also put a piece of a duct tape to hold back the tearing apart celling. My kitchen looked ugly and terrible, many yellowish water marks remained on the wall and a piece of duct tape on celling. Their company website pictures looked beautiful, but the actual work quality is very poor and slappy. I will not recommend this company to anyone.Services: Installation, Kitchen remodeling
