Purchased appliances, this time it was a smoother experience. The order went well, communication was good, delivery personnel very professional. It raised my other reviews that I had encountered before. Hope this continues, we need a good local place that we can count on, and be treated as a customer not a hinderance.

Worst experience of any Home Depot I’ve been to. Called in a large wood order, they had it wrapped when we arrived. Drove 200 miles round trip to find over half the wood was broken and unusable. Had to go back losing a day of work where literally no one offered help and when it came to loading somehow everyone was too busy. When we voiced our frustration to the store leadership they said that’s a bummer with no apology or ownership over the situation. I will gladly drive an extra hundred miles to anywhere else. Never returning to this location.

Most of the employees suck. The rest of them are exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The ones that suck are becoming unbearable to the point where I've actually started shopping elsewhere for the most part. I tried to order a package of I-Joists from the assistant manager. She had no clue what I was talking about. Told me they were out of stock. I told her this was part of a lumber package. She told me I was wrong. I told her I would go elsewhere, she said good. So I went to Midway and bought everything from the foundation to roof. It's a shame that after literally decades of being a loyal customer, I have been pushed to going elsewhere. Sad day

I love the layout of the HD, it flows and makes sense. They are so helpful it's almost annoying, you will never spend 5 minutes without someone making sure you are all set.

If I'm wrong, I stand corrected but isn't the job of a Home Depot employee literally to provide customer service? I mean their vest literally says to ask them for help. I'm so sick and tired of always getting the "Sorry, not my department" response when I ask a question. Even more infuriating is when you ask them about a products availability and they are often times quick to say, "We don't have that, or we are out." vs looking in the system to actually verify it! I asked for some chairs in a certain color. The employee promptly said, "If they aren't out in the garden area, we are out."....only to pass by literally 70 freaking chairs by the front door!!!!! If you don't want to actually do your job, quit! Spent 4k on supplies and waited 46 minutes to get an employee to actually help me load. 46 minutes! Counted at least 14 different employees walking around the store.

We just spent thousands of dollars on Milgard windows from this store. They arrived unwrapped without any protection. I was told that’s not Home Depot’s problem as they come from Milgard. I’m pretty sure Home Depot is a real big account for Milgard and it would not take much effort to request the windows they sell to be shipped at least with some cardboard protection.Plus not one Home Depot employee offered to help us load all these windows. Very disappointed.

This store is a cluttered mess with people's orders. You can't even maneuver your wheelchair down some isles let alone a shopping cart. If you try and call or email a specific department they just act so rushed and don't take the time to tell you the info or rush off the phone.If I had another option to shop at another store similar to this in Omak I would.

Went in looking for snow blowers and asked the eldery ladies at self check out for help. Instead of checking inventory they just said "they are out front". I went out front and checked that there were none. So I went back in and asked if they had any in stock and the older ladies said "we don't have them then" and then went back to standing around and talking to each other. The simple dismissiviness and rude lack of interest to help was extremely off putting. I've been to this Home Depot before and have had great service, but the older women at the self check out were incredibly rude and lacked any semblance of manners.

What a wonderful store-- the people here make this better than any Home Depot or other store you've probably ever been to.Staff members actually care about customers and will help you with anything.Dan, the manager, will make sure that you are taking care of. He has helped to create a place that is so much more than just a store. The fact that people have been allowed to sleep here after they lost their home to wildfire is just one example. do yourself a favor and shop here, it's truly a place that betters our entire community.

This store is beyond abysmal. In the last year my girlfriend and I have spent or tried to spend over 30k at the home depot.We've replaced every major appliance in our home.Cooktop had issues. Warranty nightmare. No customer service.The dryer we ordered. Scheduled as a delivery, office said we have no order. Finds the order. Claims it was a pickup. Figures out how to deliver. Rescheduled 4 times after waiting all day. Delivered broken. No compensation. Refund hassle for weeks.The gazebo we've ordered. Lost for weeks when told it would "be here that day" wasted days and days waiting. No compensation. No customer service. Refund hassle for weeks.Flooring quotes. Nothing but a hassle. Need asbestos test on a home built well past any asbestos date. Reschedule after Reschedule. Refund hassle for weeks.The staff are of very little help. The quality is poor and the management doesent care.We are filing a complaint with the better business bureau , Washington consumer protection department and will be contacting home depot corporate office.

We enjoy home depot. It is always very clean and they have very good customer service. They have just about everything needed for all our home needs. They are wonderful at honoring our veterans with a 10% discount also

There's not much to say about Home Depot, most everyone has a love/hate relationship with the place. If you've been in one you know what they have. I've noticed differences regionally in what some places carry but they're generally pretty small- what you can get at one you can get, or order through another. They pretty much have a monopoly in Omak and Okanogan. There is one other lumber place nearby but if you're looking for one-stop shopping for the widest variety of your construction needs this would be the place to come.

Do I have a horror story for you I wanted to purchase flooring for my rental I picked out what I wanted and ordered it They have you do asbestos testing now even if the place was built in the 90s and that cost over 200.00 Ridiculous! Than they had measurer come Getting the insulation scheduled took awhile but finally the day came The installers came and looked at everything and told us this was quarter round and we needed crown molding And they need to level the flooring between the carpet and lonoilum and sent not enough transitions and would need wood on floor to level it which would make the right level changes in the flooring The measurer should have put all that down So installers said they would have to reschedule I called Home Depot right away talked with Dustin who's in charge of flooring He said he had to talk to Home Services cause they do the scheduling for floors and get the molding sent and more transitions and Home Services would call me Monday about this mess up He said they would get back to me I waited a week and a half nothing So I decided to cancel I had had enough and my renter was tired of us coming and nothing being done I called Dustin and canceled He said he would schedule a pick up for flooring Three weeks went by no calls I called him back he said he would get it on the schedule Another week and half nothing Called Dustin again said he would be picked up that Monday My renter waited all day nobody came Called Dustin again He said he got a personal employee to come pick it up in his own car Well yay it finally happened The driver Glen said he personally will go back to Home Depot and start the refund process Well herd nothing back or no email about my refund Again I called Home Depot Again they said there was an IT problem with refund and will work on it They Finally sent the refund 9 days later! Never again will I go to Home Depot End of story

Went to exchange 4 propane tanks for friends in the Oroville area. Staff was attentive and courteous. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. Store was clean and had Covid barriers in place. It appeared that masks were preferred but not required for service.

Your Omak Washington store full of rude employees has cost you a long time customer. My wife and I have spent over 20,000$ at your Omak Washington store in the last year purchasing items for the down to the stud remodel on our home. We had gotten used to the useless unhelpful employees over the last year however todays experience was unacceptable. I walked into the store to pickup a will call order as I have over a dozen times. A very helpful lady from the pro desk walked me to my cart full of lumber and then walked me to the cashier stand where she said I was good to go. I thanked her and thought to myself how I actually met one of the few helpful employees at the Omak Homedepot. 2 seconds later a cashier jumps in front of my cart as I’m halfway out the front doors and tells me she needs to check my receipt. I am then told by her that the scrap chunks of 2x4 that a home depot employee used as spacers between the 4x8 sheet goods on my my cart were not on my receipt and I had to remove them from my cart. This was a will call order that was loaded onto the cart by a Home Depot employee. I do not appreciate being accused of stealing by a cashier that wouldn’t know a 2x4 from a piece of plywood if it fell from the sky and landed in front of her. Your Catty untrained rude cashiers from American Eagle and the Abercrombie store are costing you many long time customers.

One of the cleanest, best organized Home Depots I've been too. Super friendly, helped with a complicated order and gave me some great advice. Still a big box store, but for what it's worth, it felt as close to a local store as any possible.

Picked up a few items that I had ordered online. As before, I got a call as soon as the items were ready (in this case, about 30 minutes after I submitted the order).Staff: very friendly and helpful, throughout the store. I don’t get that corporate training vibe, just good people who know a thing or two.Prices: Often below Amazon. The more specialized and expensive the item, the more likely it is that Home Depot beats the Amazon resellers.

If there was a lower rating, I would most certainly select the lowest possible. Firstly, because I was called in to work, and my stepfather (who btw is almost 70 years old, and a veteran) was already picking up his own order at Home Depot, I asked if he would pick my order up as well; my order consisted of 20 sheets of drywall a large bucket of drywall compound and several miscellaneous items. Due to my stepfathers age, I requested curbside pickup. While they had my order ready, my stepfather received no help loading, nor any assistance finding any of the remaining items on his list. Even after he requested assistance finding the correct size metal siding in a mixed pile, he was told by an employee "they are in the pile, you just have to look". I am disgusted, and appalled at the disrespectful manner in which Home Depot's employees treat their veteran customers!!!Secondly, I called in the A.M in order to correct the order I made (which was an electronic issue with the Home Depot website) and to verify curbside pickup. I talked with a customer service associate by the name of Melody. Melody does not need to be in a customer service capacity. When I attempted to express the issue I was having with the website Melody was dismissive, rude, and cantankerous in nature and unwilling to listen to the summery of problems. furthermore, anytime I would respond to a question she asked, she would interrupt and talk over me (my guess is she received the minimum information she was seeking) asking another question which, would overall, end in another interruption. I felt rushed and entirely dismissed. When I had enough of her unequivically horrendous customer service, I asked for her name, and then to speak to a supervisor. Melody then continued to talk about my order entirely ignoring my request, as if I said nothing. only when I continued to ask for a supervisor a multitude of times and refused to provide her with anymore information because of her inappropriate "customer service attitude" I was sent to a acting supervisor, who also dismissed my complaint regarding Melodys customer service skills; however, did resolve the problems with my online order. I will be calling the manager this Saturday when he returns from vacation.

Heaven forbid you need appliances or anything kitchen related. Honestly wishing I could buy a Lowe's franchise just to out service this joke.Edit July 2022: still can't get any appliances. If you want to redo your kitchen up here, don't use Home Depot. They don't show up to the appointments they set!! They have no appliances in stock and anything you find online that you like, you can't order. So why post them? This is like the ANTI-Home Improvement store. Then they wonder why we all flock to Wayfair and Amazon.Edit Dec 2022; Nothing but lies from everyone working here. Order countertops, all delivered jacked up. One wasn't even delivered as my contractor is standing here waiting for that last one to install, I track it. It was returned to sender damaged, and no one bothered to call to tell me? They hadn't even credited my card back until confronted about it?!? Are you kidding?!?! Then told by HD customer service (I have it in writing via text with Customer service) that they "carry these in stock" (LIE) and "that they'll hold one for me" (LIE) and "they triple checked by calling the store" (LIE) (already knowing they don't have them, as they are 'special order' and that this HD holds NOTHING for anyone because they are a bag of d's), we still make the hour drive in ice and snow to be told otherwise at the store. Nothing in stock like this, still must special order and wait another half a month to finish my kitchen, that is IF they even deliver it, intact. AVOID THIS STORE LIKE THE PLAGUE. BAG OF D'S.

Had a phenomenal experience at Home Depot today. I'm came in with a project I've probably been procrastinating a little too long - building a Murphy Bed for our guest room. Came in with a fairly lengthy cut list and figured - I could get the cuts done for a fee. I was happy to pay a fee to have the cuts done as our tools were in storage and we don't currently have a space setup to process a handful of 4'x8's.Anyway - when asking about it - they were incredibly helpful and directed me towards Wes. Who then informed me that "no," they don't take payment for making cuts but he'd be happy to work with me on them if I were patient - way more than fair. I immediately felt indebted to him and probably just got in the way as I was trying to figure out anyway I could help in exchange for having the cuts done.This store has always been so dang friendly and I go quite a bit out of my way (I live 90 minutes away) to visit it when I need to jumpstart a project.Wes - thank you for all your help.Chris

I felt like they looked at me like I was a shoplifter and I didn’t need to be asked if I needed help. If looks could speak it was definitely saying they didn’t want me there. At least that’s how I felt.

My husband is a frequent Home Depot shopper. He normally picks this hardware store over any others. That speaks well of the store to me.We always seem to get good customer service here.
