Happy Gutters displayed terrible customer service. We need to get new gutters installed, and I have used Ibex roofing before to maintain my roof. I have also referred many people to them. They likely would have been who we hired, but they refused to come and give us a bid unless both my husband and I were at the appointment. My husband works east coast hours and I sell real estate, so I work evenings and weekends. Overlap is not common between us both being home. They refused to meet with just one of us and have now lost my business and referrals. This might be a good time for the company to read Unreasonable Hospitality. I don't remember the statistics on getting a new customer vs. keeping a current one, but they have lost our business moving forward.

Unless you have some friends who work here and you're certain that you're getting a sweet deal, it's probably best to shop around a bit. Gathering a few bids before deciding which service to go with is common practice for the trades, and is often times the best way to get a reasonable price from a top quality company; however, this doesn't seem to line up with Happy Gutters' values.Happy Gutters refused to give us a bid unless I was the one showing them around the house. They refused to meet with my fiancée (soon to be wife) because she is not on the deed (yet), even though she expressed that she would be the decision-maker and would be paying for the service. I even called to confirm that my partner would be the decision-maker, and they insisted it had to be me due to 'company policy.' My family has worked in the trades for a long time, my neighbor has also worked in the trades for many years, and this is a classic 'closing' technique. They only want to meet directly with the homeowner because they are confident they are walking out that day with a signature.Maybe these practices aren't a problem for you, but I have a tough time giving business to a company that doesn't respect my family. We ended up receiving estimates from several other companies, none of which had an issue meeting with my partner.

Got my gutters installed last summer and was waiting for rain so forgot to review until now.I had black gutters and downspouts installed on 4 whole house. They still look new, no leaks at all and they have handled everything mother nature could throw at them this last fall and winter. I got the wider variety without the gutter guards and they've been great with all the pine needles. I've cleaned them out a few times.Great company to work with and the father son crew that did the install was awesome!Thanks

The Customer Service with this company has been excellent.I had a wonderful "worry free," experience with Happy Gutters.Happy Gutters had to replace all of our gutters and some of the downspouts on our entire shop/garage due to the April spring snow storm.*They also repaired and replaced gutters and downspouts on our barn/arena.Their work performance was outstanding.I highly recommend Happy Gutters.Linda Wood

Our gutters were obviously not working correctly and I had a few companies out to assess. The Ibex/Happy Gutters rep was the best. He was a gutter/roofing nerd and I had a lot of fun learning about gutter designs and evolution over the last few decades. He explained that our gutters were a bad design that causes water to seep into the wood and were also poorly installed almost 30 year ago, so while we could replace the parts where there were issues, that would only be a stop-gap and recommended a full replacement. While it's never fun for a project to get bigger, it made sense with all the pictures he showed me and my own experiences.We did a full gutter replacement and opted for the larger gutters with some catches around our trees. The total project for our 2,000sqft 2-story was a little over $7K and there was a slight discount because I found them in Home magazine.The installer wasn't as talkative, and I can't say I could properly assess his quality of work, but it seems good to me. Time will tell if we run into any issues and I'll update here if we do, but my expectation is the new gutters will take care of themselves for decades to come.

Happy Gutters replaced 30ft. of gutter and installed gutter guards. They were FANTASTIC! Great communication! The work was quickly completed, the guys were super friendly and the gutter guards work like a champ! I'm so impressed that I am looking to replace/add their gutters to the rest of the house. They believe in their work so thoroughly, that if you are not completely 110% satisfied, you don't have to pay.

Unbelievably great service and nice people! Happy Gutters installed gutters for us 2 years ago. They all look great, and work well except one. We discovered that one gutter was not draining properly because our house is old and not level. The company responded to my email right away and was willing to come the very next day to install another downspout to correct the situation. Trenton was very communicative letting me know he’d be 15 minutes late, completed the work efficiently, and assured me Happy Gutters would stand behind their work. Very professional and friendly. Will definitely use in future and Highly recommend!

Great Customer Service Experience begins with the first phone call to a company. From the moment I first spoke to Cherokee, at Happy Gutters, I felt comfortable. She was friendly, professional and informative. She scheduled a consultation appointment with Mike for a free on-site estimate of the cost for my gutter installation. Mike was very easy to talk to and he answered all of my questions explaining the whole process to me. After Cherokee received the paper work on the estimate for my project from Mike, she called me to set up an appointment to have my gutters installed.On the day of my installation, Val and Tyler arrived right on time. Here again, they were very professional and respectful of my property. They answered all of my concerns during a walk through before they even began my installation. Not only did they complete my project in a timely manner, they cleaned up my yard of any debris and offered another walk through of my gutter installation to make sure I was happy with the final project. The next day, I received a follow-up phone call from Cherokee who asked if I was satisfied with my project and if there were any problems or concerns I had with my gutter installation.The whole process was seamless, I definitely would recommend Happy Gutters to anyone. Happy Gutters replaced all of our gutters a few weeks ago and we are incredibly happy with the work that they did! It started with the walkthrough inspection with Kurt, who made sure to let us know what was a priority to fix and what we could wait on if we needed to save some money - I felt so appreciative of a business not trying to upsell us on a product but figuring out what will work best for us. Immediately I knew we could trust them. Tyler and Val came out day of to replace all the gutters and they were so professional and kind, making sure to check in with us throughout the process. I've had multiple neighbors come by impressed with the work and asking if I would recommend them and the answer is always YES! Absolutely.

The installers, Tyler and Val walked me through every step of the process, and we even put our heads together to figure out what would look best in a really funny spot. Happy Gutters installed new gutters and fascia on my home in Vancouver, WA, this May, 2022. They were excellent from beginning to the end. Their bidding process was more detailed than the other 3 companies that bid and included a thorough inspection and photos/details that were captured, saved, and reviewed with me at the time of the bid. They were on time, finished the job early, on budget, and cleaned up after themselves very well. They even came back the week after to increase the slope of one stretch of gutter and fixed the issue the same day I asked. My wife and I love our new 4k gutters and I really like the improved drainage as well.

Complete home gutter replacement with waist high downspout clean outs. Original gutters did not drain properly and difficult to clean. Snow had also wrapped and pulled gutters from roof edge.Happy Gutter team replaced with larger gutters with high metal backing that catch all metal roof rain runoff and clean outs are east to clear! No need to climb on a ladder! Install team was professional and great dialogue on installation and my concerns.I highly recommend!

I was reffered to Happy Gutters and couldn't be happier with my choice to go with them. Communication with this company was amazing! When kirk showed up to give the bid he was very thorough explaining what I would need. I compared my bid they gave me with a few others I had gotten. Gutters, downspouts & fascia repair. The crew that did the work did an excellent job. They were extremely hard workers and not even sure they took a lunch break. Any questions about what we wanted done they came to us to ask and provided information regarding any extra cost. They cleaned up the work area very nicely. My neighbors got new gutters and the guys came over to my new house across the street and sealed two leaking seams over my front door!!!! I will use them when I need new gutters. Happy Gutters redid the gutters on my older home, and repaired the damage the old ones had done. The house threw a couple of curveballs at them, but the crew and management handled things in a professional manner. They really went above and beyond to make sure all was well. Mike and Silvario came out at the time we were told. They installed gutters on our shop and washhouse. Mike was up front with us about a discrepancy that could eventually compromise the gutters due to the framing of the building. He brought it to our attention and asked if we wanted to do something extra to keep the integrity of the gutters and framing. Happy Gutters installed new downspouts with leaf clean outs for us. Their customer service was impressive across the board, from the person I talked to on the phone, to the estimator, to the workers who came out for the install. They even managed to match the existing paint color on one downspout that we didn't replace, just added a leaf cleanout to. I was expecting it would be white and I would have to paint it to match, but they had something that was very close to the existing color.

We are happy with Happy Gutters. Simeon and Cody were very careful with our new roof and did a quality job installing our new gutters. There was a mix up with the gutter material Kurt ordered but he was fast to fix that and added new downspouts at no charge.This is a good company with good guys, a good warranty, and a good price.
