Following a significant water leak several months ago and less thanimpressive work from a local water mitigation company, we found ourselvesvery concerned about finding the right general contractor to fix andremodel our kitchen and bathroom and refloor the house. We met withand got quotes from several companies – and, eventually settled onZemar construction. We could not have made a better choice. Chrisimmediately stood out from the competitors for the personal touch heprovided.Once construction started, Brian and Trevor continued to impress. Theydeserve praise beyond what words can provide, but we'll try to capturesome of it below.On time: Although house reconstruction is never done at the speed theowners (us) would desire, Chris was always upfront with timelines. Weknew when the delays would be, for what reason (ex. cabinetsback-ordered), and when the men would be back. They always showed up ontime and were never late.No surprises: Going into the reconstruction, we had our setbudget which we shared with Chris. He was able to build us aphenomenal bathroom and kitchen for the price quoted. Of course, asconstruction went on, we changed our minds more than once on what wewanted – Chris would always quote and advise us and always stuck tothe numbers he provided.Level of detail: We don’t know that much about construction, but we doknow enough to tell when someone is taking all the right steps. At theend of the day, we'd usually have a chat with Brian about the workcompleted and he always took the time to answer questions about whatthey had accomplished. There were occasions when extra work was neededto do the job right; the additional time that it would take was alwayscommunicated. Corners were not skipped and they always put effort intothe small details of their work (Look at the tile cuts for theshower!) If you want the job done right the first time, these are themen you want doing the work.Cleanliness: At the end of the day, Brian and Trevor would ALWAYSsweep up the area, clean out the debris, remove tarps/etc. and makesure the work area was as livable as possible until they returned.They never left tools/trash/materials on site. The made the work feelfar less disruptive to our everyday lives than we would have expected.In summation, the professionalism exhibited by Zemar construction wasabove and beyond what we were expecting from my previous experienceswith other contractors. We have already referred Zemar to severalfriends and are lining up future projects that we will unquestionablyhire them for.Take a moment to look at the before and after photos! So in 8/24/22 we came home to our home flooded from a bathroom flex hose that broke. We called Zemar Construction and spoke to Chris who is the owner and Chris reassured me they have done restoration work and he came immediately and evaluated the damage and put me at ease and made us fill that we chose the right person to help rebuild/fix our home and navigate insurance. Chris and his staff of Zemar Construction are the best outfit we have ever worked with, they showed up when they said they would, their communication was superb and they went above and beyond and the craftsmanship was amazing. We had them do extra work in the bathroom like a tile shower and it turned out beautiful. I would 100% use this company again and we are looking at our kitchen now. We had a toilet flood in our master bathroom. We contacted Zemar construction after reporting to our Home insurance. I was unfamiliar with the process of repairing the damage. Chris Ramez and his crew were great! They helped me navigate through our insurance company. They replaced our floor, walls that were damaged, drywall, texture and paint, replaced the toilet. They did a beautiful job! Since we had to have the repair done, we decided to pay the extra to have a new shower built.The shower turned out great! Our new shower is larger with a main large shower head, a hand held nozzle, safety bars and a seat that folds down. The crew was professional, on time, and had the work done in 5 days! We couldn’t be happier with the results.Services: Remodeling, Flooring

Our kitchen sprung a leak one day. The leak ruined our kitchen floors and cabinets. We were working with a construction company that was dragging its feet in getting things started for us. Almost three months passed before my husband went looking for another company. After reading what seemed like a hundred reviews, we found Zemar Construction.We were blessed. The owner Chris advocated for my husband and me when he was working with our insurance company. Working with him and his crew was one of our best experiences working with any company.Chris’s crew is hard-working, detailed oriented, and put out quality workmanship. They are polite, respectful, and courteous. We enjoyed having them in our home.Let me tell you a little about Chris, he is a humble man that stands by his work. He was attentive to our needs, and we learned that we could trust everything that he said. They took us on even though they had a full schedule. It has been a delight having this company help us with our home. The crew is professional and always keep us informed on what they are doing and what's coming up next. They are understanding and patient as they are repairing our home from extensive mold and water damage throughout our attic and interior of our house while we still occupy the space.Another review will be coming when the work is complete. I just couldn't wait until it's all completed. Everything is already looking amazing and it's not even done yet!Thanks for all you are doing for us!Update. The job is complete and we couldn't be happier. We got along with the workers so well that they will be missed. Cooked a brisket for the crew and owner. Not something you would typically do for a service but felt it was much deserved and wish it could have been more. May have to send another invitation to them for another bbq. These guys did a complete remodel of our kitchen. They did as they said they would do, didn't leave a mess behind their work, stood by their workmanship and were always pleasant to speak to. We are looking forward to them doing more work for us in the future.
