I was really impressed with the owner, Evan, after receiving a bid for a new roof. He gave me a brief background about his company and staff which he spoke very highly of and seemed to care about his workers. He was very eager to earn my business and work with me on the price based on my other bids. Before the job started he did a thorough job educating me on the install process. They performed the job exactly as stated while being punctual and showing great care for my property. The crew led by Fidel are a very efficient hard working staff who show tremendous pride in their work. The two day complete tear off of two layers was smooth and seamless. The staff including Evan did a great job cleaning up upon completion. If you need a new roof I would encourage you to receive a bid from Exterior Home Solutions and give this great business a chance.

EHS knocked on our door offering to bid out our roof while they were working on a different project in our neighborhood. Our roof had just started to leak the previous winter so we decided it was a good idea to replace it before the rain came back. We were happy with the bid and hired them. Initially, the project was for a rip off of the shingles/tar paper, replace the sheathing where needed, and then extend the eves, re-waterproof, and shingle. However, the roof was in worse condition and they needed to do a lot more than just a simple re-shingle job. Our house is old and has a lot of issues starting from poor initial construction quality (a "war box" built quickly and cheaply during WWII), through multiple owners that never kept it up well. While those challenges made this job more complicated and expensive, we felt EHS worked with us to fix what they could along the way, including adding new framing and a complete roof tear off. And they got it all done in just two days. They spent a lot of time cleaning up after themselves and actually left our yard looking better than when they started. As we assessed the final product, we found a few items that concerned us (like I said, old house and there was a lot of retrofitting to shore up the areas that were damaged). Anytime there are these large projects, we expect hiccups along the way, especially with our house. When shared our concerns, EHS wanted to take steps beyond anything we were asking for to address those concerns. It's probably the first time I've ever had to talk a contractor out of going above and beyond. :-) In the end, we feel like we got a good deal, we're happy with how the roof looks, we love our new gutters, and I can't speak highly enough of their dedication to customer satisfaction and attention to customer service.Services: Gutter installation, Attic venting, Roof repair, Roof installation

I would recommend Exterior Home Solutions to my closest friends. Evan and his team did an excellent job on our large, complicated roof. What impressed me the most was how clean they left things every day. I did a lot of research before settling on Exterior Home Solutions. Some had cheaper prices but didn’t offer guarantees to come back and fix mistakes or mishaps, etc. Most had higher prices and quoted me an average of eight thousand, even sixteen thousandDollars more than the price they quoted. But what really convinced me was that a coworker had used them and kept raving about them. When I called, Evan called me immediately and the communication was swift, professional, consistent, and cordial the entire time. Some companies didn’t even bother calling me back. This morning, they not only came right on time. And got to work, they trimmed trees without charging me extra and even hauled away two plastic totes I needed to dispose of when they cleaned up the debris. And the work was beautiful. I nearly cried. The roof looks so great. Best of all, the entire process for my eight hundred square foot house was seven and a half hours . That included the clean up and all the little extras they did for me. Highly recommend.

How do you write a review about perfection? I can't seem to find a button where I can add More than five stars...Well, to start off with, The introduction to the company was phenomenal. Initially we heard about Exterior Home Solutions through solicitation (I was more than happy to talk to them at my door when I discovered they were selling windows). Then, we met Donnovan for the quote who arrived exactly on time.Donnovan has mastered the balance of professionalism combined with a trustworthy family feeling while presenting the windows we ultimately purchased. He is someone you can actually trust selling a product he, and now my husband and I, truly believe in. I purchased windows for my house, and because Donnovan earned my trust, I also hired Exterior Home Solutions to install gutters- not only at my house, but also at my parents. I trust their entire staff of workers and sub-contracted workers impeccably.The installers come prior to installation to assure measurements and to verify all the information to assure that you're satisfied with what they are coming to do and also have mastered that balance as Donnovan has with feeling of family, yet also professional. I have huge windows throughout my home and was amazed at how much care they took to ensure my woodwork, frames and various forms of blinds and window covers stayed as beautiful as they'd been prior to their work. They also meticulously clean and keep you informed of any problems they find during install. Chris and Matt, two of their installers are extremely intelligent and personable and are absolutely fantastic.One of the owners of Exterior Home Solutions, Manny, also came to the install at my house and assured everything ran smoothly. He is also an honest, hard working advocate for you as the consumer. This is not something I have seen with many contractors. He represents his company with pride and is also easy to communicate with on all levels of the install progress.The bottom line on this experience? If you want a positive home improvement experience and are someone who doesn't want corners cut or to be talked at rather than talked with, this company and these guys will not do you wrong with their high quality products and the amazing care of your assets- It's your home, after all. Very very impressed with the new roof we got done about 2 months ago. It looks amazing and the team at Exterior Home Solutions did such a wonderful job. Manny and crew were extremely professional and responsive. They did an outstanding job replacing our siding and windows that needed replacement due to water intrusion. I got five other estimates for the job and manny was the only one that didn’t Try to “sell me” on anything and make a big deal out of the job like some others contractors did. He was extremely responsive and showed up multiple times to check on his crew and their progress. His pricing was very reasonable and we couldn’t be happier with the job that they did. I would highly recommend this company and would absolutely utilize them for future work, in fact our neighbor plans on hiring them for a job after seeing how well ours went. Manny & Evan were professional, honest, responsive and very good to work with. They quoted a fair price to replace the roof which was in-line with 2 other quotes we received. During the installation they encountered an issue with thin, rotting plywood which affected a large area of the roof, so they brought me up to show the extent of the issue and offered options. I cannot recommend highly enough. Exterior Home Solutions was recommended to me by a solar panel company, and while we did not pursue installing solar, we are extremely happy with our new roof! When we moved in, there were two layers of old roof on our house. This company removed the old, and installed the new 50 year roof, and did an amazing job of cleanup. They were very professional and competitively priced. We had previously got an estimate from a different roofing company who wanted us to install more ridge vents. Evan Butner at Exterior Home recommended against that, explaining that if the attic is dry, we have the right number of vents already.
