This was followed by the owner, Logan, visiting the site to assure the materials and job were completed. We recently had our roof replaced by A-1 General Contracting and we could not have been more satisfied. From the prompt start to the quick finish, A-1 worked efficiently to install beautiful new shingles on our home. They provided prompt and courteous service . Much care was taken to maintain and protect our property and landscaping. We also chose to have gutter guards installed granting peace of mind concerning my husband's yearly "dance with death" to remove leaves from the gutters. That will NO LONGER be happening! We were delighted with the pricing , the wide option of shingle colors and the high quality craftsmanship. We highly recommend Logan and his crew.

A1 exceeded expectations on the new roof they installed on our Victorian style home which was a difficult project.My experience started with a reference from a friend who recommended A1 to replace a a roof on my home. I contacted A1 and within a short time received a call back from the Owner, Logan Marino. He arranged to have their project manager Aaron contact me the same day and within a few days, he came down and presented a proposal that was far more detailed than a competitive proposal. After a short negotiation, we agreed to do business and the work started on my home within a few weeks of signing the contract. The crew of 8 people headed by Carlos arrived early and worked late each day like a well organized machine moving and installing materials in a neat and efficient manner.The crew was polite and respectful and when they finished the job, cleaned everything up. Before the contract was concluded, Cedric came down to get my feedback and walk around to check out the quality of work. He also wired up the new attic fan and made a few minor adjustments in the gutter area and walked around the house to make sure all waste materials and nails were picked up.What I appreciated most was the timely , open, and honest communication at each step along the way from everyone on the team.I would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Top notch every step of the way!From the very beginning we were very pleased with the interaction with Logan and Aaron from A-1 General Contracting. They made us feel confident in their abilities to put a roof on, but also that they would be here in the long run if anything were ever to go wrong. The roof my wife chose was exactly what she wanted after contemplating it for an enormous amount of time, of course. A-1 was very patient and even ordered us samples so she could make her final decision.The demo and roofing team were highly skilled, polite and cleaned up their work daily.Our GAF special order shingles came with a 50 year guarantee and we could not be happier with how it turned out!Logan even recommended a great electrician for another project we had that also worked out well.Good people doing honest hard work. The entire A-1 team are phenomenal. A1 goes above and beyond.They recently did a complete upgrade to our home. Roof, siding, soffit, fascia, gutters, and trim.We ran into a snag when the siding choice we wanted was not longer available due to all the set backs of COVID and wasn’t being manufactured. Luckily with their determination and possibly me dragging my feet on a second option they did a search and found the siding we wanted. They didn’t hesitate to go pick it even if it was a distance away.The job was completed quickly. With the roof only taking 2 days and the rest done within 5 days. The crews are very polite, hard working and accommodating.I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. I highly recommend. They do a great job and are sure you are satisfied with the job.A local business who takes pride in their work!

I am preparing to sell my house and have been stumbling through the process. A-1 Construction was a real find!. Although my job was a repair and not a complete replacement, I was treated with the utmost professionalism and kindness. A1 just completed my roof and I couldn't be happier. Within a few minutes of calling the office about a quote, I was contacted by Aaron Currey. He came out the next day and quoted my roof and answered all my questions. Not only that, after I signed my contract, I contacted him several times with questions and he was always quick and happy to help. Our installation fell on our vacation. I like to consider myself a laid back control freak if such a thing exists. Needless to say, I typically wouldn't be comfortable having major work done to my home while away. However, after seeing their professionalism and final product on my neighbor's roof, I was comfortable with the situation. Logan was also great to work with. We came up with solar vent placement over the phone with him while hanging out on the beach. He kept us updated with photos of progress and we came home to a completed roof. The clean up crew was very through and I was impressed at how careful they were with my landscaping. I am very happy I chose A-1 for this project. From the get go, they made this easy and I couldn't be happier with the quality of their work and product.

Great crew to work with. Logan (owner/manager) was quick to reply during planning for the work and very friendly. The crew took pride in their work and knocked out two roofs in three days. That was along with all clean up. I especially appreciated multiple members of the crew going around the house and garage multiple times with rolling magnets to ensure that all nails were removed.

A1 General Contracting recently replaced my roof and gutters. Their workers were outstanding. They were fast. Replaced the roof in approximately 10 hours and the gutters and downspouts in 5 hours. They were very neat. When they were finished, my yard looked like no one had been there. The yard was clean. They also ran a magnet over the yard, so there were no nails. This was much appreciated so no nails got into tires, feet or the lawnmower. I also felt that the price was very reasonable. I would recommend this company in a heartbeat.

After reviewing quotes from many different contractors, we decided to go with A-1 General Contracting for our new roof. I have never dealt with a contractor who was professional and went above and beyond what was expected and provided good quality material. The staff worked hard and got everything done in a weekend including clean up. They are hard workers, fair and reasonable pricing and Logan was always responsive. Logan and his crew at A 1 General Contracting did a wonderful job replacing my roof. They did exactly what they said they would when they said they would. Everyone was very courteous and respectful and his crew completed the job in one day by working from daylight to after dark. They came back the next morning to make sure everything was cleaned up and there were no nails left in the yard. I would recommend them to anyone. It's not easy finding a good contractor, trust me, I've had some bad ones. But, A 1 General Contracting is a contractor you can count on to do an excellent job at a reasonable price.

I met A1 Construction at a Home Show in Morgantown. We met with several contractors that day, but A1’s interest in our project won me over. I submitted our house plans to a few contractors and not only was A1 the first to respond, their quote was extremely reasonable.Logan sat down with my husband and I and walked us through every step of the process. We had a million questions, and he answered every single one. Fast forward to construction time, the team had my house framed and shingled in about 10 days. I have been planning this house for several years, and every little detail that was important to me, was also important to them. Since the roof on my home was installed in 2006, having to replace it wasn't exactly in my plans. But after several episodes of wind damage, I had to face reality. An online search for the best wind-resistant shingles led first to the GAF website and, ultimately, to GAF certified contractor A1 General Contracting and Repair. I called and spoke to sales agent Aaron Currey and he wasted no time in visiting my home to explain all the available options and advantages of the GAF Timberline HDZ shingles line. His presentation was thorough, easy to understand, and convincing. And the price he quoted was fair and reasonable.Fast forward to last week, when I was happy and relieved to become A1's latest very satisfied client. My home now sports not only a sharp new roof showcasing very attractive architectural shingles, but gleaming and durable seamless gutters as well. It's an impressive transformation.The workers were skilled, efficient, and diligent. Under oppressively hot and humid weather conditions, I might add. And they were all so friendly and respectful. Recently had our roof replaced with A1. Our roof is a complex design but that was not a problem for them. They tackled the job timely and professionally. They also fixed a stretch of Soffit, Facia and Gutter that was damaged during a storm while they were here. All workers were hardworking and very polite. A1 recently replaced my roof. It was getting to be late in the year and a couple other contractors had wasted quite a bit of my time, but A1 promised to do their best to squeeze me into their busy schedule. Not only did they manage to do so, it was sooner than they had initially hoped. The communication was top notch as was the quality and speed of the work. My roof and new gutters look great, and not a moment too soon as it’s been constant rain and snow since the work was done. No leaks or any issues to speak of. The cleanup at the end was great as well. I’m very satisfied and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Needed a completely new roof built. I called A-1 and they scheduled me in and was out at my house in a week. They completely rebuilt my roof in three days. Very professional. I have had no issues with my roof and they even came back the next day to spot check everything. The price they quoted me was the best I could find, especially with the price of wood these days.

A1 GC recently installed a new roof on our family home. A local contractor worked on the home late Fall 2021 and ended up causing more problems than they fixed. Not so with A1 GC.They truly lived up to their name.Professional, courteous, friendly, hard working, and knowledgeable.Carlos and his crew cleaned up all debris at the end of each day and went above and beyond to safeguard my wife's landscaping.The owner took a personal interest in the project as well, putting in several days himself doing the metal work and cedar siding on the dormer.Dealing with A1 GC was a pleasant experience from beginning to end.
