A few hours later they returned to install a new well pump, inspected the other components of my plumbing system (pressure tank, hot water heater, water softener..ALL GOOD!!). I’ve used Comstock Plumbing for years; however, I will not use them going forward and CANNOT recommend them. I ordered and they installed a hybrid water heater at my house in August 2020. And the plumbing connections the installed added greatly increased the footprint over the other water heater they previously installed in 2010 (see accompanying photo). On December 24, 2020, I had a service appointment with Chip (same Comstock plumber who did the August 2020 water heater installation) to repair a sump pump. He said he needed to order a replacement part and that the repair likely wouldn’t happen until after the new year. I was fine with that, holidays and all. It is now mid March 2021 and they are still telling me they have to find the replacement part. With a mere 10 minutes of my effort, I found the manufacturer, called them, got the contemporary part number, and ordered a replacement pump off Amazon. I will find someone with plumbing skills who is responsive to install it. This will not, NOT, be someone affiliated with Comstock Plumbing.

Our experience with Comstock Plumbing was wonderful!! Our Family was once again very pleased. The beginning process with Mariah to schedule the servicing was great.The office scheduled in a timely manner and actually fit us in earlier. I have had the worst experience of my life with this company... Extremely extremely expensive came to my house the day after after they told me they would be there the same day...They charged me $549.00 to install a little pipe in my crawl space with 40 minutes worth of work..I highly suggest NOT to call this company unless you want to be rubbed..never again!!!!

Had a wonderful first experience with Comstock Plumbing. We detected a leak in our home and called on the Monday of a holiday week. The scheduling manager worked a miracle and was able to get us a same-day appointment. Jay arrived faster than expected and completed the work quickly. We have dealt with Comstock Plumbing for a number of years. A few months ago we had extensive water issues and Matt was very persistent in determining the cause. He came out frequently and helped us navigate successfully through the issues. Jay, also, has been excellent. I love these guys! They come out very quickly for emergencies. Jay always goes above and beyond for me; I request him specifically. He did some carpentry (technically out of their scope) to get my beautiful new copper farm sink to fit in the existing space. He's competent, knowledgeable & proactive. He fixed my dud faucet with just a twist of his wrench. All the other plumbers gave me a huge estimate to go behind the wall of that faucet to repair. Our kitchen faucet was leaking and was getting worse daily. We thought it could be repaired and after getting the parts free from Moen Home Adviser's recommendations were so expensive we ordered a new one. In searching for a local plumber and called Comstock and they were here the next morning . Our faucet was installed quickly and neatly. Also the charge was reasonable. I came home from vacation to find that I had no water in my home. Doing research and calling around to several businesses I was able to find Comstock who was able to send out someone same day to do initial troubleshooting. They were able to get my water back on with a workaround to my plumbing issue. They were then able to fit me into their already full schedule within two days to replace a pressure tank and do pump work on my well. The staff was respectful, knowledgeable, and happy to answer questions so that I understood the problem and the components that they had to replace. I would recommend their work to anyone in the area needing this type of service from a local and professional company.

I called on a Friday 4/24 to get an estimate done to replace a leaking water pressure pump, install a thermal expansion tank on a hot water heater Comstock had installed earlier and to fix a leaking sewer line.The earliest a visit could be done was the following Wednesday 4/29 between 8am and 10am. Chip showed up after 10:30 am due to an emergency. Information was exchanged. I requested a same day cost estimate for a new booster pump. I was given a lukewarm promise I would get an estimate that following Friday 5/1 for the entire job. I received no cost estimate for just the pump on 4/29 nor a cost estimate that Friday 5/1. Monday came and went and I still had no estimate much less a cost for a new pump. I didn't receive even a phone call explaining the reason for the missing estimate. I called the company office Tuesday morning, 5/5 requesting Chip give me a call back to bring me up to date on the missing quote. Its 5:00 pm and no phone call.To avoid any delays related to material shortages I called the recommended supplier for the pump needed and got a price quote. The cost was way to high for the quality of pump being offered. Hence I had to order the pump needed for the job via UPS. I purchased the needed thermal expansion tank and the lumber necessary to support the water pump above the basement floor. I’ve been ready for the job to be done since last Saturday. The only thing missing is a professional plumber. Its going on eleven days now dealing with a leaking pressure pump. Like the water running out of my leaking pump, so has my patience.Totally unprofessional and unacceptable. No business is that busy to not make a phone call! Especially when you have ample office personnel. Delegate! The time taken to write a rebuttal/excuses to this review should have been used earlier making a phone call to keep this review from ever happening!Where did Comstock's appreciation go for my previous business and customer loyalty I gave Comstock, a local business mind you, with more of my business instead of another plumber?Its true when they say never make a customer stand in line to spend their money, otherwise they will take their money to someone else who does appreciate it.As for Chip, run what you own, but own up as to how you run it.To anyone who reads this review, make tracks not a phone call to Comstock Plumbing.
