She took the time to research many aspects, like well depths and septic systems in the area so she could provide a more accurate estimate, no other builder did that.Everyone on their crew is a quality craftsman, that’s why I like that they self perform most of the stages of building, rough carpentry, roof, siding, finish carpentry, deck, etc.. and use only high quality products.If you’re looking for an affordable builder that delivers high quality, go with Schwanz Custom Homes.

Becki and Luke are fantastic people. We built a cabin and weren’t nearby for a majority of the build which made us nervous. Becki quickly put us at ease by always answering the phone or promptly returned any voicemails. She gave great advice on things we weren’t sure about and helped us save money in several places. Luke and his crew are great. These guys work hard and fast, but don’t cut corners. We’re very happy with the craftsmanship of our cabin. From my experience, these are trustworthy people who do fantastic work. I would absolutely recommend them to family and friends and if I’m ever looking for a builder in the area again they will be my first call.

We are new to Wisconsin and needed to replace the existing garage on our new home with a new one. From the day I met the owners of Schwanz I knew I was in good hands. They listened to what I wanted, provided guidance, but allowed me to make final decisions. They removed my old garage and built my new one exactly the way I wanted it! Excellent work—highly recommend!We have been looking forward to retiring near Antigo, but bad experiences with a home renovation and pool repair in a different state made us wary of trying to get a house built, and we had put it off for several years. Finally we searched online and saw many positive reviews for Schwanz Custom Homes, so we decided to see how the process went. We were prepared to call it off if things didn’t seem right. Well, that never happened. We are so glad we went with Schwanz and could not be happier with the process or the results. Luke managed the construction at the site and kept things humming, with work often continuing even on nights and weekends. Becki helped us develop the plans and worked with us every step of the way from choosing a general layout to advice on flooring and plumbing, etc., and working with subcontractors at the end to take care of the few things that needed to be fixed or adjusted. Becki was very accommodating with our schedules and working over Zoom or showing us pictures when we couldn’t be there in person to figure out details such as the lighting plan. When a few things we wanted weren’t going to work, Becki took the time to explain the problem and help us find an alternative. She was always professional and knowledgeable about our project and helped to keep things moving. We Interviewed several builders before selecting Schwanz Custom Builders for our new lake house. Becki is just wonderful, helped in modifying and customizing a floor plan. She's very detailed and organized and is great with open lines of communication. Luke and Elijah and their crew are super also, the house went up so fast. As a first home owner, I feel very fortunate to have connected with the Schwanz for our first home building experience. They are customer centered, personable, prompt to respond (even on their vacation!), and flexible/patient with changes. We are so happy with the quality of work done thus far on our home and timeliness with everything. Their crew is also very personable, thoughtful and hard working... they were out there on the coldest days yet this winter. What we respect most about the Schwanz is they are out there with their crew doing the work too, not just directing.
