I never had the pleasure of meeting with Dave or having him work on my roof, but he was recommended to me from another roofing company that could not take on the job of replacing a slate roof. Dave took the time to call me and then educated me that the roof of the home I just purchased was actually an asbestos tile roof, not slate. He spent about 90 minutes on the phone with me looking and pictures and explaining the current state and what would need to be done based on his previous years of experience. He was truly instrumental in the final moments of home buying and I am so appreciative of his thoroughness, expertise and attentiveness. If I ever need a roof repaired or redone I will definitely be giving Dave a call.

Had wind storm damage to clay tile roof. Emailed Dave on a Sunday and his inspector was out on Monday and his crew came on Tuesday and made the repairs. Dave & his team did a great job on our house! We have a Terracotta roof and had a difficult time finding a vendor we trusted to not create a larger problem than the one we started with. I first met Dave North of Dave North Roofing back in 1993 when I needed a firm to assist me in relaying the Spanish clay tile main roof and replacing the built-in copper gutters on my family’s historic home. Because of Dave and his employees, they were hired again in 2002 to assist me in relaying clay tile on a large porch roof. Again, Dave North Roofing performed outstanding quality work. Subsequently, on two different occasions in 2018, Dave North Roofing came through again in another porch tile relay and repair work. After we purchased our home we found issues with the concrete tile roof. Dave North and 2 other contractors were contacted to come out for inspection and suggestions. Dave was by far the most knowledgeable, personal and honest of the 3 and Dave did not disappoint. Last year we added a small addition to our house and again Dave came through with doing an outstanding job matching the existing roof along with the copper detail. We have a tile roof. Very few roofing contractors are capable of working on this type of roof. We shopped around and found Dave. He investigated the problem, told us exactly how he would fix it and then did a tremendous job. We were extremely happy with the repairs, and the price was very fair. If any roofing work can be considered beautiful, Dave's work on our tile roof was beautiful.

Have had a troublesome leak in my roof that has baffled other roofers. Dave did a thorough inspection and photographed problem areas for me to look at. Dave and his crew removed old asbestos shingles, re-enforced the structure of a garage roof, and added metal trim that matched well with an original design from eighty years earlier. Arranging the various stages when the process was interrupted by inclement weather was complex, and Dave conducted the symphony with the grace of a seasoned conductor. He also called thoughtfully to inform us when various jobs would occur, which was necessary so that we could continue to use the driveway and parking space. The main assistants, Jim and Stacy, were similarly hard-working and pleasant. I'm not sure I ever saw them pause for lunch. Although the cost was significant, we feel it was worth while and the roof is likely to last another hundred years

In 2009 a kitchen addition and an entrance were added to my 1936 home. Unfortunatlly, it was not installed correctly, causing a lot of water damage. Dave was able to identify the problems and correct them quickly and efficiently. I strongly reccomend Dave North Roofing.

He was able to figure-out where our leak was coming from. Our roof is very steep and high. It's a difficult project that other roofers were unwilling to even bid on, choosing to just take the easy jobs. These guys bid the project, did a high quality job that looks great, and fixed a few gutter and missing shingle issues while they were up there. This is a high quality outfit.
