We had a fairly serious leak from our washing machine this morning. We called ServPro and shortly afterwards got a call to let us know that someone would be out within the hour. The main purpose of the call was to get an idea of what we wanted done, and to let us know as much as possible about potential costs. This was much appreciated. When the technicians came out (within the hour as promised), they very quickly determined what our best course of action was, and were very honest about what we needed as well as what we really didn’t need. Again, much appreciated. They did a great job getting the washer & dryer moved and mopping up the standing water underneath. They cut some of the wet carpet out and hauled it, and the pieces we had already cut, away. I was very satisfied and impressed. This was our first experience with this kind of issue, and things could not have gone better. I highly recommend these guys!

We had a great experience working with Dave H. Our water heater malfunctioned and 40 gallons of water saturated our basement. I called ServPro for mitigation from a bathroon flood incident. The start of the process was great, they came quickly and the tear out crew was quick, friendly, and professional. The problems started when trying to move beyond that point. A repair not associated with the flood was found and I was told by the project manager that I would receive a proposal "by the end of the day." That was November 9. Over the next 5 weeks, I asked for the proposal several more times and was consistently told "by the end of the day" with no apology or explaination for the delay. I've finally given up and will call another company. I'm left confused about how/why this was such a difficulty.

We have been incredibly happy with the work done by Travis, Randy, and Simon. We were out of town for a week and came home to find that we had a sewer back up.I called Serv pro of Madison and they were just finishing up a job 50 miles, they showed up with 6 employees. They stayed at our house until the sewage was cleaned up, flooring and affected walls were removed and everything disinfected. Serv Pro had a lot of fans an Dehumidifiers to dry everything out. Serv Pro stayed in contact with us daily and helped us out dealing with the insurance company. I have my own business and have been around many other trades/ businesses. The cleanup crew was friendly, respectful, fast, and professional. Kevin was very responsive to every call and question. The reconstruction service wasn't quite the same. Due to health issues, we opted for Servpro to choreograph the reconstruction which took 2.5 months! Our Coordinator Katie took over from another guy so she had obstacles to get through. They have a real superstar with Katie for sure! We will work with Servpro again should the need arise and we absolutely recommend their cleanup service. We however would do our own reconstruction. Servpro of Madison helped out when Cedar Rapids was hit by a derecho storm where thousands of homes were damaged. The office staff were very helpful and kind, under stressful circumstances. The crew they sent got the job done efficiently (ceiling, wall, and flooring removal and drying) and in a timely manner (response within a couple days), which is critical when a tree has gone through your roof.
