I hired A-Team to rebuild my wooden front porch steps. They began work in September, tore off the old steps, then left all the debris in my yard. As of 12/2 they still have not completed the new steps nor have they removed the debris from the old steps. They have made some progress as shown in the picture, but that was from over a week ago. I have let them know multiple times that the debris is still sitting in my yard and that the steps are not completed.Update: they have mostly completed the steps and they look very nice. The project is still not 100% complete

Very professional, we had 3 proposals for our home and by far the A-Team group was the most impressive. Others were very nice and respectful but A-Team was the most responsive and prepared. Aaron and his team spent the most time going through the roof and various different options to fix our issues and not just selling a new roof. They had very professional information folders put together when we met and they have a very nice family and pet friendly environment in their office. We ultimately decided a roof replacement was our best value and they did fantastic work that looks great. Our yard was very clean afterwords even considering they replaced our roof with snow on the ground. Snow has melted and there was virtually no roof scrap or trash around our house.

We went with A team Construction for my brothers roof. His roof was leaking and we were heading into winter, not only did they come out before the re-roof install to stop the leak they also moved us up in the que and got his roof done in a very timely manner. I am very happy with the repair that A-Team Construction made to my roof last year. Tommy, Cory, Nicole, and Josh were professional, friendly, and prompt. They explained the reason my roof was leaking and we discussed my options to fix the damaged area or replace the whole roof. We decided to make the repair since the rest of the roof still has a few years left. The work was started and finished in one day. The repaired section looks perfect and the cleanup was thorough. I didn’t find one nail. Tommy stayed in contact with me throughout the process. My impression is this company takes pride in their work and sincerely wants their customers to be happy. I’d recommend them to anyone.A-Team also recently helped diagnose a leak in my chimney and found a reputable chimney professional to replace the chimney cap. From the moment I spoke to the office staff, all the way up until the very end, they always followed up with me to make sure I was completely satisfied and that all my questions were answered. So glad I found A-Team Construction! I had an active roof leak and after calling several places who wouldn’t even schedule me for an estimate until the next month, A-Team understood my urgency and immediately squeezed me into their schedule. Since I wasn’t sure exactly what needed to get done, they offered to either come out to give an exact estimate or to give me an estimate over the phone and just do the repair when they came out. I opted for the second option to get it fixed faster and I’m glad I did because the actual cost was less than the estimate, which was more than fair especially given how quickly they responded. They were also really thorough in explaining all the different repair options to help me make the best decision for my situation and budget. The employees who came to do the repair were prompt, professional, and gave me good advice. Afterwards Tommy even called to make sure everything went well and that I was satisfied with the repairs. First, thank you so much! This entire experience has been beyond what I could have imagined. From the very beginning when I sent a request through A-Team's website to get a quote, to the finishing touches on the punch list, A-Team has been A+ rock stars! Being able to walk into a kitchen that I actually want to spend time in now has been a huge weight off the shoulders, and has made life so much easier. I really appreciate everyone taking the time to explain the process to me as this was my first large remodel project, and answer any questions I had. The communication between all parties was my biggest fear, and it turns out I had nothing to worry about. From working with the office ladies to set up the initial consultation, to my project manager, Fred, being available to answer all my questions and help me pick out the products/materials, to my project superintendent, Steve P. and the field guys making the magic happen, there could not have been a better team out there. These guys were even super accommodating when it came to my cats and having to leave them out while they were at my home working. I had gotten 5 quotes from various local contractors here in the Madison area, and while A-Team was not the lowest nor the highest, I am so glad I chose them. They were professional, courteous, knowledgeable, honest, and just plain awesome to work with! They kept me close to my budget, and even with a few hiccups during the remodel, they kept the lines of communication open. The A-Team did emergency repairs after a tree limb put a hole in my roof. They were on site to assist the insurance adjuster when he looked at the roof damage and interior water damage. They provided an easy to understand estimate. They repaired my roof, siding, drywall damage, and painting. Their repair team answered all of my questions and did high quality work. A-Team is almost finished remodeling my house and I'm amazed at how good everything looks! They finished a room downstairs, putting in bathroom and a gas fireplace. The fireplace is beautiful - stone all the way to the roof, and cabinets built on both sides. My kitchen was also totally renovated, and now looks awesome. The rest of the house has new floors, paint, everything, and looks wonderful. A-Team is pleasant to deal with, and very professional and ethical. The subcontractors he chose were also great.I also had my roof replaced by A-Team last spring. That went really smoothly, and they did an excellent job.

I called A-Team construction last minute to get an additional quote. They were extremely courteous and knowledgeable when they came out to look at things. They took the time to explain everything with what they were looking at and would write up on the quote. Pricing was better than what I was able to find from 5 other companies in the Madison area. I contacted the A Team to install additional ventilation in the attic and repair the siding. I called a few times to make sure I was still on the calendar, was told I "was next" and they were waiting for a crew. It took maybe 6 weeks to get the crew & good weather on the same day. The men were friendly, courteous, and professional. Siding on 3 sides of the chimney needed to be redone - no one went on the roof to check the 4th side. Into the project, they realized additional boards would need to be replaced, and they stayed on site an additional day to complete the now-bigger project. Double the amount of boards came in at double the price. The work is done and looks beautiful. I would do business with the A Team again because once they were on site, they were so easy to work with.

This past summer, my car got stolen right out of our garage. At the time, the culprit smashed into the side of our garage and it needed to be repaired. We tried to contact several contractors but A-Team was the only one to respond. Expecting to schedule a repair at a much later date, we were pleasantly surprised for them to offer a repair only a few days later. The day of the repair, we were worried about time but the man assigned to the job completed the entire repair in about 5 hours! So far, it has held up beautifully and were very pleased. Afterwards, there was a minor issue with out billing but the A-Team financial dept. was very accommodating and patient. We would recommend them to anybody!P.S. My car was found only a day after the theft and everything is back to normal. :)

Having a huge oak tree fall on your house is pretty traumatic. Couple that with having a flat roof with a specialty roofing product on it and trying to find a certified roofer to replace it. Well, all my prayers were answered when I called Aaron Martinek from A-Team on a Saturday morning. Aaron came over to my home immediately (on a Saturday no less) and patched my roof until we could assess the damage and complete the claim with the insurance company. He was one of the most kind and compassionate people I have ever met. He hugged me at least three times that day telling me everything was going to be okay. Throughout the entire process, I had constant communication with my project manager Lucas who was also extremely helpful. They always listened to my concerns. My project was completed in less than three days and the craftsmen were very conscientious and respectful of my property. They cleaned up every day before they left. You don’t see that much anymore. I can’t say enough about the entire team at A-Team Construction. I will definitely refer them to friends and use them when I need other work done at my home. These days it is so hard to find contractors who really do care. A-Team really cares.

Excellence, in all phases and aspects of the project, is the approach and standard that the A-Team exhibited from the outset, and consistently maintained, from evaluation through project completion, and follow up.Evaluation, Project Planning and Ongoing CommunicationWe called A team (after unsuccessful attempts with two other companies) to address a roof leak on the attached porch, due to lack of flashing, when the porch was added on to the house. (One company told us this could not be fixed without replacing the entire siding with vinyl). A Team very promptly scheduled Chad to evaluate the issue. He was prompt, thorough, communicative, practical and very competent in analyzing that issue. He also noted some other areas of the roof needing work. But, he also suggested that before deciding on any of the work, we contact our insurance adjuster to assess some apparent hail damage (from last years' storm). We did. That resulted (the same day) in approval of an entire replacement of the roof, gutters and downspouts.Chad returned, at our request, to be present for the insurance adjuster's inspection, and met with us and the adjuster to discuss options and plans for the project. He was very helpful and constructive in that discussion too. The detailed work plan was approved and the insurance deposit check was issued at the end of that meeting. Soon after, Chad met with us to help pick out the new shingle and gutter/downspout colors, and start the scheduling.Scheduling and Project CompletionThe A Team office staff (and Chad) were in frequent touch with us as to the start date (which ended up being moved up, not delayed). As promised, the entire roof was completed in a single day, despite the extra time needed to deal with not only the siding/flashing issue on the porch roof, but also further complications that came up relating to the porch roof decking and underside decorative celling. Aaron (who personally supervised the overall job and did the detailed custom work on the porch) met with us to discuss options and costs to address that issue. He came up with a lasting and economical approach that maintained the decorative porch ceiling.The A team roofers worked efficiently, and neatly, avoiding damage to shrubs and plants, minimizing clutter and doing a great job on clean up. The gutters and downspouts were similarly completed the next day.Finally, the A Team is assisting in a detailed explanation and documentation (requested by our insurance adjuster) of the above described added work and materials, that may bring a substantial portion of these additional costs within insurance coverage. Even it does not, it is clear to us that Aaron came up with a cost effective correction of a problem that could be discovered only in the process of the re-roofing.ConclusionA team Construction is animated by its commitment to excellence, in every single aspect and dimension its work. Not only would I use them again - I plan to, for a poured/stamped concrete patio project, next year.

A year ago, my wife and I had water coming into our guest room. It was coming in through the lights (and attic) and down our walls. We had tried to take care of the problem with heat cables, but that didn’t do the trick so we called A-Team Construction and I’m SO glad we did!From the initial inspection (Josh was terrific - explaining everything in detail without selling us on anything) to the time the project was completed, my wife and I couldn’t be happier. We were given several options to work within our budget, with both Lucas and Tommy walking us through the process every step of the way. We ended up with a fully insulated attic, “boxes” around our recessed lights from 1958, and a new roof (fully ventilated!). When Josh and Brad discovered some unexpected moldy plywood on our roof, Lucas called me right away and, again, gave us recommendations and options to help us stay within our budget.I couldn’t recommend the team at A-Team more highly. After dealing with some questionable practices from other roofers/contractors, it was a breath of fresh air having such a reputable and honest group of people to work with. They are the real deal. If we ever decide to do any other work on our home, Tommy & Co. will be the first people we call.

Unbelievable. This is how I would describe A-Team Construction Unlimited, Inc. Last Thursday I discovered that one small 5 ft piece of my siding had come out and was dangling on the side of the house. This is the first time we have needed any service in the 8 yrs since building the house. My husband did some research and told me to call A-Team.I called on Friday. The lady who answered the phone was polite and helpful. We setup a time on Tues for them to come out, mine was a smaller job so they just fit me in so I would not have to wait. Early Tuesday morning one of the team came out and within an hour he had the job complete. He even noticed that the piece that had split and was hitting the piece below it. There was already a hole in that part and he said it would have given me problems in the end. He fixed that piece as well and my house was whole again. 5 days is all it took and it was done and I did not have to worry about it. Fast, efficient, and ultra friendly.I would highly recommend A-Team Construction Unlimited, Inc. They truly are an A-Team.

We are extremely happy with ATeam. We had a small gutter installation project that we wanted done promptly with all of the upcoming rain. We worked with Lucas, who was able to come out for an estimate within a week. We didn't have to be home for him to do the estimate, which was a huge bonus for us, since we both work during the day. Lucas provided us with his cell phone number so that we could contact him after hours, when we weren't busy with work, with any questions.With his estimate, he provided a picture of our house marked with color in the places and positions he planned to install our new gutters. He offered us three different options, provided pricing information for each option, and then gave us his professional recommendation for which options he thought would be best for our situation.We had two other companies provide estimates, and ATeam gave us the most prompt, thorough, and lowest price option. When we decided to go with them, they were able to install our gutters in one day within a week. They came, did their job, and left our property without a trace. After a terrible experience with a landscaping company last year, it was a huge relief to have this project be so stress free! Thanks ATeam!

I have used A-Team Construction for many, many projects over the course of owning my house. Every single person I have had contact with over the years has been pleasant, professional, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to work with. Their workers are extremely skilled and efficient and their results are impeccable. My house is EXTREMELY difficult to work on for a number of different reasons and on every single project they have figured out ways to overcome or work around every single challenge presented. They have redone all of my roofs (2 shingled roofs and 2 flat roofs), both bathrooms, one bedroom, installed slate tile in my entryway, remodeled the walls and ceiling in my kitchen, removed the garage door on my tuck-under garage and turned it into a wall with a regular door and made the finish match the rest of the house almost imperceptibly, re-sided both of my eaves and my kitchen addition, added on a front porch, and too many other small jobs to count. Every time the results come out exceeding my expectations. I recommend them extremely highly and I will be using them for any projects I have in the future as well.

We had a wood floor that had settled. In the sagging process, it also ruined our sliding door.A-Team tore up the floor, fixed the underlying support structure, painstakingly repaired the wood floor, replaced the sliding door and repaired the outside siding around it.They were responsive, timely, and finished out the job exactly as they said. I've managed over 100 construction jobs (professionally) and A-Team did exactly what you'd want from a contractor. I'd use them again and would recommend them.

My husband and I moved into a house a few months ago and wanted to make some changes that we felt would improve the quality and resale value of our home. Our realtor actually gave us a number to someone she recommended but when we called them, they kept us on hold and eventually hung up. After that bust, I searched online for another contractor and saw all of the positive reviews A-Team Construction had online. When I called them, I was greeted by Nicole who was extremely professional and friendly. She was able to have Cory come out and talk to us about what we wanted to do in a timely manner.When Cory arrived, he was excited to help us out with all of the ideas we had and gave us some feedback about what might or might not work based on our goals. He came as many times as he needed to make sure we were all on the same page about what we wanted to do. He even helped us outline the work with painter’s tape so we could get a better feel for how the finished product would look. We really appreciated how flexible he was when it came to meeting with us since my husband works long hours but still really wanted to be a part of the process. In addition, to keep costs down for us, Cory suggested and carefully explained a few demo tasks we could do ourselves. A-Team is very busy so we did have to wait a few weeks for the work to be done, but it was done quickly and efficiently.I love how Tommy, the Vice President, keeps the lines of communication open throughout the entire process to ensure we are 100% happy with the work. Even after they were done, he has followed up to make sure everything is working well. Not every company’s VP will give out his cell phone number so you can call them directly about a concern you have. You can really feel how much he cares about his customers’ ultimate satisfaction.My only complaint is about the drywall guy they work with. He left some fruit scraps on the floor after he was done for the day which we thought was rude and unprofessional. However, when we called them about it, they handled our complaint with grace and assured us that he was going to be addressed.Bottom line: I would without a doubt recommend A-Team Constructionfor your remodeling needs. Call them. You won’t regret it!

A-Team was extremely helpful and assistive up until I signed my contract. I signed a contract with A-Team Construction on June 25, 2014, gave them a check for half the cost, and was told they should be able to complete the work in the next week or two. This was for a job involving a large hole in my roof, a few broken rafters, and 30' of ripped open soffits from a tree falling on it. After 3 weeks and no A-Team contact, I called them and I was told that my repair job had been forgotten internally and that I was now #28 in the work queue. In the end of August I was told I was #2 in the queue. They stated my job was delayed due to large scale commercial projects. When my job was set to be worked on September 17, no one showed up so I called them and was told some of the team was experiencing illness and to plan for Monday. Never happened. Tommy was very professional, but kept repeating the same story - "We have the materials and we have the foreman for your project ready to go, but we are struggling to get one of our crews freed up." It was dozens of calls and over 15 weeks of waiting until finally October 09, 2014 they got to my job. A week earlier I told them I will be writing reviews and desired more frequent updates to when my job work would be completed. They got to my job because it was subcontracted to another company “The Gardner Company” and that subcontractor had no problem getting to the work with only a weeks notice.The work quality that “The Gardner Company” performed, which A-Team subcontracted to, was good. My roof and soffits look like they did before the tree damage. The subcontractor did mistakenly change my downspout sizes which I had explicitly told A-Team I don’t want changed, fortunately A-Team did come back out to fix this. A different group came out with a plain white van to replace the gutters and Tommy said this was A-Team’s group doing the gutters. However, when I asked the gutter group for a business card, I received one for an entirely different company.I hired A-Team to repair a hole in my roof and I spent more time talking with them on the phone then what it took to get the job done. The job only took about one full day with two people to repair. Fortunately, Tommy was considerate, understanding and empathetic up until the final payment.I had expected that Tommy (Vice President) would give me some form of a discount as he had stated they can compensate with money and that sometimes they will complete the work even after returning the deposit. After receiving the final bill and asking about a discount, he gives me a second even higher payment amount implying I should pay more because they didn’t have any profit on my job and finishes his email “Please receive this notice as required by law that unless payment is received in full we will pursue placing a lien against on your property and plan to report the lien to all three credit bureaus until the balance owed is paid in full.”My opinion is that A-Team construction did not meet their end of the contract with a timely job completion, wasted many hours of my time, put at risk additional damage to my home and was unwilling to compensate me (not even with a small discount) for the disappointing and troubling service.

It's too bad our insurance company wasn't as efficient as they were (after losing track of our claim for 6 months). A-Team members were patient and courteous with us while we decided on the shingles that work best for us.

A-Team Construction was amazing and provided superior quality and caring in their workmanship. From day one meeting with Aaron until the last bit of sawdust was swept up we really could not have asked for more. We did a kitchen remodel taking out a divider wall and opening things up to be one room with a small seating area as well for morning coffee. Our designer Kelly really listened to our ideas and how we function in our house with lots of cooking and kids in and out. She was able to create a look and flow that completely works for us and brings a wow from visitors. During the construction weeks our on-site supervisor kept us informed daily of the progress, any roadblocks and next steps. They also did a great job cleaning up each day as we were still “living” in the space and making meals. I would highly recommend A-Team for your home needs as they will ensure you are completely satisfied and in love with your new space.

Late in the afternoon we had a leak in the roof of the dealership due to melting snow on an aging roof. We called A-Team who dispatched a technician to the dealership right away. It wasn't an hour and he found and repaired the problem. Great service, reasonable prices and epic response. We will continue to do business with the A-Team for years to come.

We've used A-Team for a couple different projects at the hotel I currently work for. We've used them for massive huge projects, and just recently a simple small project.
