FVR&S did a beautiful roofing job at our home. We have a large home with complicated roof angles and we couldn’t be happier with the result. We had quotes from other providers but this company was substantially more reasonable in cost. I was also happy that they were patient enough to work with our insurance carrier (which was not easy). The company came recommended from other family members of ours that had good experiences and I would recommend them as well. The owner is very experienced and knowledgeable.

Fox Valley Roofing was quick and efficient in tearing off the old and prepping for the new shingles. They were just as fast with laying down the new roof. The crew were pleasant and friendly. NIGHTMARE! Do not hire!We hired this company to replace our roof after a hail storm. Brian, the salesman told us part of the service would be quoting out the garage damage for insurance so we could find another contractor for that. When he was supposed to show up to take photos and prepare the paperwork, it was crickets! He refused to respond to phone calls and texts for weeks!Install day comes. The crew were all great and hard-working guys, but the company didn't order enough shingles! They made a poor attempt to plastic wrap the roof for the night. I woke up to a torrential downpour and water STREAMING through my bathroom ceiling!!! The crew is cozy in their vans in the street as my attic is filling with water!!!Brian promises to reimburse us $1,000 for this situation. CRICKETS. AGAIN. The crew is clearly not trained in how to handle this situation and comes down from the attic with a few small handfuls of wet insulation. Every time we go up there, we point out more wet areas. My husband ends up having to take a day off work and miss another day of vacation to monitor/deal with this attic/bathroom situation because no one from the company is supervising and every time they are "finished", we find more wet areas. These 2 missed days and the damage done to the ceiling in the bathroom are definitely worth more than the promised $1,000.When I finally get a hold of Sam, the owner, we talk for probably a couple of hours combined over the next few weeks. He spends each phone call bashing Brian, telling me how much money Brian has lost him over the years and "If his mouth is open, he's lying", on and on. Yet, Sam continues to employ Brian and never takes ownership for all of these issues. We end up settling on $500 and Sam promises "in return" to finish the garage claim and deal with insurance. He promises that "the insurance companies are afraid of him" and they will get the garage taken care of. He says he's spent a lot of time on the phone with insurance. Fast forward- I call my company and they say Sam and Brian never filed a claim for the garage. Lies! I made a couple phone calls and got the doors replaced no problem, despite Sam cursing my insurance company and claiming that they were so terrible to deal with.Clean up- shingles, tons of nails, and debris EVERYWHERE! The nails were the worst! Sam blamed it on the gutter contractors, but his company was responsible for contracting this and should have seen the project to completion. Again, no accountability, just more blaming of others. Additionally, we almost had a gutter go through the front window!!This company will 100% reply to this review just as it does for all of the other negative reviews- he will blame us, lie about what happened, and take zero responsibility. We understand mistakes happen, and we would have had no issues if the company had been honest, followed through on promises, and provided fair compensation for their own terrible mistakes. However, we have never dealt with more lies and excuses from a company. We will continue to tell everyone we know to stay far away from this company!

We had an appointment set for an estimate on work that needs to be done but guess what nobody ever showed up. No call and no show. The owner finally called us 3 days later which was Friday June 3rd and he advised my wife before he can go any further is that we would have to he would have to take down the bad review. Why should we take down the truth. You will not silence us. We will not give you are business.

Terry and Anthony of Fox Valley Roofing & Siding did a wonderful job renovating the outside of our house this summer. Our house has over 3500 sq.ft. so the job was sizeable. They replaced siding, trim, shutters, lights and doors. Terry and Anthony worked in a very professional manner and gave us many helpful suggestions. Started great, Brian set up everything then fell off the face of the earth. Next came Sam the owner couldn't believe how I was treated would handle it himself, then he apparently joined Brian in the silent zone. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Had some delay getting shingles. Owner kept me informed of schedule and called ahead regarding shingle delivery and installation. The crew came as promised at 6:15 am and had project completed and everything cleaned up by by 3:00 pm. Noticed a couple of dings in fascia, otherwise everything looks good.Service: Roof installation

They did a great job on my roof! Everything was explained to me about the current status of my roof and what was needed. They did a new roof and gutters in two day which was great. They also did a repair on my old roof before about 4 inches of snow fell this year. I would recommend them!

We contracted Fox Valley to re-side and replace front doors (storm and main doors). Fox Valley did a good job on siding and installation of the front doors. Only a couple of issues. The front doors did not match the trim around the front door. The doors was cream and I wanted white. Fox Valley did correct the problem with the color of the doors but it did take a long time before it was complete. Communication with Fox Valley was weak as well. We were not advised of the solutions and wondering what was being done. (Some thing to work on.) But overall the job was done correctly and to our liking. Thank you.

We were given an estimate almost double the other roofing company and told we needed a roof in the next year. This was done without ever getting on a ladder to inspect our roof. He also suggested we sign a contract now for next fall to lock in prices. I suspect he was a commissioned sales person.

I had a contract signed to replace flashing due to water leaking in our house. The contract was signed in February for work to be completed within about 4 weeks. It's now the middle of June. The company sent out a sub-contractor who disagreed with the initial assessment and put tar on the flashing point instead of doing the work agreed upon. The first rain we had it leaked in right away. That subcontractor was fired and a new one assigned. That was over a month ago. I've asked for updates and my contact at Fox Valley Roofing & Siding no longer responds to me. Poor customer service. I would not recommend this company.

We had a new roof installed in Sept. of 2017.Shortly after that we discovered a leak in our attic.We have reached out numerous times now.1st guy said it was "just condensation".Ummm, my attics been dry for 20 years.New roof and NOW we have condensation?This past summer I had water dripping from a ceiling fan on the main floor, directly under the area we have found water in the attic.2 different "project managers" since, admitting there "is a leak" but no follow thru after that.This has been going on for THREE YEARS NOWThe last time we called (Oct. 13, 2020) we were told they couldnt find the contract?Were we sure they did the work? Are you kidding me ??I took a picture of the contract and sent it immediately.STILL CRICKETSDone with asking nicely.Service: Roof installation
