After realizing that our sump pump had not been plugged into the outlet for I don't know how long, we got water in the basement as a result.During my clean up session in the basement I saw multiple cracks in the walls of our basement that I had not noticed before. I did an extensive Google search for foundation experts in our area and decided to call Accurate.Tony came out to inspect. I told him about my fears regarding the foundation. He could have easily taken advantage of our situation but he was very honest in his assessment. Tony informed me that although we have cracks in the walls, we don't need work done at this time and we should monitor the cracks and walls.Although my husband and I were prepared to get the work done, it was a relief knowing it was not as serious as I thought. It was also good to meet someone like Tony, an honest person clearly working for an honest company. We will definitely call Accurate to do any work we might need in the future. Thanks Tony!

Back at the start of the year we experienced some bad flooding in our basement after heavy snow melt and rain fall.We called Accurate Basement repair to come take a look and they told us we needed our drain tile replaced. John was our point of contract and from the start he was kind, informative, and helpful.We ended up having them come in around April to replace the drain tile around the entire perimeter of our basement floor, install a new sump pump, and while they were here additionally install an egress window.Through the entire process the team at Accurate made what was ultimately an unexpected home repair as smooth and painless as possible. John was extremely knowledgeable and always a phone call away to answer my many questions as we approached the date of work. The office staff was kind and helpful while handling scheduling and payment. Once the crew arrived for the work, they were polite, clean, respectful, and did the work in only 3 days. I couldn’t believe how fast and efficiently they worked.The work done was extremely high quality. When the city inspector came out to do the final inspection, he even made a comment about what a good company we chose and that Accurate does very quality work.John and the entire team at Accurate were amazing. I need to make it clear that I never had Accurate Basement Repair do work on my house. This is because after a year and a half, three home visits, and multiple phone calls, phone messages, and texts, I cannot get a project proposal. I was told that they want to do the job and have repeatedly been told that a proposal would be coming shortly, but I think my project is a big one, and they put me off because they can do several smaller ones and make more money. Since they are one of the only outfits in the area that do helical pier work, which I need, I was eager to get a bid from them. They are highly rated, but I have come to realize that I will not be able to consider them for my home.

Brian was amazing! We had some water in the basement and came right over even at 7:30 at night and walked through the basement and found the issue and helped us fix it in under an hour. Intermittent basement water problems for years. I called Accurate and over the course of a week they had the problems diagnosed with a logical solution. Although drain tile work is invasive and messy, Paul and crew were great from start to finish. They we always on time, professional, efficient and completed the job without any issues. No water issues over the last month even with significant rainfall. Paul was also great with follow up questions and the price was very competitive. A job well done! Highly recommend without any reservations!

I absolutely do not recommend this company. In November, we had our drain tiles replaced along with the sump pump and water pressure tank. Within days of them completing their work, we started having problems with the water pressure. The water pressure was sending air with water through the pipes so bad that it was shaking the floors and you could hear it throughout the house. Naturally, since Accurate JUST installed a new pressure tank (and we never had any issues with water pressure before) we called to see if they could come back to take a look. We called multiple times and left multiple messages and eventually spoke with Brian (who initiated the project with us), who dismissed our concerns and essentially said that it was all fine as is. At this point in time we already had multiple concerns including: holes drilled into the concrete of our walls that were never filled in, wooden sticks left in the newly installed basement window that they replaced, and the water pressure. It wasn't until I called and spoke with Michelle (props to her for being the only professional and accountable one that we worked with) specifically stating that our concerns were being dismissed that they agreed to send out the plumber who installed the new water pressure tank. When he did come out his main mission was to fill in the holes in the concrete. It took a lot of encouragement on my end to even get him to look at the water pressure tank (main concern). When he did, he simply assured us that he installed it right and that any issues with it were due to a low water table (our well is 200 ft deep) or a problem with our well. We were encouraged to follow up with well specialists if we continued to have issues, which we did. Now I will say this, the plumber was very patient at answering my many questions and did so very politely. He just didn't fix the issue that they caused.Prior to this, we were responsible for supplying the new water pressure tank. We weren't sure if the one we got was right since it didn't look like our old one. We went over what we purchased with Accurate prior to installation, they had no concerns so neither did we. Additionally, they removed the old one and installed the new one.Per their recommendation, we had the well specialists come out. We explained what was going on and showed them a picture of our previous water pressure tank. Almost immediately they were able to identify the problem. Basically, the water pressure tank was the wrong kind for our well. The new water pressure tank has a bladder (our old one did not) and was basically serving a function that our well set up already was -- thus the pressure issues. They also noted that the installed check valve was not up to code. Essentially, the plumber was working outside their scope of practice for a good portion of the water pressure installation. Had they been able to recognize that the water pressure tank was the wrong type (or acknowledged that the issue we were having with the water pressure might be from the newly installed water pressure tank), they could have saved us MONTHS of headache. There is no reason for a professional service to require so much follow up work for their consumer. With the exception of Michelle, there was minimal accountability and very poor communication.I did give them two stars because, as far as I can tell, the work they did (replacing our drain tiles and installing support beams) was good work. However, was the five months of headache, additional problems, and a ton more work on our end worth it? I would have rather just picked someone else and avoided all of this.

We were considering fixing up the basement and concerned about cracks in the walls down there. Reached out to Accurate Basement repair. They got back to me in a timely manner (which I appreciate). Brian Leffler came over took a look, reviewed some older reports documenting the status of my basement. His assessment sounded fair and honest. He was not a high pressure salesman. Would definitely recommend. Mine and my wife's minds are more at ease.

I would HIGHLY recommend Accurate Basement Repair for any basement drain tile work. They just finished repairing out indoor drain tile in our Wauwatosa home and they did a phenomenal job. The entire crew was extremely hard working and organized and they were on time and explained the work thoroughly with each step. Ricky our crew manager was a terrific communicator and his crew worked all day like a well oiled machine. Everyone knew their job and preformed at 100%+. Subsequent technician work by Naned was done very well and in a timely manner and Ricardo who installed the sump pump did a terrific job too. We get water in our basement during big storms. We called Accurate Basement Repair and Jon came out. After assessing the inside and outside, he talked me through various scenarios, steps, etc., but ultimately point to an external and non-basement repair that we should undertake first. Great professionalism and candid feedback on our situation; I didnt' feel upsold or blown off, just a good conversation. If the external fixes don't do the trick, I'll be calling them back; no need to keep looking for a basement contractor!

I use this company about 2 years ago in October to do some work for drain tiles around my entire basement and to install a sub pump. I wanted to wait before I did a review to actually see how well the workmanship was. Unfortunately, I was tied up with the military, so it took me a little longer to do this review. First off, they are far better than just the other companies I had come over and quote me. Some wanted to do things that were not even necessary which confused me. My house is built in 1947 and it's been dry except for one bad rain that filled up the bowl and I had water starting to come in between the floor and the wall on my northwest wall. The owner actually came out and looked at everything and gave me a really good quote, so I went along and did it. We talked about putting in a sub pump also because I did not have one and being in the military sometimes, I'm gone so we have a battery backup on this. I'm very impressed by the workmanship and how well they did everything and the timing of it also and how clean everything was afterwards. I would recommend this company to anyone if you want some honest hard good work done to your home at the right price where they're not going to rip you off. I can say after 2 years of having this work done to my house there's never been an issue, and everything has been dry. Now in some of my pictures you will see some cracks but that's because that's going to happen no matter who does does the work due to expansion and contraction to concrete when it cures. That is not an uncommon thing and once that happens, he will tell you exactly what to do after that or they come out there. But I did the work on my own. I didn't take a lot of photos because I got so much stuff in my basement right now over most of it. But once again A1 5 star rated company right here that I would recommend to anyone. Thanks again to everyone at accurate basement repair for the fine job you guys did. UPDATE AUG 2023>>>>>>So I was recently deployed with the military out of country, and I just wanted to say that for another year that went by and with the battery back up my basement was in tip top and still stayed dry. I am so glad I went with this company because when I am gone for that long and don't have to worry about my basement flooding, even with the power going off, that's a win win situation. Now, since I was back, we had a storm i believe it was on the 25th of August that was very similar if not worse than the storm that started to flood my basement prior to calling this company. It rained so hard, and we even had hail, but my basement was dry again. It doesn't cost anything to get a quote and once again I highly recommend this company.Service: Foundations

Waited only 2 days after I called to have someone check the problem. I’ve used them in the past and have always been satisfied with their services. I'm something of an alarmist, so when I started noticing small crack lines on the wall and a widening of a crack on the foundation floor, I began to worry that the house we bought 10 years ago was facing impending doom. I did a google search for a foundation repair company, and was immediately taken by the other reviews for Accurate Basement Repair; they were even handed with an honest assessment. Fast forward a few days, and Jon arrived to take a look at our home...He advised me that, "yes" the house had sunk on one side by a 1/2", but likely did over a long time, and while it might one day be an issue, and I wasn't crazy for calling an expert in, it wasn't an issue that needed any current repair. He put my mind at ease, by explaining where our issues stood vs other homes in immediate need of repair.In the end, I was lucky to not need their service, but also very happy I had an honest inspection by them. It was not their goal to distress the homeowner, just to make a sale.If one day I, or you dear reader, need a foundation repaired... you know who to call!

Paul was extremely helpful in explaining the process in laymen terms so I could understand. They were able to fit me in within a reasonable timeframe. The workers showed up on time and did a great job and cleaned everything up at the end of the day. Ran into a hiccup during the initial project which meant they had to come back and were able to fit me in the schedule within a week. Weather was on our side thank goodness. The office answered all my questions and Paul was available through out the process as well. I would recommend them for any basement needs. I did get other estimates and they were in the same range as others. Much better communication not only in the process but returning calls and following up. I feel a burden has been lifted off my shoulders now that the project is completed. I had a large job. I had a foundation inspector come in first so I knew exactly what was wrong and needed along with a general guideline on possible cost. I needed drain tiles installed the perimeter of the basement, a sump pump added, 3 post brackets on the west side and 9 to 10 n the east side. The hiccup was my East wall was caving in more than we originally thought which meant we needed to excavate on the East wall. They showed me and explained everything. I appreciated being informed and given an option whether I wanted to do it since it was not in the original contract. I did not feel pressured at all. I wanted it to be done right and not run into any issues down the line so moved forward with the extension on the contract. I know others whom have had similar work done on there basement. Not only were they impressed with the cost but also with the finished job. Very professional work crew as well. I was home during the entire process. They truly impressed me. Called Accurate based on a recommendation from a friend. Brian came out to check out out situation. He was thorough in explaining what was happening. We haven't officially hired them yet, but I was very pleased with how he helped me understand what was happening.UPDATE January 2020: Accurate is absolutely fantastic. Multiple people from the renovation company have complemented how well the finish product. The flooring company installing our floor said this was the best concrete work they have seen from a drain tile job. I cannot recommend them enough.

I will definitely recommend Accurate Basement. Brian came out to my house to determine why I had water in my crawlspace. He suggested I do some grading on the side of my house and gave me detailed instructions on the best way to get this done. Great to know this company will not do unnecessary work just to put money in their pockets when a homeowner can take steps themselves to resolve an issue. I would say this is a company you can trust.
