The roof itself is beautiful (we've had several neighbors ask who did the work) and the gutters are working better than they have since we moved in. The crew worked fast, only taking three days to complete the tear off of three layers, re-roof, and gutter installation! We are so happy with the job that Community Roofing and Restoration did on our beloved 120 year-old building! They replaced the roofing, and flashed and resided around our eight-sided turret, which had developed a leak. The turret is the central focus of our building, so it’s repair was critical. Community two crews, roofing and carpentry, showed up on time, and went about their work in a very professional manner. Luis, and his roofing crew, took off that section of old roofing and siding, and replaced the roofing in just two days, which included replacing a few rotten wood planks. Incredible! Next, the carpenters, Jerry and Bobby, replaced the cedar shake shingles which define the turret, in a very straightforward, professional manner. Their attention to detail in replacing the shake, was amazing. Like old world craftsmen, who took pride in precision and detail, they “sculpted” each piece like an artist, yet finished their work in a very timely matter. The experience with CRR started 8-months ago when (3) of our Condo Board Members met Josh at our 10-building condo property. In September 2022 our Board was seeking multiple contractors professional opinions on the condition of the roofs on our 20-year old buildings. We didn't ask for prices, we asked for honest statements of condition & an action plan. Josh and CRR did exactly that by providing us photos and reasons for the most immediate roofing replacements. Josh followed up timely and fully described in writing the process CRR would follow, including verification of soffit intake, highly engineered peak exhaust product, and options for shingle material and prices. Our Condo Board compared the material, process, warranty and pricing of (3) respected contractors. We also compared material, install process and pricing for full gutter & down-spout replacements. In January 2023 we selected CRR and confirmed spring 2023 start dates for (3) buildings. CRR followed up in April and conducted a detailed walk thru with our Board and the CRR project managers that would be on-site every day. From start to finish CRR did what they said they would do .. all (3) buildings complete roofs and gutters completed in 3-weeks. No short cuts & no unexpected add-on costs. The Board and our Owners are totally impressed and satisfied with the roof and gutter products, the CRR crew & their workmanship. CRR clean-up was also excellent. We will definitely include CRR in the proposal process for additional buildings in 2024.

After doing my research, I decided to go with CRR for the highly complex job of installing 8 skylights with custom combination flashing on the roof of my historic bungalow. After working closely with multiple staff from CRR throughout the entire project, I don’t think I could have chosen a more professional contractor for this daunting task.Casey Gaffney (project manager) was extremely detail oriented and walked me through all the specifics of my unique project before work even began. His communication and attention to detail reassured me that all of this unique work would be done to the highest standard. Due to the complexity of the job, Casey put one of CRR’s most qualified installers (Kyle Northrup) in charge of the project due to his decade+ experience doing technical skylight work. It was a pleasure working with Kyle and his team of roofers. They were true professionals with great communication skills and did an absolutely beautiful job on installing the windows.

We had a great experience from start to finish with Community Roofing and Restoration. Our initial visit was with Steven who did a great job laying out the options we had for replacing our rubber roof and making an extra trip out so we could color match the new materials. Casey worked with us on the project itself and was able to get our project completed months ahead of schedule. We were so happy to have our work completed in December when we were originally slated for late spring! He was helpful answering questions during & after the work and sent a ton of great information and photos showing the various stages of the roof being replaced.The team that was here was great and all of the plants that were in their work area were undisturbed. Our roof is better than it was before, with nicer looking trim around our chimney and detailed work done where the rubber roof met our gutters. We're fairly certain they fixed our gutter level issues in the process, too. Everyone at CRR was very easy to reach, communicative at all stages, and great to work with. We will definitely use CRR again for any future work on our home.

We needed to replace our 5 sunroom windows because of some rotting wood. Nate and his team did a great job with the removal and install of windows. They completed the install and trim work in less than two days during our sub zero days plus heavy snow weather and did excellent cleanup for us. The windows look awesome! We highly recommend them.

A section of my gutter clogged and leaked badly, so I called Community Roofing. They came to repair my gutters in a timely manner and did an excellent job! My gutters no longer leak! And they left the work area spic & span. It hasn't been enough time to tell if the clogging problem has been fixed, but the workman explained why he felt it was clogging and how he planned to prevent future problems. I feel confidence the chances of the problem being fixed are pretty good. Throughout, everyone I talked and worked with was friendly, courteous and helpful. I even had another home repair they weren't able to do, and, without prompting, gave me the names of a couple businesses they felt were reliable that I could contact! The cost of the project was their base price for any of their services, and I felt they were worth it. Overall, I was very impressed with the professionalism and service of this company, and would have no hesitation in calling them again with any future repair needs.

**UPDATE** 03/12/24 - Changed from 3stars to 4stars. The company installed siding, gutters, soffit, fascia & gutter guards on my garage. The workers were all very friendly, knowledgeable & proficient. I am very pleased with the install. They are working with me and my time schedule because I'm juggling a few projects. The next project from Comm Roof & Rest will be on the house.**UPDATE** 11/27/23 - Changed from a 1star to 3stars. The owner reached out and is scheduled to come out for a quote/proposal. I'm still hopeful I can reach 5 stars like the other reviews.I was hopeful this company would live up to the positive reviews I read. My experience was nothing positive. The employee came out to my house, talked through the process and told me it may take over a month to get a quote. I wasted 2 months waiting to hear anything. I get email solicitations from them so I know they have my contact information.

We hired Community Roofing to do a complete reroof and replace our gutters. We’ve hired them a few times over the past 20+ years and have been completely satisfied every time. Paul Bistan, our sales rep, was very professional and helpful. He and the foreman, Chuy, were very responsive and accessible throughout the process. Chuy contacted us several days before the project was going to start to ask if we had any questions or concerns, which was helpful because we were able to make sure we were on the same page about the details of the project. I found the service provided by Steve from community roofing and restoration to be very helpful. Steve was knowledgeable about the issue at hand and took additional time to draw a couple pictures to illustrate how air ventilation works and how improper insulation can potentially stress the attic air ventilation system, which seems to be my issue. Although I will not need Steve's services because he does primarily roofing he was able to give me a sound referral and guidance on next steps. Thanks Steve!
