JK Contractors were hired to replace our roof. We were able to get a quote and a start date established quickly which was great since the roof of our house we had just bought was in bad shape. They not only replaced our roof but also ended up replacing our gutters as well. They did a great job on both tasks. The crew was able to complete the job in one day and left the property clean and safe. We are incredibly satisfied with their work and will be reaching out in the future for any other repairs we might need. Thanks to Jeff and his team!

JKContractors replaced our roof and gutters in 2021 and did an impressive job! We invited them to replace our siding and deck this year. They finished the job last week. The house and the new deck look amazing! We had a very bad experience with the siding job around our windows done by the window company last year that brought us tons of stress and JK redid it. The results are incomparable! The crew is hardworking and caring! They stand behind their job. Highly recommend!

Do not take the risk - hire another contractor!JK Contractors destroyed my near new roof when they installed gutters, cracking or tearing every shingle on the roof perimeter, often going up several shingles.Instead of cutting off the old gutters (per contract) they were torn/ripped off, taking the ice and water shield with them. Many times before and on the day of installation I asked and owner Jeff confirmed absolutely no harm would come to my roof - he lied - repeatedly.It’s hard for the untrained eye to see, though a roofing contractor and owner of a 41-year company would have recognized it immediately, my roofer confirmed.He knew, did nothing about it, and a year passed before I noticed - I’ve been living in a now likely water damaged home for a year! I may have been exposed to the mycotoxins from mold - a carcinogen! The house smells like wet wood.Within just three hours of posting on NextDoor to see if others had similar experiences, three responded with nightmare stories: flooded homes, rotted wood, leaks, water damage, mold - in all those cases as in mine, he never responded to their calls and emails for him to correct a major problem or reimburse for expenses and loss/damages.I have filed a claim directly with his insurance, Frankenmuth, and recommend others who have similar problems do the same. I am also preparing a lawsuit to file for damages the insurance company doesn’t cover.Save yourself the time and misery. Find someone else! Perhaps he does better work on occasion, maybe for larger jobs, but several homeowners Had a horrible experience.Service: Gutter installation

Roof, siding, porch, insulation and new windows were installed by the JK team, including tear off of old materials. About a dozen homes in our neighborhood have used them, and everyone sings their praises. We, too, could not have been happier. This team worked fast, were tidy, quiet and and professional- project managers on site working with the crew every day were quick to update us on progress and address questions that arose.They book out quite a ways, and are not as quick as others to return initial outreach, but once your scheduled and your work begins, they are extremely attentive to your project and needs. I called JK Contractors for a patio door installation. I "worked" with them for 9 weeks, starting in February. Communication was terrible, but given the demand in the industry, we gave him the benefit of the doubt (our mistake). We never got a door ordered or an installation date. Such a waste of time.Jeff came over twice, once for the initial consultation and once to get a us a sketch to pull a permit - that was March 2022. Still have not heard a word from them (currently mid May). Mind you, he had sent an estimate prior to the second visit and wanted $1500 down with no secured permit.On that initial consultation, he told us we had to move an air duct and an outlet would have to be moved. Within 2 weeks, we had the duct moved. The outlet he told me not to worry about even getting anyone in prior to install as they wouldn't be able to tell us anything until they're in the wall. Then during the second visit for the sketch permit, right when walking in the door and upon seeing the new air duct, the first thing Jeff says is, "I wouldn't have put it there." He gave us no insight or no indication of where to put it prior nor had his own subcontractor to coordinate the plan, so I trusted our HVAC professionals to make that assessment. Then he proceeds to ask, "who's your electrician, that outlet needs to be moved before we can do anything." As stated above, that is not what he initially told us. He treated us as if we knew what we were doing and then belittled us for not knowing the ins and outs or removing an exterior wall and putting in a door. If we knew anything about this project, we wouldn't be hiring you for $5k+ to do it.From start to finish, communication was lacking, what he did tell us was contradicting, and he was just flat out rude. Don't waste your time or money. Given the lead times on these projects, I'd have my project done by now had I started the process with someone else.

We received quality product and installation,; both of which are backed by substantial warranties. Communication with Jeff was fantastic both before and during the project. I was quoted and signed for a small $1600 repair job at my house in December '22 with JK Contractors. I was told 4 separate times that the work would be done within the next couple weeks. I ultimately canceled my work with them in June '23 since they never showed up to do the work.

Working with JK Contractors was nothing short of phenomenal from start to finish. I called to set up an estimate, and within a 24 hr span, I had someone come out, give my home a thorough inspection and estimate, and a signed contract for work. Although they had a lot of work lined up, they were able to prioritize my job, being that I had a hole in my roof leaking into my attic. When they started, they tore off 2 layers of old roofing and installed a brand new roof in ONE DAY. My roof is approximately 2,100 square feet with multiple levels, so I was extremely impressed in their quick work, and also maintaining an extremely high-quality appearance. They were respectful, prompt, and responsive from start to finish in the process. I would absolutely recommend JK Contractors for anyone needing work done on their home.

We were not familiar with JK Contractors until this summer when we saw them do a roof on a home on our street. The roof was completed in one day with a great crew. We met with Jeff who went all around our house and even looked into the attic to see our insulation. We were impressed with his thorough proposal for the roof and because we felt so comfortable that he would do a great job, were decided to replace our siding as well. And as long as we were making our house maintenance free, we asked him to redo our decks. Jeff has a team of craftsmen who really care about their work. We were amazed at all they did. They created a beautiful pillar for our porch and designed a decorative post for the front of our house. They worked hard even in the hottest days of this summer. They are a crew who are knowledgeable , friendly and professional. The roof, insulation, soffits, rain gutters, siding, downspouts, and the decks were completed in 8 days.They did a fantastic job!! There many features we were not expecting which added so much to the appearance of the house. The work they did really far exceeded our expectations!!Jeff and his crew went above and beyond! JK Contractors replaced the siding on my house with HardiePlank. The whole process with Jeff was professional from the initial walk around to the quote to getting the job scheduled after the siding arrived from the factory. The installation crew was exceptional, highly skilled, friendly, and professional. The entire project was completed in 2 days. The siding looks great. My concrete foundation is exposed above the grade about a foot. Jeff suggested to cover the exposed foundation with aluminum trim that matched the siding. Mitch did an awesome job doing the actual work. The result makes house look a million times better.
