If you need a roofer, we highly recommend Josh Vianes at JRV Roofing. Josh put a beautiful roof on our home a few years back, and we have never had any issues. During the job, a huge thunderstorm came out of nowhere (I had watched the weather and the radar, and there was zero notice). In minutes, Josh had a tarp over our 3800 sq ft house, and nothing got wet.We are now selling the home, and an inspector flagged a piece of flashing that looked like no big deal to me. Anyway, I had to “cure” this, so I called Josh. He had two guys come by almost immediately, and they secured the flashing, and I was good to go.Quality work, great customer service, and no surprises! I have recommended JRV Roofing to many of my neighbors. Josh Vaines does a good job bidding a job and bringing a good crew to do the work. JRV replaced our roof in 2017 when we first moved to Milwaukee and then done some minor repairs to parts of our roof that was not replaced. You can imagine my surprise when I met with Josh and sent many text messages to him to get some minor roofing issues addressed before selling our home. I would not recommend JRV Roofing Milwaukee. He has not been upfront with us from the beginning. Roof was installed last fall was supposed to have a CertainTeed warranty but to this day still have not received a warranty of any kind from CertainTeed. Josh does not return phone calls or emails. He does not appear to be a shingle master. The last message I received from him was that he had 87 customers waiting on warranties that were not being processed by CertainTeed due to a website problem. I don't believe anything he says anymore. He has not been honest from the beginning. I went with him through a recommendation and to give business to a small business man. This did not serve me well. Josh does not seem to have a back bone to stand up and do the right thing for his customers. His actions make me pause and rethink about using a small contractor for anything again. I can't judge the quality of the work as I can't go up on the roof. He never stopped by to inspect the work his crew did. All I can say is so far we have no leaks.

The new roof had three leaks, shingles that fell off, and nail pops. Josh ghosted me and will not honor his warranty leaving me with thousands in damage he caused.

I thought that getting a new roof would be a HUGE hassle, but JRV honestly made it really easy. They got in contact with me right away and it was really easy to communicate with Josh throughout the entire process. The price was the lowest of the estimates we got, with a longer product guarantee. They did a total tear off (of two layers) and installation on my very steep duplex + garage in only THREE days! I had JRV Roofing replace the roof on my garage and a small section on my house in July 2017. I have since had a leak on the roof of the garage and have requested JRV to fix the leak as per the 10 year No Leak Warranty. After several text/phone calls to Josh, a crew was sent to fix the leak. Unfortunately the leak continued and I again notified Josh using Text and Phone. Josh does not return phone calls or text messages. It has now been several months in which I text weekly with no response (basically ghosting). The last text I sent was a month ago indicating I would be posting a negative review if I did not receive a response within a month. I have not receive a response, thus the negative review.I would not recommend using JRV Roofing as the 10 year No Leak warranty appears to be bogus.Service: Roof installation

Josh is the only roofing contractor that told me I don't need a new roof, only a fix in the corner of our dormer. We had 3 other quotes and every other company tried to sell us a new roof even though ours is fairly new and in great shape. He is honest and the work was done quickly and we no longer have a leak.

Need a roof or repairs? Look no further! After a bad experience with a different company, we found JRV and it’s been a breeze ever since. We just completed roof number 3 with them and can’t say enough good things. The work is always done with exceptional skill and the job site is clean. My mother needed some Roofing work done and it was beyond my ability. I called up jrvJRV because they had an amazing review on Angie's List. Definitely had to leave them a review on here because one star does not suit them. There are five star company Josh did a phenomenal job. I appreciate them and recommend them to anyone.
