Their subcontractors performed well, were easy to work with, and were very accountable for quality and schedule. Unexpected issues were handled professionally and any necessary change orders were fair and reasonable. The overall quality of the construction was great, and most importantly the job was done on time! I can't say enough good things about LaBonte Contruction, and wholeheartedly recommend them.

We moved from Chicago are to Shorewood over 6 years ago.We needed a new kitchen and found LaBonte construction.We could not be happier with the outcome. Dave made the process so easy for us. Not all companies do that- he did.Questions were addressed quickly and professionally.I would highly recommend him for any work that you need done at your home. I do not give many recommendations but he earned it.

The whole Labonte team was fantastic to work with. We did a large addition and garage, which required a lot of coordination with a different subcontractors. They have a create network of subs, who were also great. They did a good job keeping on schedule and we're really happy with the quality of the work.

Our family has used Labonte construction on a number of projects over the last five years including one major whole home renovation and a basement remodel.There is so much more than price that goes into selecting a good general contractor (although they were price competitive as well).Trust, communication and honesty are critically important. Coming in on time (or having clear communication about changes), coming in on budget and standing behind your work. Labonte does all of these and more.The sub contractors they use are excellent and their site managers are very professional. We’ve referred multiple friends to them and heard nothing but good feedback as well.I can’t recommend them highly enough.! 👍👍👍

LaBonte Construction recently completed work on a 'kitchen refresh' in our nearly 100-year old home. LaBonte's work exceeded my expectations in every way. First, Dave LaBonte and a colleague did a careful and thorough estimate. They asked me questions I hadn't even thought about, then carefully prepared a comprehensive estimate. Second, as I had asked, they didn't start work until all the materials had been delivered and then worked every day until the project was done. When things came up (as they always do), or I requested a change, Dave reviewed it and gave me an estimate of the time and expense. Finally, the whole crew was great. Craftsmanship was superior, and they were uniformly pleasant to work with. I would use LaBonte Construction again and recommend them without reservation.

LaBonte Construction was recommended by my Interior Decorator to do the renovation of our newly purchased condo and I am so grateful. Based on my prior experience with contractors and house renovations, LaBonte is the best. They provided a detail cost estimate and timeline when you sign the contract so there are no surprises as the work progresses. A project manager was assigned to coordinate the sub contractors and ensure the work was done per plan. We were out of state during the renovations, and the Project Manager kept us informed and sent photos of the progress. When we came up at the end of the renovation, the Project Manager was very responsive to to our questions and the minor items that needed to be addressed. Overall LaBonte Construction met their deadlines, their employees and subcontractors were trustworthy and knowledgeable and we are please with the quality of work. If you are lucky enough to get LaBonte Construction for your home improvement, you are certain to be happy with the quality of their work and the end result.

I was so pleased with my renovations by LaBonte construction. They renovated our whole house including totally redoing our kitchen and 2 bathrooms. We had a very positive experience working with LaBonte Construction. They remodeled our 1925 bungalow kitchen and we are very happy with the final product. We interviewed and got bids from many (6) contractors, but La Bonte Construction stood out among all the others. For something like a kitchen remodel (down to the studs) I wanted someone I knew I could have open and honest conversations about the process and if anything went wrong I wanted someone I felt comfortable approaching with concerns or suggestions. I found that in Dave La Bonte and Oscar who was the project manager. Besides being very knowledgeable about their trade, they are very easy to work with and genuinely friendly and attentive people. All of the La Bonte staff (Craig, Alex, and Cory) and their subcontractors were great to work with - professional, friendly, and always cleaned up at the end of the work day. They finished our remodel right on time and within the budget. The quality of their work and attention to detail was above and beyond. We would definitely hire them again.

One word: AMAZING! From our first interview to the completion date, Dave LaBonte was nothing short of incredible. Dave is knowledgeable, hard working, communicative and honest. We did a whole house renovation and had to move out during the process, Dave and his team kept us informed every step of the way. Dave LaBonte is a pros pro.As head of LaBonte Construction he never lost contact with us as his client. His prices were fair and the work was finished on schedule. Any issues that always come with major construction projects were dealt with immediately. The project included windows, doors , siding, driveways, tree removal and demolition and construction of a new garage. I’ve dealt with good GC’s before and Dave runs rings around them. His written status reports every two weeks keeps you in the loop through the entire process. Highest praise.
