American Metal roofs trained the homeowner that installed the roof on the house I bought. I have had them out to the house many times since to try to repair the roof. They stated any area they touch is covered by warranty however the roof still leaks and they won’t retry calls. Good luck if you decide to use them.Service: Roof repair

We are very happy with our metal roof. People throughout the neighborhood have commented how beautiful it looks. After years of misery with an asphalt roof, blowing off or breaking loose it gave us great comfort to have a metal roof. The installers were prompt, neat and very professional. We have had our aluminum roof now for several years. We live in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan where winter snow is a given. Thus far, we have had no problems whatsoever and are extremely pleased with our roof. The crew did a great job completing our new roof - they were punctual, they were great at cleaning up when the day was done, and they worked very hard to get the job done well and quickly. We couldn't be happier with the crew. The only issue we have is that this winter the snow coming off the roof made 2 of our entrance/exits to the house sometimes unsafe and unusable. We had discussed these locations and were told that they would be able to help direct the snow coming off the roof. Unfortunately, that didn't happen so we're just extra cautious about using the entrances, and try to keep those areas as clear as possible.

We bought our house 7 years ago. It has a metal roof that looks like shingles. It started to leak above our living area in the back of the house. We called the previous owner to find out who installed the roof. Then called that company only to find they were out of business and there was no one to honor any guarantee. American Roofing came out to assess our situation. They ended up putting a new roof on that back section of our roof. It took them a day to install 2 new skylights and the new roof. While they couldn’t match the original shingles, they did match the color, so the whole project turned out great. We hired American Metal Roof Inc to install a new roof system on our cottage near Crandon Wi. Our experience with the company could not of been better. Ray Farmer met with us, answered all our questions and explained the benefits of the Oxford Shingles we had chosen. 2 weeks later the job started! This is when we were put in contact with Scott and his crew. Super nice guy and more then willing to explain every step. The job site was kept clean and the workmanship was second to none. He even took pics of the job in progress, put on a CD and mailed to us. Very happy with the turn out and would highly recommend this company for your roofing needs.

We've had our roof for almost 5 years. It looks as good now as it did when it was first installed. They did a great job installing the roof, it gives the house a really finished look. Our previous asphalt shingle roof was failing after about 12 years. I'm confident that this roof from AMR will last the life of this house and I won't have to worry about installing another roof.

Let me start by saying everyone who I talked to was professional. I had an estimate done for my roof and was quoted over 70k for a new roof. I understand a metal roof is more expensive than a traditional asphalt roof. My issue came when I was quoted 30k for the materials and they have a diy course you can take. That means they are charging 40k for labor alone. That is without removing my existing roof. So I wanted to sign up for the DIY class to get a feel for the work and see if I could handle it. One time I tried to register online and I never received a confirmation. The second time I was told the course was not happening the day before. For reference to others I received a quote for a another “shingle” looking metal roof for 20k less and a replacement asphalt for 25k including labor. Yes these were from a reputable roofing company. You can hear their adds on the radio. If you are looking to waste your money go for it. By the way there is no huge need for aluminum roofing in Wisconsin compared to a correctly coated steel shingle. Don’t fall for their sales pitches.
