I worked with Adam to have an egress window installed in the basement office. He was responsive and professional. The estimate was spot on and pricing was reasonable.The window was installed and completed in a shorter period of time than I expected. The difference in the amount of light coming into the room is fantastic. My stepson loves his new bedroom.I plan on using Adam and his team for future projects.

Best contractor ever. Did a lot of work over 10 years for my family. Honest, professional, polite, courteous and walks you through the process step by step. Payments terms are great and easy to arrange. All work has been perfect with attention to detail. AF Construction and staff are very prompt as well. You will not find harder workers for as reasonable a cost.

I worked with Adam on a garage addition and great room fireplace addition project. His initial follow-up and honesty was greatly appreciated. I work in the construction industry but primarily in new home market so I knew I needed someone with experience in used homes. Adam made me comfortable with the scope of the project and his advice and options when opportunities arose are a few reasons why I would recommend him to anyone! Adam and his team did not cut corners always communicated with me and were extremely patient when I changed my mind or wanted to add to the scope of the project. Building a home or doing a remodel is extremely difficult because you’re doing it right in front of the customer. Adam Is a genuine guy with a great passion for his business, people and quality work!!!

Our reviews for this contractor were less than favorable. He appeared to be an excellent choice for framing our bathroom wall, in preparation of our conversion from a tub/shower to shower. He is soft-spoken and indicated interest in taking our project on.Once he received a lump sum of money, things went downhill with scheduling issues, skeleton staff and difficulties finding people to work for him on our project. Delays were the norm from the beginning. We were patient but grew weary after several weeks of uncertainty about completion dates and whixh days he would work on our project.He arrived on scene on the first day and was paid a down payment for intended services. From that point on the process of working with said contractor was at best challenging, as, it related to time management, delegation of duties and maintaining staff to complete our project.His inabiliry to show up as promised, due to other building obligations, left my wife and me with an unfinished project, exposed ductwork that he was paid to drywall and paint. The bathroom framing was crooked and left us with an opening near the wall, tgat ge promised to close.Our bathroom was framed and then abandoned, because he wanted more money or all of his remaining money, despite a downpayment and $500.00 that we paid him for his supplies and an advance for framing the bathroom wall.One full week passed without any one from his company showing up to complete work. When asked why he said he was overwhemed with projects, very busy and could not work on our project for another week. My wife and he had heated words about his continued failure to show as promised.They talked things over and contractor apologized for saying he was busy with a 40k project. He agreed that our project was as important as his "fricking" $40k project and he promised to come on 01/23 to finish and receive payment.On Sunday 1/22; said contractor emailed a letter to advise us that he was quitting and requested full compensation, despite not finishing the work that we agreed to in the contract. The whole in the ceiling was brought to his attention. (That job is incomplete and paid for). He left two rooms in an unfinished state, plus drywall, wood and other items in sprawled in our garage.Buyers beware because everything that glitters is not always gold. We are so disappointed and are left to hire someone to finish said contractors' job.
