1. The cut out for egress windows made in the existing dry wall and framing was huge and very crudely done. I had hired a carpenter to build a window box to encompass the gaping hole. The wall cannot be 'repaired' but must be rebuilt. Some idiot put a 3# hammer and wall saw on my antique dresser.2. My basement had thicker than usual walls, so the 'cut' was scheduled for the end of the week and required water-cooled saws. The room was badly damaged by water, and Zander gave me two box fans to dry the carpet over the weekend. I called a water mitigation company on Monday and the bill was $2500. Two months later, I am waiting for them to agree to costs to replace water damaged carpet, dry wall and floor trim.3 With all the running up and down the unprotected carpeted basement stairs in work boots, that carpet must also be replaced.4. Repair of my yard outside where the windows were put cost about $3k to regrade, remove debris, reseed and replace edging.CLEARLY NOT WORTH THE COST, HASSLE, OR LOSS OF SLEEP.

Zander recently did sump pump work in my basement.After finding that doing 1/2 of my basement didn’t quite fix the water prob, Zander workedHard to fit me in before the next rain, and during a very busy time for them. He arrived at the scheduled time, introduced himself, told us how the installation would be done, answered our questions, and then completed the work efficiently. I had 3 egress windows installed by Zander Solutions. The crew Brabyn, Shane, D'Anjlo, Colin, and Joe were here on time, and cleaned up their mess at the end of each work day. The entire crew was very professional and didnt mind when we wanted to watch some of the work being done. For being the middle of January the mess outside in the yard and rocks was kept to a minimum. Overall we are very happy with the work performed and would recommend the company to anyone looking for work within their abilities.

Brabyn and Shane did an awesome job with our egress window. There were a couple small hiccups with the installation due to how our house was built. When they came to them, our options were clearly explained and they took my input, moved ahead and did exactly what I wanted. It was a fantastic customer experience. I need to have my basement windows replaced and I definitely will be scheduling an appointment this Spring to have Zander Solutions do the work.

Joe Meier, at my request, visited our home and analyzed our drain problem and arrived at a solution (Proposal 1012979). On Friday, May 20th, Darryl arrived, ahead of the rest of the crew (Wolf & Dallas). Darryl discussed the project with me in an intelligent and understandable manner. When the crew went to work, it was apparent to me that Darryl had the characteristics of a civil engineer (I know several) and the work ethic of a Midwest farm worker (I've known many). Wolf and Dallas seemed to do most of the support work and the job went smoothly. I observed and took pictures of the process. I shared the pictures with a friend and neighbor, who studied engineering at the UW and worked in fields that involved engineering for many years. He was confident, as am I, that the problem we endured for many years has been solved. Additionally, I would like to express my appreciation to Zander Solutions, for their ability to do the work, at the back of our home, with a very minimal disturbance to our lawn and landscaping. It appears that there was more labor involved, but it was the correct way to approach the job.

I called another company first to fix a leaking foundation. I received a 5 page proposal to dig a trench around our house and install drainage pipes. The work proposed was 12K and would have left my lawn trashed. I then called Zander, during one of the wettest summers we've seen, and they were out within 7 days. The estimator, Greg, was able to quickly assess the problem and describe the solution. I was e-mailed a proposal a few days later. The Zander solution was a small fraction of the cost of the other company and the proposed solution, to actually repair the crack in the foundation, rather than re-route water away from the home, was the correct approach. When the technician, Brent, showed up to do the work, he was professional and courteous, clearly describing every phase of the work he was doing. He thoroughly explained the warranty and left his work area spotless. Brent is an asset to Zander and you'll be lucky to have him show-up to do the work you seek. I highly recommend Zander Solutions.

I was very satisfied with the whole experience. They were responsive, courteous, and reasonably priced. Shane offered a couple of realistic solutions and advised us of any complications that might arise. He was able to get our small repair job on the schedule even though their workload was very busy due to recent flooding in the area. Brent was the technician who did the repair today. Very satisfied with the work Zander did on my basement "crawlspace". Darrel, the onsite supervisor insisted on perfection and doing the work as if the project were on his own home. He helped me understand options and benefits of drain tile and took care to keep the rest of the house as clean as possible while doing a very messy job. I didn't get to meet Xavier, but I am very happy with the final waterproofing he completed. CJ kept in touch on email throughout the project answering my scheduling questions. The best part is the basement is now so much warmer (not to mention drier!) than it was prior to Zander's work.

Warranty work- Had a small leak in a foundation joint of my 2-year old home whenever it rained a lot. Set an appt w/ Zander, only took a week. Two techs (Carlos and Derrick) arrived on time, clean company truck, neat and professional appearance. Introduced themselves, explained what they were going to do, about how long it would take, patiently answered my questions and then got to work. They were quiet, finished when they said they would, cleaned up after themselves and thanked me for my business. The fix looks great, a little darker and glossier than the surrounding cement, but it's a tidy and best of all it doesn't leak.My opinion, this is how ALL service and repair should be done.

Basement problem...no problem for these folks! Had water come up during a storm and ruin the carpet in my basement. Upon clean up discovered that my basement floor was collapsing all along the outside walls. Called my remodeler and he had only one choice: Zander Solutions.After reading the reviews on here I had some reservations but I called the number I was given and Jessie, head of operations, answered and had Sara call me back later that day to schedule an estimate. I was really surprised when she told me it would be a month out but when you're good you're busy and I waited and prayed for no rain. Like clockwork, Joe arrived a month later, surveyed the situation and laser measured the room. I received the estimate within a couple days, remitted the down payment and was called by Daryl, the project manager, to coordinate the project. He was very thorough in his plan and process.My crew of Logan, Wolf, Travis and Billy arrived and almost as an extension of Daryl began. I was impressed by how they all communicated with each other has to how they were going to go about the repair. They were so good and efficient that in the end I asked myself, "what were you worried about, just call these guys!"In summary, one must understand this is an evolving process. They can estimate but until they start work, there is no way they can be exact. Mine was no different and it equates to a project done right.Yes, it can be messy but they did a great job to minimize the dust and clean up after themselves.Next, is the thing we all worry about and that is cost. This type of work can be costly but Zander was well within range of what I researched to be fair. Although, I will admit I will pay extra for the best and hold them to their ethic, pride, and passion for their work.Lastly, always remember to say thank you. We're all human so remember a little thanks goes a long way so thank you Zander Solutions for a job well done! 👍

We contracted for an egress window and matching well on another window last fall. There was a delay getting the window we needed so even though we hoped it would be installed in the fall, we were not surprised when it wasn’t. About a month ago after many phone calls, they showed up to install the window but brought the wrong wells. They installed the window (beautiful job) but we are still waiting for the wells. Today, June 6, was to be the big day. No show, no phone call, no response to calling them. I would say they do good work but the aggravation is not worth it!

Update summer 2020: Zander got in touch and provided a discount on our installed windows. While They offered to come and fix the problem, but we had already finished (drywall, painted) the rooms and I was not willing to undo that work. I still only give three stars as they begrudgingly accepted responsibility and agreed to a discount only after I negotiated for it.I am extremely disappointed in our experience with Zander. I wanted to love them - they appear to have such a strong reputation, but that was not our experience at all. We hired them, even though they were the higher-cost option, to install 2 egress windows into our basement before we moved in in Summer 2019. Since then, we have taken on a project to remodel our basement and we have learned the following:1. They did not cut the window large enough to pass code for the bedroom in our basement - which is the whole reason we wanted to put a window in there in the first place. We learned this because the remodeling company that came to build out the bedroom could not get a permit for the room based on their current set up.2. They did not take care of closing out the project by having their work inspected. Rather, they told us this is our responsibility and we needed to get in touch with the inspector (which has never been my responsibility in all the projects I've done).3. When we called them about the window being the incorrect size, they passed the buck and said "you'll have to talk to the guy who came on sight" and also commented that it was probably "not their fault" the window was not to code.In short, I feel taken advantage of. A hole dug into your foundation is not something one can easily fix. At the very least, I would expect Zander to own up to their mistake (mistakes happen) and talk to us about how to make it right. I would strongly recommend finding another company to do your work.
