Good work at an affordable cost. Very fair pricing for my vinyl siding installation and I also was able to add in a couple of extra things without any issues. Would definitely recommend for someone who is looking for reasonable vinyl siding installation.

We had Modern Exterior come out two different times to install gutters on our new. We found everyone we were in contact with to be very professional and friendly. Both times they were able to schedule us right away. The crew that came to do the installation did a great job. I was surprised how quickly they completed the job. We will definitely call them if there is anything else we need to have done.

It was great to work with Modern Exterior. From the start with the inspection of our roof. ( finding possible unseen problems), which were replaced as roof was completed. The crew took extra precautions of our foundation plantings, and the final clean up was exceptional. The new roof is beautiful. We highly recommend Modern Exterior to others.

I did not have a pleasant experience with Modern Exterior. They were introduced to me by my property management company.My tenant reached out to property management with notice of a leak happening through the exhaust fan in the restroom back in November 2023. Modern Exterior came out and provided a fix for $1,450. The fix did not solve the leak which was the original reason they had gone out there.In January, I had gutters fall down because of the snow. I received a quote from Modern exterior of $3,500 to provide new gutters with gutter guards. Modern Exterior did not show up on the scheduled date. During the time I agreed on the gutters and before Modern Exterior came to the house, a separate and higher priority repair came to my attention. I tried to get my management company to cancel the gutters. Modern Exterior was called early in the morning but did not answer or return a call until the afternoon and said they were on site and it was too late. Partial blame of this is on my management company for not calling Modern Exterior when they did not show up on the appointed day.In March of 2024, Modern Exterior was finally able to fit my property into their schedule to address the leak that was not solved in November of 2023. They provided a $350 patch and that seemed to have fixed the leak which made me question the need for a higher cost initial fix.The leak caused a hole in the drywall ceiling around the vent. When asked to provide an estimate to fix the drywall ceiling I was quoted a price of $3,500 to remove and replace the drywall ceiling in a 6 foot by 6 foot restroom. I did not move forward with the estimate.I will not be working with Modern Exterior in the future.

Used Modern Exterior to put gutter guards on house last summer. Bad decision.1) The crew left a mess and didn't even finish taking clips off house where I had a downspout removed.2) Got more expensive gutters in parts, less expensive in another part. The less expensive ones are already failing.3) both sets of gutters have gaps at ends which allow birds in, I have had to clean out several birds nests from the gutters.4) I called to explain the situation and their answers were, we can come out and fix things and charge you. And they said that the gaps that the birds get in on is normal, but they can clear them out for a charge.5) There is an area where the water regularly runs over the side and in front of one of our doors. They told me that a flash guard would fix that and they would be happy to install it at a charge. Why wasn't it done originally?Service: Gutter installation

This company went above and beyond my expectations! They were extremely knowledgeable and friendly throughout the whole process. It took less than two weeks from the time I got the estimate to completion. They were in constant communication throughout the process. They had a crew of 7 with an expeditor on site at all times. The roof looks amazing! They also did an excellent job with cleaning up any debris. My yard looks better than it did before. I would highly recommend this company! From start to finish, Modern Exteriors did an amazing job. Dan came out and spent quite some time trying to locate the leak(s) in my roof. Dan explained all the options to try and repair the roof verses replacing the roof. As the roof was towards the end of its life span, the decision was made to just replace the roof. Dan dropped off shingle sample books for us to look at to determine the shingle type and color. We choose a few different options, and Dan wrote up quotes for each one. Cost of the project was extremely competitive. Dan answered all of our e-mails quickly as we had many, many questions. I then received a phone call from Chase, the project manager, to determine the best time to start the project. Chase was very understanding of the timeline of when we needed to schedule the start of the project. The day came and the crew showed up at 8:00 am and started to get to work. We were impressed with the fast, efficient, and very courteous manner in which the crew worked. The entire job was completed in 1 day. We would definitely recommend Modern Exteriors to anyone that needs roofing work done.

Modern Exteriors recently did a ventilation project at our home that involved installing cornice vents in our eaves and baffles in the attic. Our experience with M.E. was very positive. Easily one of the best experiences I've ever had with a home improvement project. After going through so many roofers who just wanted me to drop 15k to replace my roof, I discovered this place. Jay helped me so much through the entire project. Out of all the roofers I've talked to, Jay was the 1st to offer real solutions that I could afford. He even pointed out things that my insurance would pay for and talked me through the process with my insurance company. When they got here they got straight to work and finished within the day. They were the only firm that figured out that my flashing needed to be replaced. I had 3 plumbers out and they couldn’t give any suggestions as to the sour smell in my bathroom. I spent thousands of $$ on plumbers and venting companies that wouldn’t get up on the roof to check this out. John is a knowledgeable sales professional and provided us with a transparent estimate for siding, fascia, and gutter work. Chase and Jose were responsive in all communications throughout the project. They were both focused on customer satisfaction. From quote to completion, the project length was about 2 months. One suggestion is to ask that the crew use tarps to catch work debris for a more efficient and effective clean-up. The cost was reasonable and Modern Exterior provided workmanship quality and product warranties. Invoicing and payment are streamlined processes and Dayna is very pleasant to work with.
