This hotel was great. Best part of the hotel was the shower was hot with good water pressure and there was even a separate heater in the bathroom, which was nice to be able to get out of the shower and have a warm bathroom The only downside to staying here was the Wi-Fi, but I have an adapter to hook up my phone to the TV so not that big of a deal.

Loved loved loved this place.Kyle was so helpful with our 2 SUPER last minute bookings. (Including one I called in past midnight. Sorry Kyle 😭) The rooms and bathrooms are super clean and they had everything I needed. If you’re looking for a place to stay the night , I highly recommend this place. I felt safe and loved the fact I was able to get a hold of them past usual hours.Thank you Kyle and the Hideout Motel team.

An older motel that's had a nice amount of work to make it look new, on the inside. The room had a refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. The fridge is small, but functional. The room was clean and the A/C worked to keep it cool.Rooms: The room looked like it had recently been renovated. Newer looking carpets and smart TVs.

What a sweet little place! The owners are SO friendly and welcoming. We were informed that they have been in business for a little over a year, and I sure hope they stay in business for years to come!Incredibly fair pricing for such a wonderful atmosphere! The room itself was cozy and simple! The heater worked wonderfully. They had quite the variety of cold breakfast options and a cozy little dining area, not to mention the cute pups that livened things up!This was by far our favorite stay out of all the other hotels and motels we'd been staying in over the week. Please give them your business! 100% recommended!

The owners, Paul and Megan, along with their kids, Macey, Oliver and Violet, make this little hideaway a fabulous spot to park. We have an event, so I don't know about their cabins, but they are sold out a lot. There's a wonderful kids and dog area, a place for livestock if you need corrals, hot showers with towels, and the best continental breakfast you will ever find! If you need a place anywhere near Cookeville WY, stop here!! You won't regret it!!

Amazing! From the start the owners were very nice and super welcoming. The room was nice and had clearly been renovated recently. It was a very comfortable stay! Perfect get away to go on and the skiing nearby was awesome. Can’t wait to make another trip back!

5 STARS! Really. This unassuming Cokeville, WY treasure surprises. The back-story: Our road trip (Yellowstone/Mt Rushmore/Crazy Horse/geological wonders, and so much more) took us through Jackson Hole on July 2nd (2 days before the 4th of July, Independence Day holiday). Jackson Hole, while a clean & delightful tourist-centric community, proved to be a shockingly non-patriotic environment - OMG, not even 1 flag flying for the 4th of July holiday. What a turn off! We decided not to stay there. Taking off into the hinterlands without a room for the night, we rolled into Cokeville (120 miles later) at around 7:45pm. We saw The Hideout motel; a rustic, rough looking menagerie of structures and options (rooms, trailer/RV slips/camp sites) with a large center structure housing the office, breakfast room, owner's home, and workshops/storage. After a quick online search, we called and spoke with Paul. The call was low key and encouraging, resulting in us pulling in. It was 'all up' from there. Paul let us preview the room we'd get... we checked in without further hesitation. When we got back to the office we met Paul's wife, Megan. While checking in we spent generous time with Paul and Megan (the motel owners), and eventually some of their friends, who were also staying at The Hideout. Paul (a former school principal) and Megan (a one-time cooking show TV star, among her other talents) proved to be amazing and warm down-home personalities; bright, charming, full of energy - making us feel like family). Pricing: Very Reasonable and Appropriate - worth every penny! The Room: While not opulent, our room was like-new clean; the carpet was like-new, the entire room & bath were immaculately clean, as were the linens/towels, etc. Everything worked; Everything you need, and the water pressure was killer! The next day we glanced at another of their rooms (which was a one-bedroom suite); it was equally impressive. The Breakfast: One of the best spreads we've experienced. A great variety-something for everyone, and some pleasant surprises. Parting Thoughts: We've already told many of our friends & business acquaintances of The Hideout with the highest recommendation. It's different, but a very welcome surprise - a totally different experience than the normal chocolate/vanilla hotel-motel environment. Paul and Megan will make you feel right at home. Hit this place up. It's a wonderful breath-of-fresh-air experience. You'll thank us for the recommendation. And, Paul and Megan... we thank you!Connie & Mark in Tucson

I don't ever leave reviews anything. But feel compelled to for this place. What a great hideaway place. Everything was clean and cute. Had my own living room, bedroom and kitchen. Wish I could stay for a couple of days . Staff was very funny and friendly. It's 2° outside and you wouldn't believe it. Heaters work so well. Bed was so cummfy and sheets so very clean that they felt brand new.So everybody wants the bad news. Well. The only thing I could say was bad is I wish they had coffee in my room. Otherwise this place is awesome.Okay back to the road now. I may never come by here again. But if you do I hope you enjoy it as much as I did. Safe travels.

This place is exactly what you'd expect from small town Wyoming. Hot showers, satellite TV,nice beds. Nice staff and good value. Update 2023. The ownership has changed since my firat visit but I was just as happy with this stay. This time I brought my wife along and she enjoyed our stay as well. Couldn't ask for better service or nicer people.

We stayed overnight in an RV spot. Perfect stop for a quiet overnight stay. Well signposted from the highway with easy entry and exit on a wide crushed stone semi-circular drive. Everything is well maintained. Our host and hostess couldn’t have been more welcoming. This is primarily a motel which also has 3 RV full hookup sites. It’s in a beautiful rural area. Fast WiFi. Free continental breakfast in the cafe attached to the office. We would definitely stay here again.

From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed. The motel has a warm and worn feel to it— like it’s a part of the community. The decor in the outside is fun. Once I walked into the office to check in the owner was there to greet me. He gave me insights into fun things to do in the area. He was warm and friendly. The room I stayed in was clean and had modern upgrades. Coffee in the room, HULU to watch on the TV, and a basket of soaps in the bathroom. It was an affordable, clean, and welcoming space! As a queer person traveling across the US I never know where I’ll feel completely safe— I felt that here. A refuge! Oh and did I mention a continental breakfast bar between 6am and 10! Great selection! And coffee. Truly a wonderful little gem. I highly recommend staying with Hideout, I know for sure I’ll be back!

Awesome. Place is very clean and the rates are reasonable. The owner, Paul, is super friendly and you can tell he really cares about this place. I was travelling on my Harley and this motel is definitely biker friendly. I would highly recommend a stay here on your next rip through. Also, there is a bar and grill across the street that is excellent.

10 stars! me and my boyfriend stayed here for a weekend for our anniversary and this place exceeded our expectations! paul and his family & staff were so kind and easy to chat with, we are so glad we stayed here out of everywhere else! the rooms were very nice and very clean, it had everything we needed for our stay and more. the charm of it is what brought us to stay and the hospitality and everything being so amazing is what will bring us back! we stayed here for the weekend while going to bear lake and it wasn’t too far at all, it was definitely nice to have pretty scenery driving to and from bear lake each day. thanks again Paul, we will be back next trip to bear lake! we could’ve stayed elsewhere or closer to bear lake, but wanted to come here and didn’t regret it at all!

We are here in Wyoming as pilot escorts. Listen pilots, this is a little jem in the ruff! The owner is a nice man and will give us pilots a discount as they know we run practically seven days a week with the big trucks. The room is quaint but very clean, comfortable and quiet. Towels are white and clean! Looks like it has been updated and has a nice modern touch. Today was chilly here in this state so we ran the heater which works great. Overall, very nice for the price! Thanks!

The rooms are clean and very well maintained. The owners are very nice and great to talk to. They are updating all of the rooms. The room we stayed in hadn't been finished yet, but it was very nice before a makeover. We stayed for the Bear Lake Marathon and it couldn't have been better, start and finish line steps from our room! Highly recommend!

Megan and Paul really made our experience so much easier and more enjoyable! As attentive and friendly owners they were very adapting and accommodating to our changing schedules and people. Our 3 night stay accommodating 30 people happened with no issues at all. The updated Motel rooms were nicer than expected and better than you could hope for in a typical "motel" and the help of Paul and Megan with everything was above and beyond. I look forward to my next trip to the Hideout Motel...words I never would have thought I would utter about a motel!
