I would strongly discourage using this company. We’ve had several issues with them. Alotta Construction was contracted to build our custom dream home in Spring of 2021 with a finish date of September 2021. We are not even close to being completed as of June 2022. Unfortunately we had to pause work to get inspectors and legal advice. Since that time we have had to "remodel" our new home because of incorrect installment of materials.Here are just some of the issues:Alotta did not use a licensed plumber. Nearly the entire drainage aspect of the plumbing had to be removed and replaced, to include opening up walls due to insufficient or no venting in some areas. The drain lines never even had a drop of water running through the system before needing to be “remodeled”/replaced.Gas Line inside of home had 3 leaks.Siding was improperly installed which voids the warranty.Windows were installed without proper flashing, which now leak and have drafts.Also, Alotta installed Minnkota windows. We’ve had six broken windows and have experienced extreme difficulty with warranty. Minnkota reports Alotta (Minnkota Agents) has been given the replacement windows. Alotta informed us that Minnkota was giving them the runaround. Regardless, we still have had six broken windows with only 4 being replaced.In one incidence Alotta Construction even locked us out of our property.They charged us for work that was not completed. For instance, we paid them to replace wind damaged metal roofing and a solar tube. Neither was done. The roofing and solar tube were were paid for. Only after going through the attorney did we get the solar tube back. Still haven't received the metal roofing sheets or the refund on the labor.They removed items previously paid for by us.Held nearly $40,000 of materials until the Bank President and our Attorney intervened.These are only some of the problems we are/were experiencing.I would not recommend them, they will have excuses as to why issues have happened. Do not take their word at face value.ASK FOR REFERENCES(actually speak with them)Service: New home construction

I was in dire need of new windows so I contacted Alotta Construction. I was new to the area and had a recent negative contractor experience so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Alotta Construction promptly responded to my email inquiry, as well as all follow up calls throughout the process. They were quick to arrive and provide a fair quote. I found them to always be on time, honest and straightforward. The workmanship on all my installed windows was top notch! My house was so clean when they left I would not have known I just had a major project completed. I would highly recommend them. Thank you Alotta Construction!

I highly recommend hiring Alotta for your construction needs!Seven months ago, I hired a contractor to erect my 45’W x 40’L quonset aircraft hangar. Long story short, he wasn’t my first choice & he turned out to be a complete moron, destroying half the building.After dealing with that catastrophe, I hired Alotta to once again, erect the building & I am far from disappointed. James & Janna are good, down to earth, & hard working individuals that you can so much as trust with a simple hand shake agreement. They worked in a very timely fashion, & went above & beyond caring for my property & making sure the job was done right!Don’t make the same mistake I did... be patient, get on Alotta’s schedule & I guarantee you won’t be disappointed! My husband and I have been very satisfied with all the remodeling and structural repair work that the Alotta Construction team did for us. I have two beautiful and functional gas fireplaces and a Hot Dawg heater in our garage. They have provided excellent service for us and they actually have been fun to have around!We are so happy with their work that we have scheduled them to return to assist us with a future project!

BUYER BEWARE!!! My family hired this company to build our dream house for retirement, and it has been one disaster after another. The floor is not level, the gas pipe was installed improperly and mold occurred in the crawl space due to a lack of ventilation. They left without finishing the siding and did not purchase enough materials for the project. They did not run electricity to the barn and tried to charge an additional $8,500 for each wall of dry wall because they claimed it was a typo in the contract. This company did not have proper insurance nor did they not have their LLC at the start of construction. Overall this company cut corners to save money, and threaten to charge us an additional $30,000. They tried to force us off the property until we paid them the additional $30,000. ALL OF THIS IS DOCUMENTED THROUGH EXTERNAL REPORTS AND EMAILS.PS - They will delete your reviews from Facebook!And regarding the response below, yes I was physically present when these events occurred; however, the facts are the facts. :)

We have had this company do a lot of different projects for us....rock our fireplace, built a new deck, sheetrock ceilings, replaced bedroom door and bricked the lower half of the front of our house, any issues which weren't many they took care of....We are having them back to replace our living room door and put a deck off our bedroom
